I cannot recommend Eric and his team enough! My husband and I bought an old home, and during the purchasing process we discovered that it still had its original knob and tube (fire hazard) wiring. A coworker of mine immediately recommended I reach out to Eric. I have a sticky past with dodgy electricians, so I was really worried about this part of the repair work. The first time Eric impressed us was during the quote process; he went out to the house to see what all needed done, but further, he was friendly to and spoke with the before-us homeowners, so he was able to learn about other issues going on with the house that our real estate agent hadn't been successful in discovering. Eric gave us an accurate quote, explained the work he would need to do in detail such that we could discuss it adequately during negotiations and closing, and he was able to alert us towards things that might become a problem later on down the line. The second time he impressed us was during the actual work, when he was kind, gentle, and considerate with our two cats. The eldest normally hates strangers, but he was especially taken with Eric, and followed him around the house trying to play during his last day on the project. It means a lot to not have stressed out cats to deal with during a big repair project like this! The third big impression was the work that he and Juan performed - it was exceptional! They took the time to clean up after themselves each day, they asked questions to meet our needs for each switch/outlet/fan/light, and they really went the extra mile to plan ahead for the future of the home as well, in case we ever wanted to upgrade a light to a fan, required additional outlets, etc. They were also very clear about what costs were included in the quote and what would be additional, so we felt fully aware of the price tag as the project progressed, which was very important to us as we are strictly budgeting multiple repairs. We finally feel safe in our new-to-us old home, and beyond that, we have a newfound ease of access, no longer stumbling through rooms in the dark to turn on a switch on the opposite wall - he thought of everything for us, including things we didn't know to ask. On the last day, he even walked me through the house to show all the updates and explain things thoroughly, since I had been at work through the rewiring process. It was an 'Absolute' pleasure to work with Eric, we strongly recommend him to anyone needing electrical work, and we look forward to working with him again on our future projects.

I was told by the City to bring all the smoke alarms in my rental house to code by hard-wiring them. My handyman said I would need to hire a professional. So I looked up Angie's list and found Eric's company. I called Eric and he was able to swing by in 10 minutes. I had never gotten any kind of technician to come within 10 minutes! He came back in a week with his crew and performed a great job. He was very knowledgeable about all the legal safety requirements. My house was very old and did not allow all the smoke alarms to be installed 100% to code. So Eric had to be creative. He called the Building Department of the City to make sure his adaptations were OK, so I would not have to fail the inspection later. The crew spent the whole day and finished the job nicely. He charged me the exact amount on the estimate, even with the complications. Before they left, Eric noticed the front screen door was not shut tight. So he put in a screw for me and fixed the door. That was not even part of the job on the agreement! I give Eric my wholehearted recommendation. I will definitely call them next time I need an electrician!

Eric and an assistant split up the work so that Eric could look at a number of problems on this first visit. The motion-sensor light was installed, and Eric was able to fix an outlet and give us advice on some other problems during that same visit. It was a very efficient way to work, and in fact Eric had already saved me time and money by advising me over the phone on which motion-sensor light to buy in advance.

Eric was very professional, knowledgeable and polite. He did not hesitate to recommend and use a different type of supply part that would avoid problems in the future. We highly recommend him and will not hesitate to call on him for any future electrical needs for our home.

Will hire this company next time I need something w/o hesitation. Eric and his asst. Juan are some of the most professional people I have every had the pleasure of working with.

Eric and his assistant tackled a job few other electricians would have tried. We have a vaulted ceiling (24 ft) and he had the experience and right equipment. Eric is a stickler for safety and follows State codes in all installations. In the process, he found and eliminated a potential life threatening situation that we were unaware of. We've hired Absolute Electrical in the past and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to our friends.

Eric and his crew were wonderful to work with. Eric made sure that he brought my entire house up to code. He asked before doing any additional work that needed to be done to get my permission to replace items that had not originally been on the work plan. It is clear that Eric keeps on top of the latest technology and codes. I would recommend him for anyone looking at quality service and an electrician that shows great care in his work.

Eric was prompt, professional, and polite. He showed me that the wires were old and had been poorly run in the first place -- he wasn't upselling me, it was obvious that he was right about what needed to be done. He also recommended a circuit breaker box in place of the original fuse box. He said he would need to subcontract the work, but that he'd worked with that contractor before, and his standards were up to his own. They were prompt, pleasant, and professional. The work was done extremely well and the site left tidy. I have no doubt it was a valuable improvement to the property. The bill was actually less than Eric's estimate -- he definitely underpromised and overdelivered. I have no doubt that I will call Absolute the next time one of my properties needs electrical work -- including my residence, which seriously needs rewiring. Absolute Electric will get the job.

Eric has done several jobs for us. He is meticulous and does everything to code. He is an extremely ethical and very pleasant person. Our house is older and was built in a unique way, which poses challenges for contractors doing work for us. Eric always finds a way to get it done. He keeps us informed along the way regarding what he is doing, what options we have in the way the work is done and what the cost may be if it is more than originally expected. He is always happy to answer questions and is a good person to bounce home improvement ideas off of.

Eric arrived on time, went about the work in a professional manner, and did all the work requested. Very professional, and the work done to the meter with the added conduit made a very unattractive service look neat and improved the looks of the meter and wiring outside of the house. He does all work to code, and now we feel the safety of electrical service is top notch. We definitely plan to call him anytime we need electrical work.

Eric did an absolutely fantastic job with everything. He arrived right on time for both days of the job, always made sure to ask what we wanted before making any irreversible decisions, and was always quite friendly and pleasant. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again, or recommend him to others.

I was very satisfied with their work. They were professional and helpful. It was between $200 & $300. I was pleased with them because they were able to come out quickly from the time I made contact with them and come out there. One of the factors I selected in picking them was because they were able to come and get the job done sooner than later.

Eric was great - he clearly communicated his plan when we met for a quote, and continued good communication through the scheduling process. He scheduled with the electric company to disconnect and connect power to the house, got the permit and scheduled with the inspector. Day of, he arrived early to do some prep work that required electricity, worked efficiently through the day (even with 100 degree heat index) and even finished early. Everything was done, just as he explained, and there were no surprises.

Great. Eric came the same day I called because the dark front porch was a hazard with its steep steps. He also repaired the garage light as well. He has an entire hardware store in his truck, so he had everything he needed. I just wish I had discovered him sooner.

Everything went great. All the work looks great and is functioning well. Very satisfied customer once again. Eric is very professional and cordial. There was a limited time window where the work needed done and he me the deadline. Just Awesome!

When Eric Hanson came out, he dropped everything to squeeze us into his schedule. We had serious issues with defective wiring in the meter, which would have likely turned into a serious house fire. Originally the schedule allowed an installation the next day, but like I said, he squeezed us in, and we were good to go in a short while. Cheers to he and his team. AEM repaired incorrectly wired GFCI outlets in our kitchen. I called them late in the afternoon after being told by another company that they were unavailable for three weeks. AEM stopped by that evening and fixed the problem, despite being behind. I appreciated the prompt and personable service and look forward to hiring AEM again for my household electrical repairs, upgrades, and fixture replacements.
