They started construction on Feburary 15th, 2005 to be completed by September 15th, 2005. (The contractor added a month to the completeion date between the time we reviewed the contract and the time we signed the contract!) The contractor provided building plans, they did not include a plumbing, electrical or HVAC plan. The plumbing contractor sent his employees (including his brother) who are not licensed plumbers. He never inspected their work. They wound up moving almost every single pipe and drain. They failed to show-up for days at a time, holding up tile work, paint...well basically the whole project. Their proformance on the HVAC work was no better. The duct work will have to be relocated in order for the system to operate correctly. The tempature difference is as much as 12 degrees in some rooms. The system was never balanced (even after I requested the system be balanced). They knew it was installed incorrectly and could not be balanced! Pipe Dreams was called to correct problems that should have been covered by their warranty yet they refused to make the repairs. We have spent hundreds to correct HVAC problems.
Description of Work: This company did the plumbing and HVAC work in our new custom home in 2005. They left code violations, along with their shoddy work. We are in litagation with the General Contractor for repairs. I would not recommend them to anyone.

We did in fact install the plumbing and hvac for Member, or should I say most of the plumbing and hvac for Member. As we were installing said work Ed would come in of a night and try to "help" us. The piping he installed is the piping that we had to remove and replace into the correct areas and to code. As a general rule since our company's origination in 1993 I have never seen a residential blueprint with plumbing and hvac diagrams. All plumbing and hvac systems are always done by floor plans and on site engineering. As for the licensing I was at the time and continue to be .a licensed master plumbing contractor authorized and tested by the state of Indiana # PC19900067. as for my brother he at the time was an apprentice under myself. My company was on site at every request of Member and the general contractor and in no way held up the completion of the job. In fact waiting on the owner to provide us with the plumbing fixtures ( which was his idea) was the hold up, we waited six weeks for the master bath tub alone. In regards to the hvac , we provided a proposal for the complete standard installation of an hvac system for the main level only, We installed an hvac system to adequatly climate control the main level and basement at no extra charge. Member did not request in any way for the system to have individual room control. We did in fact balance the complete system and provided a room by room balance report. In closing anyone can always pay a companys competeitor to say something negative about them. Member had to hire several to get the answer he finally wanted. Angie needs to create a site for contractors and lenders to talk about the public, if she had one the last homebuilder Member bankrupted might have been able to warn future people of working for him.
