It went as I had expected, since this is the second time I've used this company. We showed up to the home and Larry was already on the roof inspecting. He was there for approximately two hours and he was moving the whole time. He would stop throughout the process and advise on certain areas he felt were important for us to know. When he left he said call me anytime if you have any questions and he had a finished report to us later that afternoon. I would most certainly trust him for any future home inspections and would recommend him to anyone.

He went above and beyond AFTER we closed and took possession of the home... Something was wrong with the water in terms of it not turning on, and he came to our house and put in a temporary fix. This was greatly appreciated, since my husband was out of town and I wasn't sure what the problem was.

Everything went smoothly! The $370 was for a home inspection, termite inspection, and Radon test. Larry is very friendly and communicates very well! You can tell he takes pride in his work!
Description of Work: Larry performed a House Inspection for me prior to the Closing of a house I bought. I definitely got all of my money's worth. He inspected the house and emailed me a report later that night with the minor issues with the house. He was very detailed in his report, as well as explaining everything to me while we walked through the house together. He also checked for termites and performed a Radon test (which takes a few days to get the results). The Radon test results showed high levels of radon which I asked the Seller to mitigate before Closing. I'm glad I had him test for Radon.

Larry O'Brien arrived early. Mr O'Brien was courteous, clean and professional. As pointed out in the contract you sign, he performed a visual inspection of the home. A report was sent a few days later as promised. He did answer questions I had regarding the report. He couldn't determine if the outdoor dusk/dawn sensors were defective during the daylight but I wish I would have had him mention it in the report.

Larry was incredibly thorough! He arrived early and never stopped moving throughout the house. He found major and minor problems. I am so thankful that I had this inspection done by such a professional!It was worth every penny! I will call Larry again before my one-year new construction builder warranty walk through.

Larry arrived on time. He was very personable, clean, polite and thorough. He spent extra time in explaining the problems and how to fix them. He answered all our questions. We were very impressed and would highly recommend him. He was well worth the money spent.
Description of Work: We had a water leak in bedroom ceiling. Larry came out and inspected the inside, the attic, and then inspected the roof. He pointed out two problems. The first leak was caused by the plumbing stack seal failure. The second place was caused from lack of insulation. This caused condensation to form. He gave us recommendations on how to fix these problems.

The appointment was scheduled for 9AM,and Larry showed up on time. I described the type of inspection requested, and he donned coveralls to get to work. The process took about an hour. His report was both verbal and written. The written report included digital photos of the damaged areas that he observed. The verbal report included limited suggestions as to what might be required for repair. He suggested that I contact two or three independent contractors to get a feel for what the repairs would cost.
Description of Work: Inspect crawl space of residence. Check specifically for sill rot and evidence of settling.

WHAT SPURRED ME TO CALL WAS THEY INSPECTED OUR HOUSE IN FEB 2002, THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF REFINISHING OUR BASEMENT. I CALLED THEM AGAIN, THEY CAME OVER THE NEXT DAY TO SEE IF WE HAD TERMITES OR NOT. I REALLY DID APPRECIATE THAT! THEY DID NOT CHARGE TO COME BACK OUT AND DO THE INSPECTION FOR THE TERMITES.
