Two professional installers arrived on-time, performed their work, cleaned up the area and hauled away all debris. The new door has worked flawlessly for the past three months.

Description of Work: I was very pleased with the work they did, change rollers, oiled parts, and other minor stuff. They had to order the weather stripping for me for the garage door, and will be back to install that. I was very impressed, on how trustworthy they were, that they didn't want payment for work that was done, He mentioned when he comes to install weather-stripping to pay then.. The young man, knew his stuff, and explained what he was doing, and what needed to be done & what would need to be replaced down the line. Never was there a push to replace now or try selling me on stuff. I was extremely please with the service.

Description of Work: Bruce's Garage Doors replaced the motor and drive train and re-calibrated the springs on our main garage door, and also inspected our second garage door for similar wear. They confirmed our suspicion that the main door had not been calibrated properly following a spring replacement by a different company roughly two years ago. The other company had insisted nothing was wrong, despite a dramatic change in the motor noise and other issues that arose immediately following their repair. The other company made one reluctant follow up, for which they wanted $90 although they waived the fee that "one time" when I protested. Bruce's has promised to come out again gratis if we have any trouble with their installation, and their basic rate is $75. Overall, they were more efficient, friendly and informed. I will call them again for future repairs.

Description of Work: We needed someone to help open the garage door as we had locked ourselves out. We have an external garage with no way in unless we have our remotes. Those remotes were locked inside the garage. So they came and helped release the manual switch to disengage the drive.

Description of Work: From the time I called them to the time that they left after replacing my garage door opener was under three hours. I would hire them again at any time. Father and son worked well together and got the job done and were very pleasant to work with.

The gentleman who answered the phone listened to my problem and , instead of making a costly service call, coached me through what I could do to fix the problem. I had called him because the first service company I contacted told me the door opener would have to be replaced. Although I paid him $70 just for the service I remembered Bruce from a former time. Yes , he saved himself some trouble but he helped me out of a spot which I appreciated. Not everyone would have done that

Description of Work: Bruce Garage Door sales and SVC came out to repair my garage door since it wasn't opening properly.

Description of Work: My garage door opener had died. They came and replaced it with a brand named Lift Master. It is far superior to my previous opener. The options are for a belt or chain operated mechanism. The belt option was $10 more, but I selected it and I'm very glad I did. It is so quiet. And the belt has a lifetime warranty. Also, my door is a wooden decorative door and quite expensive. They checked and tightened all the bolts holding the sections together and put a new piece on that attaches the door to the lift so the door actually raises all the way up. Before, the bottom section of the door drooped and when you raised the rear door on my Buick Enclave, it hit the bottom of the garage door. There is plenty of clearance now. The also checked all the track and rollers and oiled the rollers. They also installed a keyless entry pad for me at a real bargain. The door did not have the laser safety beam along the bottom, and that was added too, so all is legally compliant now. Real gentlemen and very professional.
