He was professional from start to finish, and even went above and beyond what we called him for. We definitely plan on using him again in the future for any electrical jobs we might have.
Description of Work: Checked wiring in bedrooms before insulation was installed. Also checked how a bathroom fan ventilation was working.

 + 4 moreEric was great throughout the project. He was very punctual and professional. If he saw something that he was worried about jeopardizing the quality of the end result, he told us and allowed us to make the decision. His creativity in taking our ideas of a simple pantry and converting them into a beautiful custom cabinet won him our business amongst our other bids. Another thing I appreciate is that he will sub-contract out work that he feels someone else would perform better. For example, there was a lot of drywall work that needed to be done and so he brought in a drywall expert to perform this work. I appreciate the honesty because it leads to the best possible end result. We couldn't be happier with how the cabinets turned out and would recommend Absolute Electric to anyone, and we'll be using him again if we have any future projects.
Description of Work: The job involved converting a coat closet into a kitchen pantry. This involved removing and walling over the existing door to the closet and framing a new entry from the other wall. After speaking with Eric, we decided to upgrade and he designed 2 custom cabinet units to serve as a pantry. He performed all of the framing for the new cabinets and contracted out the actual cabinet fabrication. While framing for the cabinets, Eric realized that our floor was sagging and that he would not be able to properly install the cabinets because he worried that the floor would continue to sag. He installed a floor joist in the basement to ensure that the floor would not sag. He installed the cabinets without a hitch and they look fantastic.

Very professional and friendly. And a really smart guy. We;ll call him back next time.

 + -1 moreEric arrived promptly and stayed the day. He even worked well into dinner time so he could finish the current task at hand. He is a perfectionist and did not want to leave the first set of wiring incomplete. He never left the house or project so we didn't have our internet or cable tv. He came the next day and started at 8:30 and worked through until about 4:30, we were able to help him with some of the wiring as it saved him some time and effort while teaching us how to get some things done. He was willing to answer questions as he went and was open to workarounds when the original plan did not work. The project itself took a bit longer than Eric had originally estimated but again, required a workaround that caused a delay.
Description of Work: We needed CAT6 and Cable/Sat TV wired throughout the house. Some rooms had no cable or ethernet outlets at all and Eric was able to wire exactly as my husband wanted. Eric did a wonderful job and even went a bit further by including and extra CAT6 for our phone just in case my husband might decide he wanted it at a later time. He understood our needs and requests and didn't mind us helping and learning throughout the process.

 + -1 moreEric responded promptly to review project and estimated time to complete. We had a little problem scheduling the work, but it was due to weather delays - lots of rain. He recruited another person to help with the back gutter since it was a 2 person job. He scheduled the second trip for 7 am to meet our work schedules.
Description of Work: Moved an outdoor light from wall to ceiling keeping the switch in the same place; disabled and removed old wires; fixed and caulked boards that were damaged in removal of front porch/stoop (not his work); replaced flashing on corners of roof/gutters to stop overflow of water during rain; and moved a gutter that had been hit back in place and replaced end of gutter. All work was done well and Eric cleared all questions with me before proceeding.

 + -1 moreWe purchased a home built in 1959 with all original electrical wiring and fixtures. Eric rewired the entire place from top to bottom tayloring to all of our desires along the way. He is very flexible and did not flinch when we made last minute changes. He pays careful attention to details like the best colors for switch plates, making sure the receptacles are safe for our three year old and labeling our new fuse box. He cleaned up with his shop vac at the end of each day. Our house is up to the most recent electrical codes and we feel much safer now. Eric is not difficult to get in contact with however he does keep a busy schedule which means he may not get to you right away. I would not consider using any other electrician for future projects on our home.
Description of Work: Rewired entire '59 home. Installed new fuse box, receptacles, light switches, can lights, ceiling fan and outdoor receptacles and lights.

We originally scheduled for 2 days off, then he called back and made himself available in 1 hour, based on the possibly dangerous implications of the arcing that he suspected, correctly, was the problem. I couldn't be more positive about his services, and would recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: Work/replacement/screws tightened/wires reconnected on several boxes and switches that weren't performing properly(Eric will be disappointed that I can't seem to describe in more detail, since he very kindly and clearly explained everything as he was doing it; what wasn't working, what should be done, what is optimal in wiring, etc.).

After replacing the defective meter base, a dangerous condition was found in the service panel. He rearranged his schedule and worked well into the evening to ensure we had power. Throughout the job he was very professional and worked to ensure we were well informed. We would recommend Absolute to anyone requiring electrical work.

Finding the best place to run electricity outside, and from which circuits, took some creative thinking and a lot of problem solving. But this is what Eric does best, and that's why we call him whenever we have a home project. He loves taking on a challenge, and always tackles hurdles like this with an inspiring attitude and deft precision. The lighting looks and works great!
Description of Work: We needed electricity routed to our back porch, with a GFCI switch, light box and lamp fixture installed on one side of the house, and another light box and lamp fixture installed over our garage that connected to the preexisting switches.

When we needed some work done on a strict time-table, Mr Hanson was able to accommodate w/o issue. I cannot recommend Mr Hanson enough for any plumbing, electrical or carpentry needs. He is the epitome of a professional and a *explicit* of a nice guy. I have and will continue to refer Mr Hanson to any local families or businesses that need professional work in electrical, plumbing or carpentry.
Description of Work: Let me preface this by explaining that we had torn our house down to the studs and rafters for a complete remodel/redesign. The house was built in '59 and needed serious updates. The first job Mr. Hanson performed for us was repairing the poor electrical work from the first electrical sub-contractor hired by our General Contractor. He double checked all of the wiring, replaced and repaired what needed to be done and completed the general electrical work in our home. Perfect work. Due to his excellent work, we opted to re-hire Mr. Hanson to install power for our exterior sump pump and finish installing a custom sink (from scratch) that our previous Gen Contractor failed to perform on. Mr Hanson's work was impeccable and efficient. After working on our home, I referred my parents to Mr Hanson when they were in need of some carpentry work on their exposed rafters and crown molding. Once again, impeccable work.
