They got in touch with the insurance company and told them this one that I had was too old and rusty and I needed a new one. The insurance company gave them no flack. They went and bought it and put it in. The installation went really well for me. The insurance company sends the plumbers, but if I had to pay myself I still would use them.

They came, and my hot water heater that I had for years had messed up and they came and saw it was rusted up. They called the insurance company and got me a new one. They came back the next day and put it in.

Wonderful, it all still works and some of the work was done 8 ago.

Not well. It was a young guy who did not bring the proper tools to complete the job. He said that he had forgot the rotor rooter and would need to go get it. Well, some how that changed to him saying that he tried to unplug it with some other piping tool he had but couldn't clear it and if we still wanted it clear, we would need to call back and set it up with John for an additional fee of over $200. I was not happy about this. Me and my husband decided to call a professional well service company and they told us that our well was fine. It was not going dry and what needed to be done was that the well pump had to be replaced. That company was C&J Well and Drilling from Brownsburg. If you have a well, I would highly recommend them, not John & John. We have been customers of John & John for years. They were always my go to plumbing company and I would typically probably rate them an A-B for regular plumbing service. After this apt. though, I could not ever give them a professional rating like that again. The young man was very friendly, but had to stay on the phone with his boss to figure out what the problem was. I don't think it was all his fault. I think they should have sent someone with more experience in servicing wells. I do think it's his fault for not bringing the rotor rooter though. I don't think it's appropriate to come and complete service without the proper tools. I gave the office a detailed explanation of the problems that I was experiencing and feel that they should have at least came prepared to fix the problem. I think carrying a rotor rooter should be a necessary, basic tool to carry as a plumber. Maybe I'm wrong. Just my thoughts. Unfortunately, I will not be able to use them again. I hope they are able to make some improvements to the company.

In general, everything went well - until I discovered a leak from one of the newly installed valves. It was replaced the same day I called, but was told it had not been installed properly the first time. Still, they made it right, but it was an inconvenience to have to work around their schedule a second time.

The best thing I could say is that they got to the job quickly but they weren't very communicative in telling me how long it's going to take. It was on a rental property. They didn't ask the renter's permission to stay there and they were there all night. I got a lot of complaints from the renter because he felt that was a violation of his privacy. They were working the whole time. It seemed like if there wasn't a supervisor there, the guys that were working would screw around. The supervisor would come back and they had some stupid excuse. It ended up being the supervisor who stayed there all night to get it done. The price was average. The quality of work seemed to be fine. I would use them on a smaller job that I knew that wouldn't take so long.

I did not get them off Angie's List. Their price was expensive. I guess their quality was okay; I have not had any more complaints. The work they did was in a rental house and I am trying to weigh both sides of everything. They are not my first call on the list. I have used their services and their work, as far as I know, was adequate, or my tenants would have complained. The way I found out about this company is I was referred to some man, by the woman at the bank. I thought he was doing the work I talked to him on the phone then come to find out this John & John company called me and they were here doing the work. I asked them what they were doing here. I did not stay there with them but they got the job done so I would say they did it in a timely fashion. The only thing I did not like with that company is the deal they had with that employee. It was just such a surprise. They are expensive, but so is everybody else.

They were putting in a bath and they told me it would take about a week and it ended up taking around 3 weeks. They kept not showing up and not calling me. I actually had to go to their office several times to get them to do anything. It was pretty awful. They did good work but when they showed up, their customer service was terrible. They are a little higher than a couple of other people out there. The water kept coming back out and I contacted them and someone said they'd take a look at it. They said they'd have the boss come out but the boss never came out and they never returned my calls.

I bought a brand new central air for this house right after I moved in. The air conditioner went out only after half the life of the air-conditioner.The people that put it in wanted to sell me a new one. It should have lasted till 2020. I thought, "This isn't right." So, I called these guys. They found the problem. It was just a wire that had burned. They did a good job. They're very good. They know what they're doing. I was really pleased. They have worked on everything. Our plumbing got clogged up. We had really old sewer pipes. Roots had grown into it and clogged them up. So, we had to put in a whole new section of pipes. So, we've used them for plumbing, for furnace and for air conditioning. Any time we have a plumbing problem, I call them because they come and they're reasonable. I will always call them for any plumbing problems that I have. We're very happy with them. They come on time. They tell you what happened, explain it to you whether you could fix it yourself or not and what you need to do to keep things up to snuff. They're really good about that. They come on emergencies. If they don't directly answer your emergency call, they will call you right back. They don't ignore you for a long time. They'll call you right back. They don't waste your time.

They were pretty good. They were ready. They explained everything very well, and the charge was reasonable as far as I remember. I don't remember much. And they did a good job. He was very personal and explained to me everything.

Awful!!! They have no idea what they are doing when it comes to heat pumps! They aren't even listed as doing heat pump work but the previous owners warranty company called them out to fix the problems. In the process of buying our home the inspection showed that the two heat pumps were un-level and one was operating in emergency or electric mode. We had to call them out twice to just get them leveled and they said everything was operating normally. and then after we moved in, our bills were $600-$700/month when they should have been around $250 according to everybody else. When I called back, the guy who did the work didn't know what he was talking about and said everything was normal. He didn't even know that a heat pump could be in emergency mode unless you switched it over to it on your thermostat. They were polite and nice on the phone and offered to come back out and they may actually be fine with plumbing but I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them to do anything with heating!

It is March and the job is still not done (started the end of January). Very disorganized project management by owner who requires all decisions be approved by him. Owner does not plan project well, nor does he provide guidance to the owner in project details. He does not provide guidance in picking materials. THESE COMMENTS ARE FOR REMODELING PROJECTS AND NOT PLUMBING PROJECTS. Finished Job with excellent final outcome. Our previous misunderstanding has been positively addressed by the owner. He is working to reorganize the business to relieve the dependence on him to give him more time for the customer. I am extremely confident in the owners sincerity to provide a good end result. I would highly recommend this company for both plumbing and remodeling!

John and John Associates were referred to us by our home warranty company. Having just purchased the house, we didn't expect to need anything so soon. They came out within the 24 hour required response time. Although, they did show up at the very end of their two-hour arrival window. I expected the "approval" from the warranty company to take a little longer. The plumbers worked with them to speed up the process and get the repairs done. With all of the rain we've had this week, it was imperative they fix the sump pump right away. We only had to pay the $100 deductible on our home warranty, so I'm not sure what the total service would have cost. I can't fairly rate J and J pricing based off of that. They were friendly and got the work completed in a timely manner.

They were excellent, i would rate them A in everything they have done. They could have taken me a lot of money if they wanted but they did not. They're reliable, i could have them come and leave, they're very trust worthy and they come as soon as they can. They're nice, i needed the bathroom and called them in the midnight and they came.

I have used them in the past and was very pleased with their work.

The pipes were busted and they said they'd be here Monday morning. Monday came around and they never showed up. I tried to call them for a whole week and they never returned the calls.

They were prompt in showing up at the time scheduled. They completed the work in one visit and the cost was very reasonable.

It went very well. i will use them again.

He is very good, and I used him because I knew him. If he can't be out when he says he will be, he will call you, and let you know. He did a very good job. I would definitely use him again, and would recommend him.

Phoned early in the morning, speaking directly to a person, who took information and said she would get back to me. She called back some time later, saying that they would be able to make a service call between 11:30 and 1:30. They arrived about 1:30, reviewing the information we gave. Their diagnosis seemed to be exactly correct. They cleaned out the main line going in farther then felt necessary and the problem was solved and drainage performs much faster than before clean-out. No leaks from washer.

I have used John and John three times now and have been very pleased with every aspect of each visit. They were on time, were friendly, courteous and knowledgeable, and worked very hard to fix the problems. In addition, they cleaned up after the work. I appreciated how they answered questions I had. I also appreciate their not spending any time telling me how horrible our plumbing is and trying to sell us things! It's hard for me to rate any plumbing charge "excellent" - so I gave them a "good." However, I think their prices are quite reasonable in comparison to others. I will definitely call on them again for any future plumbing problems.

He showed up instantly. He identified and fixed the leak within ten minutes. He knew what he was talking about, was knowledgeable and didn't try to sell me a load of goods. They keep current inventory on their trucks, got it done and kept the place clean. The price, quality, and professionalism are great. I would use them again in the future.

Let me just say - your experience is going to be based upon the people who come to your house. This is just the way it is, I've used this company a few times and the only time I have good experiences are when I get one guy in particular. This time, on this occasion; I had a couple guys come out and they were inefficient and wishy washy about how to fix my toilet. They told me they were unable to install my sink faucet; which is fine because they wanted to charge me by the hour and they didn't know 'how many hours it might take'. They brought in a shim to shim my wobbly toilet and tried to charge me $95 for it. I promptly called the office and spoke with the owner. When I shared with him what happened, he sent my favorite guy out the next day. This guy who came back fixed the toilet and installed my sink faucet at a reasonable price. So, yes I can see why this company has some bad ratings....but if you get the right people they still have the potential!

I had a very positive experience. They cleaned up after they left.

I'm very happy with the work that they do. They fix any mistakes from previous renovations.
