Dear Angie's list, I was really very pleasantly surprised how fast the tree was removed. and they didn't wait very long till they contacted us again for stump removal. This company and its owner/ managers were very professional and i have and would recommend them to everyone. I think they may have did the best job i ever saw for any type of service vendor that i have had to my home. I have already planned to use them again in the near future. Great Job!

It was a good couple of days of work. I am quite pleased with them. They were reasonable and careful. They took care of the yard. I would use them again. The overall experience was excellent.

They were certainly professional.

We were in the Bahama's and came home to find that a storm had knocked a tree down at our house. They came in with an entire crew, trucks and everything that they needed. The tree broke off so half of it was still the ground. They did some damage to some concrete slabs at our house and they immediately paid us for those. It was very nice. We were very happy with them.

They are simply the most thorough and cautious people I have ever worked with in my life. I was absolutely stunned by how good they were.

I found another tree service company to take care of the tree.

Contacted business on Wednesday, June 1st - due to storm damage, they were not able to provide an estimate for several weeks, however, the lady I spoke with told me the crew would be able to perform the necessary services early the following week. I told her it was imperative the tree be taken care of and to put us down for service. I called on Wednesday, June 8th to ask when the crew would be out. There wasn't any answer, so I left a message. On Friday, I called again and spoke to the same lady who said, "Charlie said something about your address earlier, let me call you back." I didn't get any type of phone call, but at 3:30pm, my husband and I heard chain saws. We looked out to see a crew of six men and three trucks taking care of the tree. Unfortunately, part of the tree rolled off of the forklift and smashed part of our sand trap cover. The operator stated he had already talked to the 'boss-man' and they would take care of it. The tree was taken care of, the stump is no longer and the cost of replacing the concrete was taken off of our bill that arrived just 3 days later.

Charlie did exactly what he said he was going to do. He arrived when he said he would arrive, and he was very pleasant. He was the only person who came out to my house and give me an itemized estimate. After they were finished, they hauled away any debris. They were great to work with.

Initially had hoped to get a quote at same time as other company, but they did take a couple weeks to get back to me. However, talking with Charlie, and his recommendation of consulting the Ag. Extension office for advice on what to do with my trees overcame any negative feelings. They left the stump from tree they removed, and I thought they had forgotten the grinding I had asked to be added to the estimate, but came back within a few days to remove it on their own. Overall a good experience and I'd likely use them again.

American Eagle came out right away to clear my driveway so I could get my car out during the ice storm of 2009. They didn't ask for anything in payment or for me to be there. After things had settled down from the storm they came out and we discussed the tree and some bushes and other trees I wanted taken care of. They told me how much it would cost and that was the price I paid. They didn't ask for any payment until the work was completed. They did a great job. I am very impressed and will always use this company for any tree services.

My husband called to get an estimate for tree removal. We were told that someone would be out at a specific date and time. I took off work and nobody ever showed. When I called them back I was told that someone had driven by and decided the tree was too close to the house for them to remove. When I asked why they didn't stop and talk to me I was told they didn't think it was necessary since they wouldn't do the job. Very unprofessional to leave someone waiting. They were very rude.

American Eagle was one of two tree services that gave us a quote on removing the tree. They arrived quickly and gave a detailed written estimate. They were a company that was also recommended by a neighbor. Their cost was very reasonable and it included the cost of removing the stump. They are very popular in town becuase of their good reputation so unless you have an emergency be prepared to wait for approximately 5-6 weeks for them to arrive. They did not leave a single branch in the yard once they were done. They are also nice enough to just mail a bill to you so you do not have to be on the premises for them to do the work.
