I called Clay County Furnace on the Monday morning after the Saturday our AC went out. I spoke with Linda--she was very kind and explained that there were a few other service calls that day, but that she'd get us on the list to have someone come out and look. This was around 9:30am. At 2pm, I was getting worried that I hadn't heard from anyone yet (my husband and dog were at home waiting for a technician in the heat), so I called Linda again to see if she had an estimated time. She was, once again, SUPER nice and told me that the service technician would be calling me any time as he was finishing up the job before ours. I was called then an hour later by the service tech, who said he'd be right out. I am completely unfamiliar with timeliness in situations like these, as this is my first owned home, but I think that same day service is very impressive, so I was happy with that. Although my husband was the one who was home at the time, he was very complimentary of the repair technician and said that he seemed very honest. He noticed the problem immediately, and didn't hesitate to begin work because he knew it was around 85 degrees F in our home. He talked my husband through the problem and was very courteous and professional. Now we have air conditioning and we can relax in our new home! They charged us $29.96 for the fuse that needed to be replaced, and $70 for the labor. This morning, I received a call from Linda double checking that everything had gone alright. She knew that I wasn't home during the service and she wanted to make sure my husband had filled me in--I truly appreciated this. I HIGHLY recommend Clay County Furnace to anyone looking to get AC/heating serviced in the Clay County area. They are a small business but are very easy to work with, honest, and just plain nice. I will certainly be calling them again if anything else goes wrong (knock on wood).

After making rounds delivering Christmas gifts for family on Friday evening, December 21st., 2012, I arrive h to find my house cold and my 16 year old furnace out.. I tried to get it to light but to no avail. I called Clay County Furnace and left a voice mail about the problem at about 11pm. Larry called at 8:00am the next morning and was out to the house to find out what was wrong by 8:30am. He found that the Heat Exchange would have to be replaced but that he couldn't get one until after New years. As I decided to go with the new furnace instead, he could not schedule installation of the new furnace until he had completed installation which were already scheduled. Luckily one party postponed due to all the snow. He got it installed on the 28th. It is working perfectly and I could not be happier with the quality and performance of the furnace, and professional workmanship of his crew. I would definitely recommend Clay County Furnace as I feel they are trustworthy and mindful of the customers' concerns. Incidentally, Clay County Furnace had originally installed the first furnace 16 years ago and the air conditioning a year later. They have regularly done checkups and maintenance on both throughout the years. I do not believe that you can find anyone who will be more open and honest presenting you all available options for you to make the best decision for you and your family.

They will try to come out immediately if we are without heating or air conditioning if they possibly can. They always fix it.
