In general the process went well and the convenience of on site repair would convince us to use them again. However a two week expected delivery turned into a four week timeline, and we were only made aware of the issue and delay by us making the call instead of them contacting us. Both the inspection visit and the installation visit were over an hour later the scheduled time but the technician did call a short time before his arrival. The repair job will require us to make some cosmetic repairs to the window and also fix a couple missing nails.

Windows were good quality and workmanship was good. Took longer than expected to get a call back and to get the work completed but I know they had to order the windows or glass.

Glass Doctor did a stellar job for us, which was a very good thing since we had met with five companies about this job with only two ultimately sending us a quote for the type of work we requested. From our very first call, we were impressed by their attention to detail, prompt follow-through on everything they promised to do along the way, and true care for us as customers — so refreshing in this age of mediocre customer service! And when a snafu occurred on the part of the out-of-town manufacturer who had to custom-cut our windows, the husband and wife who own the local franchise kept us in the communication loop big-time. We knew they genuinely regretted the inconvenience of having to reschedule given the time delay caused by the snafu. As for the installation itself, the glass fit perfectly (not easy since they were oddly-shaped) and the crew worked diligently to save/reuse the original trim so that the final result matched other windows in our older home. Hands down, we’ll call Katie and Josh the next time we have glass-related needs. They exemplify local small business owners who not only care deeply about the quality of their work but also the relationships they develop with their customers.

I would not recommend this provider after my last windshield replacement. Below are items that went wrong and corrective actions: Cut on the inside trim molding on the passenger side. (Glass doctor replaced this molding) Stain of black adhesive on headliner in car. (Glass doctor tried to clean, large wet stain from cleaner, black spot is still visible) Windshield Rain Sensor was not installed properly, Glass doctor lost the retaining clip. (i ordered a new one and will replace) Trim for rear-view mirror was not installed properly (glass doctor tried to get it corrected, however still not clipping in properly) Trim on outside of window was not installed properly. (i took a picture of correct placement, went back to glass doctor and the fixed) adhesive residue and small pieces broken glass were left inside the car after replacement (i vacuumed it out)

My window got chipped/cracked from a rock and I had to have it replaced again. I took it back to Glass Doctor, and they replaced it for FREE since it was within the one year timeframe. Very pleased with this company. Will definitely use again if need be.
