+ -1 moreVery well. Traffic patterns couldn't be completely erased because, as it was explained to me, the carpet fiber had broken down with use. I had an open plan living room/dining room and large bedroom cleaned and protected for a total of 4 rooms as measured by their sq ft. Purchased a year's service for 2 additional cleanings.
Description of Work: Light beige carpeting had a years worth of traffic patterns, although I had tried to be careful. I had shampoo cleaned it once myself with a Carpet Doctor device.

Description of Work: I had used Stanley Steemers in the past back home in MI. I thought I would get the same kind of service here as I did there...I was wrong. The person that came was late to start with and he was the only person.I had always had 2 before. He informed me he was so good I would only need him. What always took the 2 guys at least 2 hrs. to do before this kid said he had done in 1 1/2 hr.! I don't know everything about carpets but I knew these were not clean!!!! I stated as much and he said they were cheap carpets and he had done what he could! I could not believe it! When I got a call from the company and asked how I liked the service I told them I would never use them again. Less then 30 min. later I had a call from a district manager who wanted the details. He then asked if HE could come out and look at the job the next day. Not only did he come out but so did another guy and after 2+hours had my carpets looking a whole lot better!!! I did not give a great rating as I do not know if the other guys is still with this company and do not want any of my neighbors to get stuck with him! So please ask before you hire they are not all bad!!!

+ -1 moreWe just bought a new home and had newish, but dingy carpeting in a couple of rooms and a sadly neglected slate floor. The Stanley Steemer guys did a great, thorough job reviving that carpet and scrubbing the slate floor. Very professional and efficient. Will likely make at least an annual appointment with them, if not more often.

+ -1 moreWe had purchased the house approx 18 months ago and had the carpets cleaned before we moved in with someone other than Stanley Steemer and there were still light stains from the prior owner...The main areas now were soiled pretty bad from foot traffic. Bret (from Stanley Steemer) said because of the soiled areas he would do his best to clean them and once it dried and we had concerns just give he a call. Bret worked on the carpets and was able to clean up all the stains without any discoloration.....Yea!!!! Exceptional job.. I will defintely be using him again.... I am planning to have Stanley Steemer come back and clean my Air Ducts as well as my Dryer Vent line. Again exceptional job.
