Called for an estimate for installing a new GFCI, removal and installation of two chandeliers. I received the estimate the same day with an installation date and time. The cost was what I expected. A chandelier was installed in the entryway that was 2 1/2 stories high. Excellent work and cleanup. I will use the company in the future for my electrical needs.

Eric was very nice, very friendly, and very helpful! He was able to come out to the house to check out the problem very quickly. He actually had to come out twice, but that was my fault. Both times, however, he arrived exactly when he said he would and called ahead to let me know he was on his way. While he worked on the problem, he gave me a lot of advice for preventing future problems and what to do if they came up. He solved the problem right away and then made some adjustments to the equipment so that I wouldn't have any future problems. I also had him consult on another project I am considering doing, and he had a lot of good ideas. Without a doubt I will call Eric again for any electrical issues I have. It's good to know there is someone out there who cares enough to take his time with the customer and explain everything and really wants to do a good job for you.

It went perfectly. I found Absolute Electric and Eric Hanson via Angie's List. He returned my initial call promptly, and maintained excellent communication throughout the project. There was some coordination involved with the oven retailer's install schedule, and Eric smoothly integrated his piece in preparation for the installation. He answered all my questions. A job very well-done; very 'professional'. I'll certainly call him again when I need electrical work, and I recommend him to others highly. Very satisfied.

Eric's bid was substantially higher than the other one, but I hired him because he asked all kinds of questions about how I was planning to use the patio. In the process, I realized that I had over-looked many things, such as the fact that I didn't want to tip-toe through the flower bed in order to plug in my fountain. So he installed a switch for it. I never thought about that. He asked about the table and how I was planning to use it, and I immediately knew that additional outlets were needed there. These things could not have been corrected later, since concrete was poured over most of the area. He threw out some wonderful suggestions and saved me from what would have been a big disappointment later.

He showed up when he said he would, was fully prepared to execute the work, and did it efficiently and with n fuss. He made a few recommendations on a few improvements, and followed through. He worked so well, he was nearly invisible.

When I called, he was at lunch in Indianapolis. He had the problem in Bloomington fixed in a couple of hours. Tenant reported light fixture socket sparking. He was going to install a new light fixture which he picked up on the way over. Turned out to be a ceiling fan which he was able to repair by removing the faulty light socket. Very responsive, reasonable and pleasant to work with.

Eric was a pleasure to deal with - on time, professional and priced fairly. I am very happy with the completed work and will not hesitate to call him again when needed.

All of the wiring was corrected. He even took photos of the incorrect wiring. He installed 2 outdoor lights, a dedicated line from the fuse box to the jacuzzi tub, turned 2 independent hallway lights on each end of the hallway to 1 circuit with switches at either end of the hall. Installed GFCI outlets. Corrected improperly wired switches and outlets. He found several dangerous and improper connections and junctions and re-wired all of them. Then, when all of the corrections were finished, he installed 6 wireless smoke/fire detectors throughout the house. I cannot say enough about his work and professionalism. We had several problems that were caused by a previous contractor that if not addressed, could have caused wires to melt or worse. I cannot thank Eric enough for helping us with all of this.

The water heater stopped working about 8:00pm. I called Absolute Electric expecting to get an answering machine. Instead they answered and said they would come first thing in the morning. He arrived on time and determined that the water heater was fine but the circuit breaker for it was bad. He had one with him and replaced it and checked and tightened all the other breakers too. Everything went very smoothly and professionally. Highly recommend.

I called Absolute Electric & Maintenance, LLC and spoke with Eric. Eric came out the same day to give me an estimate on some electric work. I had just purchased an older home built in 1971 that is in need of serious updating. Not only did Eric give me a very reasonable estimate on the electrical work but also gave me some very good advice on other projects that I want to do in the home. Since I am new to the area, Eric told me of a hardware store close by that sells a hard to find tool that works wonders on taking old paneling off the walls. I got the tool and sure enough it works great. When Eric came out to do the electrical work he worked very efficiently and made sure everything was cleaned up before he left. My brother in law works with an electrician and he was surprised at how reasonable Eric's prices were and what a great job he did for the price. I will most definitely call Eric again soon for more work that I need done to my home.

Eric is always very professional in everything he does. Once we settled on a date he was there. Used his head in deciding how to connect the thermostat on a electric floor heater. Always cleans up after himself and just goes about his business efficiently.

Responded quickly. Very professional. Worked efficiently. Chose to do the best possible things as opposed to the quickest route. Ran into some minor problems with the outdoor fixtures but handled them well. I thought his pricing was very reasonable, and I'm not sure that I have ever said that about another electrician. Eric has my work in the future.

My wife and I found Eric via Angie's List and called him out to give me an estimate on some electrical repairs and installation of a few outlets as well as some deck repairs. I was also looking for a little masonry work and Eric was very forthright in saying that he didn't think he had the expertise to do it right, but he gave me the name of someone who could. I also called out a contractor from a chain company for the electrical work to get a second quote. The guy from the chain company looked at my situation, noted some hazards in our breaker box and quoted me about a $800 price tag. Eric came out, noted the same hazards and fixed them on the spot. He then quoted me a price about half what the other guy did, and that was including the deck work. Between his friendly nature, reasonable price and unwillingness to take on work he didn't think he could do well, there was no debate in picking Eric for our job. I should note that our labor prices were probably a little lower than would be usual for this work, due to the fact that each outlet was being installed via a room that was unfinished (partially finished basement). In a finished room, I'd expect anyone to take more time to run the wires. When he came out to do the work, he was not only punctual and professional, but friendly and efficient as he went above and beyond. He noted that one of the outlets was going to be run through our unfinished furnace room, which had no lights installed, and that it would be easy to install one while he was running line. For $15 in parts and less than an hour of his time, I now have a light in my furnace room that I never even thought to ask for (but definitely wanted!) He also added a bonus outlet to our storage room, largely because it would be easy to do so. When it came to the deck work, he took care to do the job as effectively as possible. He didn't settle for good enough, bolting the deck to the bandboard, but made sure that he was hitting the joists to give the screws as much purchase as possible. Eric is not only efficient and very reasonably priced, but very friendly. While he was doing this work, I was replacing our smoke detectors and he never complained as I hit the "Test" button over and over as I switched out each one. Eric came in on time and on budget all the while delivering very high quality work that went above and beyond in multiple ways. I've already requested some estimates for future work and he's going to be at the top of my list for any future handyman or electrical needs.

I chose Eric to do the work based on a previous job he did to install an under-cabinet kitchen light. Eric was on time and quoted a fair estimate for both jobs. We scheduled a time to do the work. Eric was on time and finished the job in less time than estimated and under budget. He was careful to cover furniture to avoid any damage. He is very personable, fair and accurate with his estimates and does excellent work. I wanted dimmers for the fan lights. Eric suggested a switch for me to purchase and installed it in the ceiling with the fans. Worked perfectly. I will definitely use Eric again for any electrical and maintenance work in my home.
