I can't speak to the quality of work done on the women's garments, but the launder/press done on the mens shirts was terrible. The pressing was inconsistent and sloppy and two of the four shirts had buttons broken off the cuff. One shirt had a big crease running diagonally across the front, the overall quality of the pressing was very poor. It takes a significant effort or a great deal of complete indifference to do a relatively simple job this poorly. It's apparent that they simply didn't care enough to do the task the right way. Under no circumstances will Bloomington Cleaners get any more of my business.

I moved to Bloomington recently due to an advance in my career. My professional wardrobe is very important for my job and I had difficulty finding a quality drycleaner in Bloomington, IN. I was referred to Bloomington Cleaners by the CEO of my employer. Bloomington Cleaners were friendly and professional. They provided a detailed, itemized list of my clothing and cost of each item -- at drop-off! When I picked up my drycleaning, it was ready on time, smelled fresh, was nicely pressed and each item was on a hanger in a new, plastic bag covering. Also, the total cost was accurate. I am very pleased and I have already returned twice for more dry-cleaning. The prices are much lower than I expected for such good service!

I have been completely satisfied at Bloomington Cleaners 95% of the time. Good things first: they're prompt, they have never lost anything of mine or ruined any clothing irreparably (but see below); clean clothes are clean and without any chemical smell. Once I took a dressy raincoat in to be cleaned, and an employee called me to say they would not clean it in the usual way because it would ruin the water-shedding finish. I returned to the shop to pick up my coat, and the employee (manager, maybe?) explained more fully about the finish on the coat, and then offered to steam-clean the spot I indicated. They did this for free, my coat was both clean and still rain-resistant, and I was very happy. However. Another time, I took a suit (dress & jacket) for cleaning and picked it up on my way out of town to a job interview. When I put the suit on, I discovered the the jacket lining was ripped out and hanging all along the back hem, so the suit was unwearable. The cleaner couldn't have NOT seen this when they pressed the suit. Not only did they damage my clothing, they neither fixed it nor mentioned it when I picked it up and paid for it. This was totally unacceptable -- but I was 600 miles away and could not do anything about it except make a desperate search for a tailor. So - mostly good experiences with this cleaner, but one incident which, while not irreparable, REALLY ruined my day.
