Great job! Inspected the roof, patched a couple of places, and took pictures of the roof to showed us the general condition of the roof and where he had repair it. We were thinking of replacing the roof this year, because a different person told us that we would be needing a new on soon. Rapid Restoration told us that the existing roof was good for another 3 to 5 years. Save us a bundle of money that can be put to use on other projects. We will hire him again and recommend him!

Because of how late in the season it was, there was a delay due to weather; however, all the parts of the job were completed within 30 days. The roofing was replaced by a subcontractor out of Indianapolis on 11/5/2013. The crew was incredibly efficient. They were pleasant and cheerful. They didn't mind that I climbed up on the roof to talk to them about portions of the decking that needed to be replaced and to observe the progress of the job. They did an excellent job of cleaning up -- I found almost no debris or nails after they finished. The finished roof was beautiful. The gutters were replaced by a subcontractor. He produced continuous gutters on-site. He, too, was willing to have me observe and ask questions about the process (and help a little since he was working alone that day); he explained what he was doing and why. He took the time to check that the gutter sloped properly to the downspout and that there were no high or low spots. After installing the gutters, he went to extra trouble to try to find a connector that would allow the new, larger (4 x 6") downspouts to be connected to the buried pipe that had carried water from the downspouts away from the house. When it became apparent that no such connector existed, he helped me remove the old buried pipe and gave me specific information on what kind and size of pipe to replace it with and the type of connector needed to attach it to the downspouts. Clean-up was well done. The siding was replaced on 11/25/2013. Again, the crew was willing to have me observe and ask questions. They removed the old siding and trim, installed a layer of insulation, and installed the new siding and trim. They took the time to adjust each piece so that it was level across the whole house and matched the siding on the end walls of the house. Rapid Restoration's handyman replaced the molding around the walk-through door next to the garage door. Because the molding (from a kit from Lowe's) was not perfectly cut, it was not a perfect fit, but he made adjustments. He also installed the gutter covers (Hallett); he did a neat job. The final repair was to re-atttach an extension of the siding that covered the foundation of the porch next to the garage. Originally, the siding extension had been attached to wooden slats that were screwed to the porch foundation; the wood slats had rotted over time. The handyman, instead of replacing the slats, hung the siding extension with a single screw. He then thoroughly sealed the siding to the foundation. I was concerned that one screw would not hold up over time. When I discussed it with Wayne Cottrell, the proprietor of Rapid Restoration, he agreed that it was insufficient. He promised to come back in the spring and repair it properly. We have an appointment for the near future. I was very pleased with the work done by Rapid Restoration. I was pleased and impressed that, when I questioned how one repair was done, Mr. Cottrell said that he would make it right. I would highly recommend him.

We were out of town when the work was done, but upon our return, it was finish and our property was left very clean with no damage to grass or plants.

Worked patiently with me to select the right color roofing. Brought many samples, laid them out on the roof so I could compare them with current roof and each other. Gave me addresses to check installations of the colors of shingles I was considering. Very willingly adjusted start date to accommodate a tree removal. Arrived when they said they would. Could not be happier with their professionalism, patience, and excellence of work.

siding and roofing replacement were completed. problems began a couple of years later, siding falling off or partially separating from the house. called rapid restoration and twice, over a two year period, a representative came out and looked at the problem, also a gutter was not angled correctly and water did not drain to the downspout. representative said that was covered but not the siding falling off the house. no return contact was ever made by rapid restoration as to coming out to fix the problems even though after the first visit, an estimate was made but with no date as to when the job would be done. I never heard from them again. two years after the first inspection, when I called again, RR seemed to have no knowledge of the first visit. when hail damage occured in 2012, I chose a different contractor to replace the siding and roof. this contractor stated that the siding was not properly installed. there were 5 different siding panels that had come loose over time. I didn't notice any other houses with the same problem. also, the vents installed were supposed to be bird proof. they aren't. had to take special measures to counteract this problem. no further action is expected. new siding and roofing are installed. the jobs are completed.

work started on the day as promised and went very smoothly, completed in two days, job looks fantastic like a new house. would recommend to others.

UPDATE: After the many problems encountered early on, I worked directly with the owner of Rapid Roofing & Restoration to have the remainder of the work on our house completed. Wayne was great, he worked to turn around the poor image that his representative/employee gave his company. I was pleased with his consistent communication and professionalism. All work was completed as agreed. We were also compensated for minor drywall damage that occurred when they were installing the siding. If my experience had been like this from the beginning, Rapid Roofing & Restoration would have earned an "A" rating. The "B" rating is reflective of the early difficulties I encountered that simply could not be ignored. I received a flyer from Rapid Roofing & Restoration in the mail but decided to contact them based on reviews on Angie's List. I am very sorry that I did. It has now been 6 weeks and the work is still incomplete! We had an appointment to meet with James on 11/15 and he missed the appointment. I called 30-45 minutes after he was due to arrive to inquire and we rescheduled for the next day. Contract was signed on 11/16/2012 and a post dated check was given for deposit with promise that it would be held until the following Friday (November 23rd) to allow adequate time for the insurance check to clear my bank. Check was deposited IMMEDIATELY and cleared my bank 3 days prior to post date on check. I was told that they would "make it up to me"... but promises made were immediately forgotten. After signing contract, I tried to pin down a start date. I was originally told that work would begin the week following Thanksgiving and that it would take two days to complete the job (one day for roofing, a second day for siding and gutters/downspouts), but that was pushed back to the following week because others were scheduled before me. My start date was then further delayed by rain and the roof was finally completed on December 5th. The roof work was completed in one day but roofing material was left on my driveway. I contacted James the following afternoon when the material remained in my driveway and no one had been out to complete the job (siding and gutters/downspouts) and he indicated that it must have been a "miscommunication" that the work would be completed (weather permitting) on back-to-back days. He said the that the remainder of the work would be finished the following week and that he would be out the following day to pick up the remaining material from my driveway. He didn't arrive for actual pick-up until Saturday 11/8. A few days later, my neighbor noticed a hammer had been left by roofers on my chimney and I had to make contact to have them come retrieve the hammer. I have made several contact attempts since then to check on the status of the remainder of the contracted work. Communication has been HORRIBLE! Messages are left and go unreturned and promises to check on something and call back are unfulfilled. On the rare occasion I do speak with James, he is unable to tell me when work will finally be completed and has cited things like being unable to get the necessary amount of matching siding to complete ONE side of my house and has indicated that he doesn't know why the gutters and downspouts aren't yet complete, but that they have been out twice (I was NEVER advised that the appointments had even been scheduled) but unable to work due to rain. I was also told that other previously scheduled work would not be postponed and that I would need to be scheduled on a free day, yet I can't get him to tell me which day that would be. I would understand work being postponed due to rain/weather if it had actually been scheduled. James has also been unable to give me any information on how long my siding will be on backorder. All I am getting is excuse after excuse and no real action. Six weeks should be more than ample time to complete this job. I am very frustrated and highly disappointed to have such a negative experience with an "A" rated company.

It was quite painless. Our complete roof job from the first meeting with company rep to actual completion was one week. The actual roofing project took only one day. Cleaned up the yard really well. Had a few bumps and dents that were taken care right away. Very professional.

They did a good job, and my roof is doing well.

We liked Rapid Restoration, Inc. There is nothing particular that stands out about them. They were good with their pricing and quality of work. Their responsiveness and punctuality are good as well. We would consider them again if needed.

The owner was pretty nice and calm about things. He was easy to work with. I had one instance with them that was a problem.

It was an excellent experience with them. They did everything from moving flower pots and furniture and covered and protected items around the home that could not be moved. The crews worked as a team and was very professional. We could not have hired better crews ourselves. I can't say enough of how happy we are.

We had several estimates of which there was a different opinion and price on each one. Rapid Roofing was the only one that said anything about hail damage. They also said that the homeowners insurance may cover all or part of the re-roof. Wayne was the gentleman that we conversed with and he meet with our insurance adjuster and they both inspected the roof together. The insurance adjuster was agreeable with Wayne and paid for the entire re-roof. Wayne had his entire crew there on the day he said and they removed and replaced the whole roof including the new decking and everything he had put in the estimate in one day which included removing the old roof and cleaning up around the entire house. This crew worked all day without breaks to rest or eat lunch. They did not finish till about dark but they did finish. We had a hard rain in the next few days of about 3 inches and so far there is no sign of any leaks. The workers were very good and you could tell, this was not the first roof they had done. There experience showed. It has only been a week since the roof was installed and should we experience any problems later, I will add them to this evalution but as it stands now, I would recomend this company.

I have not had any problem with the roof. I called them as he told me there were things needed to be checked out and needed to be corrected. They gave me a date when they would be here and they never showed up and I have not heard anything from them.

It was excellent. The price was right. At the time when they came out and gave me an estimate, it was over a year before, but it had been over a year and they went ahead and honored the originally estimate for me. They cleaned up everything and explained everything to me.

Work was completed very quickly, within 3 days after contract was signed. The crew worked very quickly and the roof and siding look great. They also did a very good job cleaning up all debris. I would definitely use again.

I had been gone for about two weeks after the roof was replaced and when I came back I had noticed some leaking in my house. My dining room wall was sagging and had a leak from the ceiling and there was a leak by my fireplace. They came back to repair the roofing around the chimney, however, they didn't fix any of the leaking on the interior of the house. I called 4-5 times and talked to a man named Wayne. He keeps telling me that Jimmy will return and has never showed.

The repair to our roof was done quickly and professionally. The majority of the work was completed in one day with a few smaller repairs (flashing, etc.) being completed the next. The subcontract for the windows, through Mr. Glass I believe, took a few additional phone calls to schedule and to ''remind'' to complete the work they had begun. Rapid Restoration was helpful in arranging for their subcontractor to complete this work.
