Description of Work: My computer was having fainting spells (blacking out). Alan pout me in touch with Daniel, his son. It was done remotely!. Yea!. We talked on the phone and he hooked up to my computer from his office. I could see everything he was doing.

Description of Work: A variety of tasks were performed. Upgrading to 3 MacBook Pros to the newest operating system, Sierra, when Simply Mac repeatedly could not. Another tasks that Verizon Wireless & Simply Mac could not perform repeatedly were issues of 2 different iPhone 6 & 7 issures, Alan Ng performed amazingly. Where TimeWarner Cable / Spectrum could not take care of modem issues, Alan Ng totally delivered.

 + -1 moreAlan suggested I should go ahead and upgrade to Windows 10 from 8.1, which I was happy to do. He reinstalled everything that I needed, including my Anti-Virus and Office docs. He picked up my laptop from my house the same day I called him, and dropped it back off to me the next day with the work completed. He even gave me a discount!
Description of Work: My laptop was not used for 2 years, and I was unable to get Windows Update to perform.

 + -1 moreIt went well. He spent 3 hours working on the old computer and set up new one. Even helped set up the printer and other stuff before leaving our home. He made sure everything is working and left the job completely done.
Description of Work: Checked the old computer but it was fried. We ended up buying new computer which he went with my husband to the store to pick new computer. He did everything he could to maybe recover old files and transfer to new computer but it was unseccesful due to old computer being damaged or fried.

Other questions were answered regarding device security including erasing browsing history on cell phones and laptop. Techs were easy to work with and added supplemental info along the way which was helpful.
Description of Work: My laptop computer needed a tune-up because It had been running slower since Windows 10 and other updates were installed. I wanted to see if an upgrade in virus protection was needed when my current package expires. I also wanted to print from 2 cell phones and an IPad.
