Blanton's Painting

Work was performed over a two day period, first day to prep the work area and apply stain to windows, allow to dry for 24 hours, then apply sealer the next day. Bud Blanton did excellent work matching the stain to adjacent wood areas and was very meticulous with the application of the new stain over fiberglass and wood frames on our new windows. We have a large amount of wood trim and it was very important to us that the new stain match up right. Bud came highly recommended by our window replacement company as one of the best stainer's in the local area and we concur with that assessment. Bud showed up on time, took great care to ensure that the stain only went where intended, and cleaned up after himself each day before he left. I thought that the work was a little expensive, but working with the stain can be tricky, and if you get it wrong, then your mistakes are very hard to correct, if you can fix it at all. We really appreciated Bud's willingness to walk us through the stain application and sealing processes so that we could learn to do it ourselves. I also want to recognize that Bud offered to stain/seal the wood seat platform on the interior of these windows at no extra charge.
