CITY DELIVERY/HERZOG PRINCE

Mr. Herzog was very prompt, efficient and very careful in moving my grand piano. He and his helper were very thorough in wrapping the piano carefully, and they were very careful in both the move-out and move-in process not to damage any walls. He knows exactly how to take apart and re-assemble a grand piano and did so with care and efficiency. I have use him for this service in the past, and i highly recommend him.

I sold a piano and gave the piano buyer Mr. Herzog's name and number to contact for moving it. Mr. Herzog was able to do the job the same day he was contacted. Mr. Herzog kept me informed of when he would show up to pick up the piano and he was right on time. The two-men crew moved the piano out of my house very efficiently and delivered to the buyer's house which is about 18 miles way. Since the buyer was to pay for the delivery service, I do not know the charges. The piano buyer later informed me that he was very happy with the delivery.

I called Mr Herzog several weeks ahead and he quoted me a price afer asking about the details. He said to call just a few days ahead of the move to set the date and time. A few days ahead of the planned move, I called and we were able to set up the time that I wanted. On the day of the move, the movers were at the house on time. They had all the necessary equipment to move the piano without damaging the piano or any steps, floors, etc. The move was done quickly and the piano was in its new home in less than 45 minutes. Mr Herzog recommended several piano tuners to use.

Never having hired a piano mover before, I was a little overwhelmed with choosing a reputable mover who charged a reasonable rate. I emailed and called four companies local to Indianapolis, and Mr. Herzog was the only one who answered the phone and communicated with me. The other three companies never returned calls or internet inquiries submitted through their websites. City delivery remained in communication with me to arrange the date/time for pick-up and drop-off. They were timely, friendly, and even explained to me the steps in dismantling the piano for moving and reinstalling (legs and pedals) at the destination. For what they did, the price and service is uncomparable. There is no hesitation in recommending City Delivery for anyone needing a piano moved.

GREAT PRICES. WERE A BIT TOO RUSHED IN MOVING THE PIANO FOR MY LIKING. DIDN''T NOTE ANY PRIOR NICKS ON THE PIANO, SO IT WAS HARD TO TELL WHAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN CAUSED BY THEM IN MOVING IT. I DOUBT THEY DAMAGED ANYTHING. THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL. BUT, I NOTICED A NICK AFTERWARDS, AND I''M NOT POSITIVE THEY DIDN''T DO IT, BECAUSE NO DEFECTS WERE IDENTIFIED BEFORE MOVING.
