WYLIE'S FLOOR COVERING

The installation was scheduled about 6 weeks ahead of time. Wylies's ordered materials and the work was started and finished in one day. The two workmen arrived on time and completed the entire installation in the living room and dining room area in one day. They hauled away the carpet and padding that was removed and cleaned up the garage area at the end of the day.

We were happy with the carpet, however, the people who laid it did not somehow get it tucked in or tucked down on the wood trim that we had around a piece of slate that we had there and they were not willing to do anything about it. They basically said, "Well, we cannot do anything about it." And we ended up not having them fix it because they acted like there was no way they could fix it. So, we ended up having a carpenter come in and pull the wood trim that we had and make a bigger wood trim so that it would overlap the carpet because the carpet there was starting to wear out within a week. And after that was done I went in and I showed them what we had paid and I said, "I know that you said that you could not fix it so we fixed it ourselves and I wonder if you would be willing to pay any part of this cost." It was not a huge cost. I mean, we were not talking hundreds of dollars and I felt that they could have gracefully said, "Well yeah, we will pay $50 or $75." But no, that was up to us. We had that done and they were not interested. So, our carpet looks very well and we really liked their salesperson and I even liked the carpet layers. They did a good job except that they missed one area and nobody said to us when they were measuring or even when they were laying it down like, "You know, this is the problem for us here," so that we had a heads up but we just noticed it. Because of that, unfortunately, we would not go back there. The carpet was a pretty durable carpet. We liked the carpet very much but we did not like the fact that we had to pay $230 to fix the problem that they left. My husband was pretty aggravated that they could not come up with any little help for this. As long as my husband is on this earth, he would never go there.

Installed carpet in living room and family room of our house. Beautiful job. Installers cleaned up after installation and the sales woman we dealt with was extremely helpful. Would definitely use them again.
