Artisan Masonry Inc

These were recommended to me by a friend. I called twice, left messages, got no response. I called a third time and got a mobile phone that screeched, unintelligible. Called again and left a message and a nice young fella called back on another bad phone, took my information and told me that he couldn't schedule a time to look at my place but that someone would get back to me. I've heard nothing since 10.05.17. They must have too much work. Or ... something.

I asked for an estimate on repairing a retaining wall. Someone came out to inspect the site, and though the person arrived on an unexpected day and time, which I didn't like, overall the person who came out seemed really professional, competent, and relatable. I was thinking this was going to be a good experience. But... they never called or emailed an estimate. I have called and left messages multiple times over the last 11 days, and yet have heard nothing from them.

I called Artisan for an estimate on a masonry project. He promised an estimate and a week later I called to remind him. He looked at the exterior site while I was not home and sent an estimate. There was no personal contact. Price was higher than the price of the firm Infinally chose. The firm I chose came to see the site, explained what he would do, had a reasonable price and did the job well.

They were fantastic. They will be doing the work and are coming out this week to take pictures of the chimney to try and match the brick. The person I spoke to were very professional. The previous owners had also gotten an estimate from them so when I called they let me know they had been there the day before for an estimate. What I liked most is that he was pretty clear about wanting to do the job right not just patch the job. My dad is a masonry contractor and had already spoke to him. everything my dad matched what he said to adequately fix the problem.

This was to satisfy a condition on an offer for our house. Rain delayed the work, but Kane King was willing to rework his schedule in order to complete the work in time for closing. The work was top notch - the inspector said it was one of the better job's he's seen.

Kane came to look at the job, took measurements and left, but did not seem interested in asking me any questions. Before he left, I gave him my email address to which he would send the quote. I waited a week before calling to follow up; I called and left a voicemail and waited another week. I called and left another voicemail after the second week of not receiving a quote. Almost a month later I receive an email from Kane asking and quot;Do you still need a price on the wall? I apologize for the delay. Thanks, Kaneand quot; to which I responded immediately and I haven't heard from him since. It is now the end of October I have not received a quote and I will not be using Artisan Masonry for any work I need done. Nor will I recommend them to anyone who asks. If a job is too small, or if they're busy, they need to be better about communicating that, so that homeowners like myself don't have to waste our time.

Kane and his crew were prompt,efficient and did a great job on my wall. They were able to blend the new wall in with the still standing wall and it all looks great.The wall withstood a tornado blown tree falling on it a month after completion with only a chipped capstone to show for it.

I think I got them off of Angie's List. Their service was excellent. It took them a while to get to the job. He told me in advance that that would be the case because their work is weather-dependent. When they finally got here, they did a great job. They explained everything. They handled equipment in the driveway and made sure that was okay with me. They asked for my feedback and did a wonderful job of cleaning up. I was very pleased overall.

I THOUGHT THAT THIS COMPANY WAS REALLY GOOD. THEY HAD THE WALL BUILT IN ONLY TWO DAYS. THEY MADE SURE TO CLEAN UP ANY MESS THAT WAS MADE WHEN THEY WERE FINISHED.
