Parrish Concrete Construction

We formed our new driveway ourselves, but needed someone to pour and finish. I called Les and he asked me to call back a few days before we needed his services to confirm the date. We set the time for the concrete delivery for 8AM on Thursday. He came by on Wednesday afternoon to check out the project and offered some tips to make things easier. For example, he suggested using some spikes for our forming instead of wooden stakes. This made things so much easier. At 8 on Thursday, the concrete arrived, but Les and his crew were running a few minutes behind, so we got a little worried. These worries were soon dismissed when they got there. It was Les, his brother, and one other guy. They took charge and spread the concrete very quickly. Les knew his stuff and was able to accurately estimate and order the required amount of concrete. The concrete truck put a huge rut in the dirt, but the guys were quick to suggest a remedy and fixed everything and were quickly back on track. They were hard working and did not stop. It took a total of about 4 hours from start to finish. They knew what they were doing and timed everything perfectly so there was almost no time wasted. We were very impressed at how effortless they made the job look. They put a brush finish with "picture framing" on the concrete and it looks really nice. Les came back a few hours later to seal coat the concrete. They then returned the following day to cut joint lines after the concrete had hardened up some. I was originally planning on doing the job myself but am very glad I had these guys do the job instead. Turned out great.
