Moved into my new home 2 July 2014. sold my old home on 1 October 2014. He got the job done quickly and with no hassle for me. And, has taken care of many glitches on the way. Ron is very helpful and dedicated to getting the job done. He and his assistant, Connie, were a pleasure to deal with. UPDATE : June 24, 2015 - I found out 6 months later that he had neglected to tell me that the house had been on the market for 2 years. That would have really effected how much I would have offered for the house. After I purchased the new home, it was difficult getting things done in a timely manner after about the first month. I wasn't given the name of a contact person for the issues that I did have and I am still at this time trying to get things taken care of. The expiration date for the warranty on the house is on July 2nd, 2015.

I worked with Ron (& Connie) to sell my father's home after he became ill. They were able to get resources quickly to make the home ready for sale. They had many connections that I was not able to get on my own. Ron went above and beyond his call of duty as a realtor in my opinion, and worked very hard for his commission. I lived out of town, so I wasn't able to get down to Bloomington as often as I needed to, so Ron (& Connie) really helped out when I couldn't be there. From delivery of appliances, to carpet installation, handyman work, and painters, they really did a great job in making my dad's house look great for the market quickly. My dad's home sold within a couple of weeks of meeting Ron. I am very grateful for everything that was done, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

We were looking for a home in Bloomington, IN for our retirement. Zillow and Trulia just didn't do it so we contacted Remax and Ron Plecher. What a guy and his side-kick Connie! From the moment we first met them they were terrific. As a gay couple we were somewhat uncertain about the response an unknown realtor might have but Ron and Connie welcomed us with open arms to the diverse community of Bloomington -" the more the merrier". Their many years of experience in the Bloomington market made them experts in what areas/neighborhoods would meet our needs. Ron and Connie listened attentively to our needs and dreams and within a couple of days found us a beautiful condo at the right price and negotiated the sale. They were kind and patient with our many questions and phone calls. The closing went smoothly and was painless. Once we closed they continued to be available to us for all those extra moving needs from securing a reliable painter, construction guy, carpet man, etc., anything we needed to make our home "our" home. They went above and beyond any of our expectations. We felt comfortable to contact them any time we had questions - evening, weekends, whenever. They answered all of our emails as well as voicemails. House hunting is a very stressful life event. Ron and Connie are the best at making it almost an enjoyable experience. We highly recommend them. Their office is located right downtown and easy to find with plenty of parking space.

Very professional. Kept me up to date on everything that happened. Friendly, helpful. His office is also helpful and professional. It was the best real estate experience I've had.

It was excellent! He was great. He had a lot of energy. He had the house listed on the internet within less than 24 hours and pictures were up in less than 48. We closed just a little over 2 months after we first contacted him. He was fabulous! They came in and staged the house and it looked really nice. I will highly recommend him. I did a research on him on Angie's List and Yelp and the feedback that I read about him made us decide to go with him. He got a 6% commission.

We met Ron when looking at a house we were interested in that he was selling. We didn't end up purchasing that home, but in meeting him he referred us to a realtor to help us sell our home in a different area. As we proceeded through the selling process we chose Ron to help us find the right home to purchase and guide us through the process. I cannot express how helpful Ron was during a very stressful process. It seemed like there were more gotchas and possible problems with timing in buying and selling at the same time, etc than we could have predicted. When I felt like I could not stand another flaky response or undetermined answer and expressed my frustration with Ron he took it upon himself to find straight answers and make sure people were doing the things that needed to get done. He and his assistant Connie went above and beyond, even contacting our selling agent, the lender of the people purchasing our home, etc to make sure the closing date was happening and people were all on the same page. And to top it off he gave us a bottle of Dom Perignon to celebrate our purchase. We were very pleased with his service and helpfulness.

Ron Plecher recently coordinated the sale of our old house and the purchase of our new house. Some of the issues between the two houses became rather complicated and that is where I was very thankful to have Ron representing us. He and his assistant Connie went above and beyond the call of duty at every point. I don't see how you could find anyone better in this town. He was excellent at advising on interior design, he was excellent at financial advising. He was trustworthy and was confident in what we needed to do to sell and buy our house. He made it happen!! Any problem that came up Ron not only handled it but solved it . The third time with our house on the market and it sold because of Ron and Connie. They were always available and made me feel like I was the only client they had!!

Our experience with him was outstanding. He went above and beyond any other realtor that we have dealt with. He made the process go very smoothly. We did not have to worry about a thing. He was great at marketing. He was very responsive. He handled a lot of things that other realtors would probably had told us that it was our problem, and he just made us so very comfortable with the whole process. He got us more than we had it listed for.

I wanted to tell everyone what a wonderful experience I recently had working with Ron Plecher of Remax Realtors in Bloomington Indiana. Buying a home can be a very daunting experience, but try doing it from another country! I was on a year-long assignment in Afghanistan, but knew I had to have a place to live upon returning. I relied completely on Ron to find this special home for me and under such unusual conditions. After searching many on-line listings, I finally narrowed the field down to a few, but making such a large purchase without actually seeing the home in person seemed just plain crazy to me and all my friends, however, I had a very strong feeling that I could trust Ron in this situation and I was right. He was very patient with me and took the time to check out all my prospective houses and came back quickly with very comprehensive and very honest evaluations, including numerous pictures of the homes, both inside and out. He even took numerous pictures of the views from the house and the surrounding neighborhood. His willingness to work so hard for me in this process made me feel like I was his only client, which I knew was far from the case, and even though it was not a very expensive home I decided upon, he performed as if it were. Ron performed services well above and beyond my expectations and I have worked with many realtors over my lifetime. For example, he found the best place for me to secure a mortgage and worked many hours with this agency as the go-between, since I often did not have any form of communication from Afghanistan. Another example would be his willingness to locate and schedule one of the most respected home inspectors in the city, and on a moments notice. Last but not least, he helped me to find subcontractors to help with any renovations I might need down the road. Finally, I just want to say, that anyone who needs to either buy or sell a home should give Ron or his trusted assistant Connie, a call, but only if you want truly personalized service with big smiles!

Mr. Plecher takes a good deal of pride in the recognition he has won for selling a lot of houses. My impression is that he cares very much about this, as well as about maintaining good relations with other agents, and that he quickly defers to their demands. This is good for him, but not great for his clients. I will say that he was polite at all times. We were not completely satisfied with his services, mainly because he did so little to help us find an appropriate price at the outset, then pressured us to lower it on the basis of inappropriate comparisons (and perhaps because he knew were wanted to move on). I would also caution future clients to be aware that some of the professionals he recommended used cheap materials and were sloppy; the criterion was how quickly they could work, not how well. Were I to do this all over again, I would have looked for an agent that would spend more time at the outset to help us evaluate the market, would work with us more closely throughout the process, and who would be more transparent with us in his/ her thinking and negotiating with potential buyers and agents. The agent can't control the market or produce a perfect buyer, of course, but honest and open communication goes a long way when one is trying to sell a house in a slow economy.

He was professional and courteous. He was very attentive to our needs and he sold the house very quickly. He sold our home at the appraised value in a very soft real estate market.
