Description of Work: Wood Wiz made us a door of glass and wood to match amish doors we already had, a perfect match also had piece of flooring that needed to be matched he did a great job. He has also did work at our business.

 + -1 moreI HAVE USED THE WOOD WIZ FOR SEVERAL CUSTOM, FINISHED CARPENTRY JOBS. HIS CRAFTSMANSHIP IS EXCELLENT.
Description of Work: THE WOOD WIZ CUSTOM BUILT A SET OF CABINETS FOR A WET BAR IN MY NEWLY REMODELED BASEMENT. THE JOB INCLUDED AN 8 FOOT SECTION (4 DOORS, 3 DRAWERS, 1 OPENING FOR MINI REFRIGERATOR) THAT WAS STANDARD COUNTER TOP HEIGHT AND A 6 FOOT SECTION (4 DOORS) THAT WAS STANDARD BAR TOP HEIGHT.

 + -1 moreWE ARE ABSOLUTELY THRILLED WITH OUR STAIRWAY! THE WOOD WIZ TOOK A SERIES OF MEASUREMENTS PRIOR TO US TEARING OUT THE OLD STAIRWAY SO THAT HE COULD BUILD THE NEW STAIRWAY WITH THE EXACT SAME DIMENSIONS AS THE OLD ONE. HE PERFORMED ALL OF THE CUTTING, SANDING & FINISHING WORK AT HIS SHOP, AND BROUGHT THE STAIRWAY TO OUR HOME IN 20 OR 30 PIECES. THE PIECES WENT TOGETHER LIKE A GIANT PUZZLE, AND IN LESS THAN 2 HOURS WE HAD A BEAUTIFUL NEW STAIRWAY. WE REALLY APPRECIATED THIS APPROACH BECAUSE ASIDE FROM THE 2 HOURS OF ASSEMBLY, WE WERE NEVER WITHOUT A STAIRWAY. THE ONLY PROBLEM WE HAD WITH THE JOB WAS THE PRICE OF OAK WAS A LITTLE MORE THAN HE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE WHEN HE GAVE US OUR INITIAL QUOTE, SO THE PRICE OF THE JOB DID GO UP A LITTLE BY THE TIME WE WERE FINISHED. WE HAVE USED THE WOOD WIZ FOR ALL OF OUR CUSTOM CARPENTRY WORK, AND WE HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED.

 + -1 moreJOHN IS A TRUE CRAFTSMAN. HE IS KIND OF QUIRKY, AND A LITTLE LONG WINDED, BUT HIS WORK IS ABSOLUTELY TOP NOTCH. OUR MANTLE LOOKS FANTASTIC, AND IT REALLY FITS IN WITH OUR OLD, HISTORIC HOME. WEVE RECEIVED MANY COMPLIMENTS ABOUT THE PIECE, AND EVERYONE IS SURPRISED TO FIND OUT THAT IT WAS NEWLY CONSTRUCTED.
