DOUBLE R CHEM-DRY

I've always like the Chem-Dry process (works well, dries quickly, etc) and so I'd probably hire this company anyway, but I have to take a minute and just rave about the owner. He's a true professional ... timely, punctual, responsive, conscientious, and very thorough.

The carpet cleaning went very well. Everything that was necessary was explained. Questions were responded to courteously and professionally with a great deal of knowledge and experience behind the answers.

For the record, I'm one of those reviewers that just doesn't give out many and quot;A'sand quot;. If a company delivers what I paid for (and what they promised), then they tend to earn a and quot;Band quot;. I reserve the and quot;A'sand quot; for those organizations and individuals that take extra time to explain to me what they're doing and how they charge, that do excellent work, that provide an especially good value for my money, or that solve an especially complex problem for me. In other words, companies earn an and quot;Aand quot; from me if they truly go above and beyond. I've had Chem-Dry do several jobs for me in the last several years and am completely impressed! When I booked them for this most recent job, the scheduler worked very patiently with me until we found a time that fit into my crazy schedule. Rick showed up on time, measured every room, and provided a very thorough overview of their different cleaning options (all stuff I would expect). In addition, however, he also walked me around with a black light and showed me particular problem areas (I have a cat and am generally very persnickety about pet odors) and also showed me those areas that were NOT problems (i.e. areas where I thought there might be pet stains, but there were not.) I especially appreciated Rick's flexibility after beginning the work. It occured to me (after he had already started cleaning) that I should probably get the hallway carpet runner done as well as a small area rug. He easily added those on, didn't charge me any more, and was still done on time. He offered some helpful guidance on how to treat stains and left me a free little bottle of their stain remover (which rocks!). I also really like the Chem-Dry process itself. Rick came and left within about 2 hours and the carpet was dry about two hours later (on a day when it was really hot and humid). I'm a big fan of companies that do good work and that don't waste my time ... and Chem-Dry/Rick were great on both counts. Well done!

My husband and I just purchased a home and wanted to have the basement carpet thoroughly cleaned since we will be using it as a play area for our 2 month old daughter. The woman I spoke with on the phone to make the appointment was very pleasant and was able to schedule a time that fit my needs. Rick arrived on time and walked through the space and then my options for cleaning. I chose the Healthy Home service since there had been pets and spills on the carpet prior to our purchase. He then immediately began cleaning. He was extremely thorough and got all the stains out. I especially liked that their products are kid and pet friendly and it was dry after only a couple of hours. In addition, Rick took readings of the moisture level both in the basement and the main floor because he knew I was concerned with this.

Did a great job in cleaning. Even removed several stains on the carpet.
