After cleaning he sent me a bill for $125 and then 3 months later sent another bill for $175 for stretching the carpet. This was totally unacceptable and unethical because he never mentioned the separate cost for stretching. It did not take more than 15 minutes for Carpet Stretching. I could have done the same job for less than $ 200 with other professional carpet cleaners.

We have used Bloomington Professional Carpet Cleaners for all of the 23 years we have lived in this house. The carpet was 3 years old when we moved in, and has never been changed. It looks almost brand new. That's partly because the previous owner, who built the house, put in high-quality carpeting. But we attribute most of the reason the carpet has lasted so long to Bloomington Professional Carpet Cleaners. We have had them in twice a year, without fail, and whenever we've needed a special cleaning because of a spill, for example. We cannot recommend them more highly: they are, as the name says, professional. They arrive on time, move whatever furniture needs moving, carefully place barriers underneath the feet of large pieces, and do their work efficiently. And the prices have always been fair. We recommend them to all of our friends.

This is the 5th time we have had this provider do our carpets. They do an excellent job for a reasonable price.

The cleaner arrived five minutes earlier than expected and was done in less than hour, allowing me to get to work on time. The carpet took a little over 24 hours to dry in a poorly ventilated basement room, but looked great when dry.

The week before moving in to my new home I decided I wanted the carpets cleaned. I was able to book an appointment with Bloomington Professional on very short notice. I arrived a few minutes before the scheduled time to find them already on the site and ready to go. Some negotiation with other trucks (roofers) for space in the driveway was necessary, and this was all accomplished in a friendly and professional way. The cleaning job itself was very well done over the course of about an hour. The carpeting - old and worn, and stained with furniture polish, among other things - looked great afterwards. They got all the stains out, and no stains reappeared when the carpet dried, so they really did get it clean. Scotchgard protection was offered, but I declined it since I'm planning to replace the carpeting soon anyway. No problem, no hard sell. There was also no strong detergent smell or fragrance left in the carpet, and I appreciated that. I had gotten an estimate over the phone, and that's the price I ended up paying. It was entirely worth it.
