+ -1 moreThey are very good. I paid them a few dollars more so I had them do a couple of things well over it. They seem to know what they were doing. The garage materials that they used were heavier, stronger and just a little more durable than what I already have. I would recommend them. I would use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I used Garage Door Service Of Indiana Inc big deal purchase about couple of months ago. They took garage door up and down and replaced few of the wheels that runs in the track and they fixed them and we actually push on the wall to open the garage doors.

+ -1 moreThey guys were on time, and fast. Within a little over 2 hours the old door was removed, all new track and hardware was installed and then the door. The new garage door is great! Very quiet. This company I would definatly recommend. They are fast, responsive, and reliable. The arrived when they said they would and the cost was very reasonable for this type and quality of door. Plus they were just nice people.
Description of Work: Garage door was replaced with a double-sided insulated one.

+ -1 moreA cable on one of our doors broke, and I found Garage Door Service in Angie's List, and based on their grade and reviews I called them up. Tim, the owner, and a helper came out today and replaced the cables and springs, along with rollers included in the $99.00 special. They did a great job, and I will have them out again to do the same thing for my other door (same problem).
Description of Work: They replaced rollers, extension springs and cables. They also serviced the opener and door to ensure smooth operation.

+ -1 moreVery quick response to my request. However, they thought that I had called and cancelled, and did not show up when they were supposed to. I called them, and they explained they thought I had cancelled (but it was another client) and came out immediately to help me even though it was pretty late in the afternoon at that time.
Description of Work: My garage door wouldn't close in cold weather by remote. They came out and discovered that my "eyes" were not working properly and replaced them.

+ -1 moreThe torsion spring broke on our garage door Saturday evening. I called Garage Door Service of Indiana Monday morning to schedule a repair. He gave me a quote over the phone for a spring replacement and told me that it would be that afternoon. When I mentioned that I couldn't wait until too late in the day because my car was blocked in the garage, he said he could be there around 12 or 1pm. He called 15 minutes before he showed up like he said he would and he was at my house by 12:30. He fixed the spring and it cost exactly what he said it would. He was very helpful and professional.

+ -1 more.Tim and his helper called ahead as requested, showed up on time and checked the door to determine what problems we had. they then remove the old rollers, realigned the door installed the new upgraded rollers checked the tension on the spring and oiled the spring. They then check the overhead opener to make sure there were no problems with the unit. They gave me some tips on installing a surge protecter to protect the circuit board within that unit from power surges that could potentially destroy the circuit board and cause me to have to replace the overhead unit. I found Tim to be very professional and concerned with during the repair correctly at a fair price. I would recommend his company very highly based on my experience and this service.
Description of Work: Tim and his co-worker checked the door to determine the problem replaced the rollers on both tracks oiled and lubed the spring , checked the tension to ensure it was set correctly and checked the overhead unit to make sure there were no problems that may need attention.

+ -1 moreTim responded quickly to a message I left at their service phone number and scheduled an appointment for the very next day. He called to verify the appointment when they were ready to head my way. Once here he explained clearly but briefly what the problem resolution would be and how much it would cost. My door's main spring had broken and needed to be replaced. In addition he performed several other needed maintenance items which were absorbed in the price he quoted me up front. Overll, I couldn't be more satisfied. Tim installed a heavier duty spring than I originally had on the door to make the garage door opener more effective by taking some of the load off of it. They responded quickly, did the work completely and effectively and at a reasonable price. Very friendly and very knowledgeable folks, I would use them again without hesitation.
Description of Work: They replaced the main spring for my doublewide garage door. They also performed some other maintenance that they noticed was necessary. They did not charge any extra for the miscellaneous items that they attended to.

Description of Work: I did a stupid thing of forgetting to close the back door to our van. I pushed the button to close the garage door and closed the entry door behind me. I heard this weird sound when I was walking to our house, but didn't think anythiing about it. Duh! Later I went back and found out what had happened. The garage door was pushed off track and had bent the metal garage door. (The back door of our van was only slightly damaged.) Through Angie's List I took advantage of a special offer and contacted Garage Door Service of Indiana which is based in Beech Grove. This is close to our home in Irvington. They were able to come the next day. The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to get the door back on track and adusted the coil spring. He was able to hammer and put things back where they needed to be so the garage door could not only work properly but also look like there hadn't been any damage. He was able to cover up my dumb mistake! Originally, I thought that we might have to replace the door, but thanks to the skill of the technician, we didn't have to do that. I would highly recommend Garage Door Service of Indiana.

+ -1 moreWe called Tim for an estimate to repair a garage door that had been hit by someone in a car. The experience with TIm was a good one, and his estimate was competitive. He even bent back a dent in one of the panels that had been hit, which was helpful in closing a gap between panels that was letting cold air into the garage. We decided to use another service provider for reasons that had nothing to do with our experience of Tim or the estimate. We would recommend TIm to others and call him again in the future.

He thoroughly explained what he was doing and our type of garage door opener. He serviced our garage doors (one 2-door garage door and one single garage door) He explained the springs were older, one being original to the door and told me what to look for when problems occur He worked around a car I could not move, without any problems He explained all he was doing and was extremely knowledgable in his work He worked in a timely fashion He was very professional and personable
