Had a meeting scheduled for Thursday March 7th at 1130 am. I left work to meet at the house. Waited from 11:15 am to 12:30 pm with no show no call. Tried calling the business several times (4 to be exact) and no one answered. Ended up emailing them back to let them know I had been waiting and called and that I did not want to reschedule... still nothing from them. Wasted my entire lunch for poor customer service.

Top Notch Fence was an excellent partner in helping us understand cost, materials, dimensions and more for planning a fence in our yard! They've been at this a while and the expertise shows. Although we didn't use Top Notch Fence it was only because our property line ended up being too small for the fence size we wanted. If our property allowed a larger fence we gladly would be using Top Notch for the work. If you're in the market for a fence give them a call! We certainly will be calling them again if our needs change.

The estimate, quote and repairs were all done within a week. The crew was prompt, courteous and friendly. They repaired the holes in my fence and gate created by HOA mowing crew, adjusted three gates so that they opened better and even changed the opening side of one gate for better access. They also used vinyl restore and touch up paint where necessary. Not only was the damaged fixed so that I can't tell it was ever damaged, the whole fence looks brand new! These guys were among the best providers I've found on Angie's List and I use Angie's List a lot. I would have them back in a heartbeat!

The finished product was good. The crew was pleasant and very responsive to all my requests, including a fix to an existing fence that was not a part of the contracted work. This was much appreciated. I had a little trouble nailing down a date. This was not unexpected as this is a smaller family run business that is in high demand. Once a date was assigned, however, everything went according plan. The crew showed up bright and early, ready to go. I appreciated their customer focus. They represented the company very well and I would use again.

Do not even ask these people for a quote they are not responsible. I requested and received a quote. We accepted their bid, they sent us pre-work documentation and stated that they get us on their schedule. When not hearing from them after 7 days, we followed up with emails asking when they would be able to start. However, after three follow-up emails there has been no response. If this company can't respond to an email, I can only imagine how good there work would be.

They responded same day with a quote. My fence was installed by another fencing company twelve years ago. Every spring I would call asking them to come out and repair my fence and gates and they would never show up. Was so glad to fine Top Notch Fence. They showed up as promised and did a great job. Would definitely call again and recommend them to family and friends. They reinforced and straightened fence and posts and repaired and adjusted 2 gates.

Dave Harris was so pleasant to work with, His crew did a great job and the new section of fence matches the existing fence almost identically. They were fast and on time and cleaned up their work area. We are thrilled with the job they did for us. I would recommend them to anyone needing a small or large fence job done!

I was looking to replace my backyard fence which is the original fence that came with the house and was approximately 20 years old. After contacting 7 other fence companies and only getting one response to come out and give me a quote, I decided to try one more time. This time I tried Top Notch Fence Company out of Bargersville, IN. The owners wife took the call and told me her husband would call me back and set up a time to come meet me and give me a quote. The owner, Dave Harris, called me back within a short amount of time and set up an appointment to come see me within a few days. He arrived on time for the appointment and walked the property with me and then sat in his truck and figured out the estimate for me right there. I had several estimates based on different things we talked about doing in replacing my fence. Dave was very courteous and answered all of my questions. There was never any hard sell to go with him or any pressure whatsoever. He told me to think it over and get some other quotes and then if he was the one that I wanted to go with just give him a call. After a couple of days, I called Dave and said I would like for him to do the job and when would he be able to start. He gave me a date which was several weeks away because of some other jobs they were doing. His crew showed up on Monday of the date he said and they finished the job by mid-day Friday of that same week. They would have finished a day earlier but has some weather setback which delayed them a half day. They cleaned up everything and left me with a great looking new fence for my backyard. I discovered one board that had been cut special for a smaller section and was laying on the other side of the fence like it was ready to be put in place but was missed by the workers. I called Dave to let him know we were very pleased with the work that had been done and mentioned about this one board that was not put in. He had one of his crew members come the next morning ( a Saturday morning) and install that board for us. A professional job all around. From the owner to the crew everything was easy and the job turned out great!

Hired a company that had an opening in their schedule that fit my timeline better.

They came out to look at job but never called me back with a quote!

Dave showed up exactly when he said he would, listened to the job details and walked me through the whole process. He took measurements and said he'd send me a quote and went on his way. That was nearly a month ago.... I called to follow up after a week or so and he said I'd receive my quote in the mail any day and it never arrived. Dave was great, for the part he did and I would have likely hired him to do my fence but at this point, I still don't know what he would charge.

Could not be happier. VERY professional crew. Results are amazing. Had one minor issue with the placement of one side but was quickly corrected. If you want a quality fence at a reasonable price look no futher than Top Notch Fence. Would use them again with no reservations whatsoever!

I scheduled time for an estimate. They called about 15 minutes before my appointment saying he would be late. An hour later he still had not arrived. I needed to get back to work so I called to ask what had happened to him. There was no explanation offered. If they can't show up for an estimate anytime close to the appointment, I have no confidence they will show up to do the job. They are not getting my business.

Great, Dave came out quickly to give me an estimate that seemed reasonable. His guys came a week earlier than was expected and did a great job. They placed a small section of fencing, adjusted the gate and did paint touch up on areas that were scratched by the tree that didn't need to be replaced. Would recommend and use again; I had a hard time finding a company that was willing to do a repair on a fence they didn't install.

op Notch called me back the same day, and the guys were there the next morning. Fixed the post in less than an hour. They were friendly and courteous. I will definitely contact them when I am ready to replace the entire fence.

I left a note asking for their help. They called me immediately and told me about how much it would cost and said they would be out this week. They came today and did a super job!

the contractor arrived when promised, accomplished the work in the time estimated and billed the estimated amount. Couldn't ask for more than that!

Dave at Top Notch Fence was extremely professional and overall wonderful to work with! He was easily available when I called for the initial estimate as well as follow up calls to answer any questions or concerns I had. There was a long wait for my homeowners association to approve the fence for installation and Dave was beyond patient with all of that. When I finally got approval from the HOA, Dave remembered how long I (and my dog) had been waiting for my fence and was able to fit us in very quickly. He was always on-time or early. I would absolutely call him again and have passed his name along to friends and family.

Mr. Harris returned my call within 24 hours and came the next day to provide me a quote. He was very friendly and sympathetic (that my fence had been plowed down by a drunk driver!) He provided me a written quote and had people come to put up a temporary fence within a week (to contain my dogs). The temporary fence was a God-send! They came the following week and replaced the destroyed fence, added the gate, and made the repairs. They were very friendly and did a fabulous job! I am very pleased and will definitely call Top Notch in the future for any other fence needs. I had called several other fence companies... one said they didn't work on chain link fencing (even though their Angie's list ad said that they did), one couldn't help me for a month out, and another simply never returned my call. Many thanks to Mr. Harris and his crew. I appreciate not only the work done but the professional treatment and attention to detail. If anyone has fencing needs, call Top Notch! : )

The team of 2-3 individuals showed up on Friday late a.m. and finished the fence by noon on Saturday. They were most friendly and professional, industrious in their pursuit of constructing a custom fence, ensured the fence was tight and well-anchored, and installed quality hardware on both 6 foot gates. The posts were sunk in concrete and are incredibly sturdy. They ensured that the fence would retain its structure for years by installing a sufficient number of posts and applying face boards in order to better anchor the fence. I should also mention that they redesigned the gates into two three-foot sections that enables them to open in a more efficient and effective manner. Everyone who has seen the fence marvels at its uniqueness, quality and functionality. We are most pleased and satisfied! Top Notch receives our highest recommendation to others.

I contacted about nine fence companies before settling on Top-Notch. You'd think a simple project like mine would require just one or two calls, but some companies blew me off or quoted outrageously high. Dave was very responsive giving me an immediate ballpark estimate over the phone, and when he arrived to do an on-site estimate, it closely matched his phone estimate. I was very impressed with the work and service that he and his crew did. They provided one of the most competitive estimates, were able to complete the work within two weeks as promised (faster than any other fence company), and did a beautiful and efficient job despite the rain! I appreciated their professional, caring approach and wouldn?t hesitate a minute to use them again no matter the size of the job. I highly recommend them!

Owner responded very quickly to initial call and came and gave an estimate within a day. Price was very competitive and timeline was superb. Fence installed quicker than expected which was fantastic since I have 4 dogs and was leash walking all of them. Couple of initial issues, very minor, but owner was quick to correct those to make a happy customer, of which I am. Couldn't ask for a nicer guy to work with. Cleanup of dirt on inside of fence was not done which led to muddy dog paws, so I had to do that myself, but that was a small price to pay for the early install. Thanks so much and I'd certainly recommend these guys!

First, Dave was the only person to even get back to me in spite of multiple calls to other companies (including a few with A ratings on AL.) Then he came right out, put a quote together for me quickly, and came to do the work a week before he had promised. I had horses going crazy in a barnyard and a house closing I needed to have the place ready for, so he was a godsend. On top of everything else, he's a darn nice guy. The fence looks great and the hassle is already behind me.
