Description of Work: This provider provided an accurate estimate of cost prior to the repair. The communication prior to coming to our residence was excellent and the repairman was prompt and repaired our appliance in a reasonable amount of time. The only minor issue was that it seemed like we were pretty sure what the problem was with our appliance and the repairman did not have the part with him when he first came to look at our situation. It was my impression from the repairman that the part that I needed was a relatively common part, so it would have been nice if the repairman had it to avoided the second trip to our house. As I said, it was only a minor issue. I would use them again.

Description of Work: Problem was a Kenmore dryer.The computer card died. Kenmore, while made by Whirlpool, is proprietary. Whirlpool parts are just different enough not to work. Overall, I would use Mr Appliance again, but I probably should have just bought new. The tech was quite professional but it took a 3rd trip for it to be fixed. Quite a frustration!

Description of Work: They charged $80 to go out to our house to give an estimate on the repair to fix our stove light. They said they would discount the $80 fee if we use them to do the repair. We thought it was fair and had them come out to give an estimate. The estimate came to $265 to fix the light. We looked up the piece that was damaged and required to be replaced - it costs less than $10 if purchased online. We really doubt that the labor cost or time to replace the damage piece would cost $255. We talked to the representative on the phone about the cost, and she was not happy and basically said that the charge was reasonable, or they could not make money. The customer service was really bad and the way she handled dissatisfied customer was not professional.
