LOWE'S

I was told by the designer that it would take a week but it didn't. I must admit that I did not shop around for other designers. They seemed that they have construction companies that they deal with to do the work. The guy at Lowes designs it and then they farm it out to a construction company. I really needed to get a bathtub out and a shower in. It was a good six weeks. The construction company put down one floor and the glued didn't dry so they put plywood over it. It was one thing over another. I would not recommend them. Plus the fact that I told the designer that I wanted a beige shower but the shower went in as a brown color. The liaison between Lowes and the construction company disappeared the first three days so I couldn't reach out to anybody to say anything. I would just not recommend them at all.

The quality is great. They were very good on responsiveness.

The only interaction I had was just with the cashier. Their customer service looks good. The selection of products was good.

We have been using their services for many years. They give a military discount which is fabulous! They keep a record of everything you have done. They are convenient, courteous and overall great! We are planning on using them again for the installation of the remaining windows.

We were happy with the work. It was very good.

They did an excellent job. They did the whole job, a couple different things. Plus they let me charge it. That was really the deciding factor, they let me put it on my charge card.

It went well.. I go there if I have question on something I'm not sure on and usually their sell people answers.

The associate was very kind and intuitive that I was not in a good mood. We were putting our dog down that evening and I needed Lime to use when burying him. I didn't need to actually tell her that but she gathered by my sadness why we needed the lime and was really nice about it, providing information that alluded to that fact without actually saying it outright. I also wanted a nice plant to honor him by and she helped me find one.

They sent someone out to the house beforehand to measure everything. They completed the work in one afternoon. They did a good job.

They are very helpful and knowledgeable about the products we are looking for. They are a little higher than their competition.

Signed contract with Lowes on 9/26/13 - scheduled to install 10/15/2013 - was contacted by Quality Fencing stating that they were contracted to install my fence by Lowes . 10/15/2013 Materials delivered - posts were scratched up - Lowes delivery driver brought the damage to my attention. He contacted Lowes and I was given a 20% discount on the materials since they were scratched up. Posts were installed on Tuesday, fencing was installed on Friday. Looks good. Fence installer treated scratches with black spray paint. Installer came back on Saturday to install clips on bottom tension wire - stated that Lowes did not provide them when they delivered materials and he had to go pick them up. If I need any fence installed in the future, I would ensure Quality Fencing would be my installer.

I don’t have a problem with them and they’re good. They have everything I need when I go there. The staff is friendly and they are able to help me with what I need. Their pricing is good.

The experience went real well. The installers that came out were real efficient. They did a real good job. Of course, my experience with them on the carpet was really good.

It went very good, we still have 1 item pending but they were here on time and they did an excellent job. Their price was in between, we've had other quotes from other companies, someone lower and someone higher. We had a question about something they did and they were right out here the next day, they told us why they fixed it, did it the way they did and they're going to fix it the way we want it fixed. Nobody likes prices on anything anymore.

Overall my experience has been very positive. I did have an experience last month where they ran a charge for a purchase through twice but they had a computer problem and they corrected it within about two weeks. The people that I have come in contact with at Lowe’s have been very helpful.

They took out the old one and brought in the new one. They were here when they said. They set it up with no fuss. We would definitely use them in the future.

They didn't deliver on time. They delivered before hand. It would have been better if I were there when they were there so I could have directed them on where to put it. I would use them again.

They did an excellent job on the counters and I had no problem with that. I had no problem with the wood flooring too. There was one problem, firstly they sent somebody to check on installing the wooden floor. This lady gave us all the wrong information. I had a fiber board underneath that and she didn’t say that I need to put the right floor. My neighbor had the same problem and they messed up their floor really badly. I just went to them and talked to them. I told them that this lady had messed up the whole thing for my neighbor. I had the same situation. She told us that I was going to get the thick hardwood floor and she told us there wouldn’t be any problem in nailing it in. They told us never nail it in on the fiber board because it can crack and break. Then I went back and talk to them so they sent another guy to give us the estimates. He checked all that and he told us that I had to put a floating floor. I got the floating floor put in. They did a good job. The price was very good and very competitive. I checked with the other shop and I got a very good deal here with Lowe’s. The quality was very good. They were very, very good to us. When they said they will be here, they were here. I spent about $3000 on the countertop and the wooden flooring was around the same amount.

Part of the job I had Lowe's do is going to have to be redone. I came home and my wife was a little upset. What had happened was that the fellow who did the tile was exceptionally good in everything except for one thing. He didn't make sure that all these tiles matched up in color. This was like 1500 square feet of wood tile that we bought to look like real wood and that we had to use special grout that had to be specially ordered. Now I have to have some of the tile taken out and replaced and Lowe's said they would do that. Which is good, but it is a pain. It is a pretty sad thing, because he is an expert and I don't know why he just didn't match up all of it. Some of the grout in one room came out blotched color wise and I guess I am going to have to stain it. That negates the purpose of buying the special grout. My wife was pretty upset about it and it almost ruined Christmas. I took her with me to Lowe's and I let her talk to the supervisor that handles this stuff. I let her talk to the lady and explain what was wrong and I had taken pictures of it. The lady handled it really well and agreed to fix it. That made my wife feel good. Later he came back and picked up some tools and I told him to look at the tiles and at the different color and he said "well that is not my problem." I was going to say something to him, but I thought no he doesn't work for me he works for Lowe's so I went over and talked to the supervisor. I told them that they guy said it wasn't his problem but Lowe's problem and I know he works for you. It wasn't a good thing to hear and had my wife heard that, she had been a drill instructor... I was pleased with their policy for getting things fixed. I told them that he was an expert and that was why he didn't need to be supervised and that they may want to check on that. He had been real careful about everything else. He just got sloppy and rushed at the end. He also had a bad attitude about somethings. I don't know if it is the younger people these days. I think he was a pretty good guy and that was why I went and personally talked to Lowe's. I hoped that they could turn this guy in the right direction and that he learns something from the experience. I might use them again, but I would do more inspection.

Lowe's Tim Amick stuck to his schedule while remaining polite, efficient and professional from start to finish. Supplies were delivered promptly. The crews were quick, polite, expert and willing to finish before the Thanksgiving Holidays. We will use Lowe's again! UPDATE one year later... We will not use Lowe's again - though it has nothing whatsoever to do with any of the local Lowe's stores: Lowe's treated lumber is substandard and is not recommended for horizontal installations. They tend to sell this lower grade (labeled "Prime" or "Standard") treated lumber at a loss in order to sell accessories, tools, services, etc at what appears to be less expense than utilizing a contractor and lumber from a "Premium" grade supplier. Our personal experience and examples: (After being initially elated by the above fence, gates and deck installations in 2012) we spent an additional $1500 and summer of 2013 completely painting the privacy fence with Valspar Custom Duramax (to stop warping and so that it would last). At the same time, the deck had to be completely replaced by Lowe's for an additional $6,000 investment in Trex (composite) decking and hardware. The irony here is that the local Lowe's stores don't have quality control over the inventory that is shipped to them. Thus, they become conditioned to deal with an endless succession of complaints resolution, applying recurring debits/credits, and regular customer turnover associated with the retail hardware market - another example of 'pay me now or pay me later'. It would have been more cost effective, time efficient and much less physically and emotionally draining to go through this process with a premium lumber company and their preferred contractors.

I purchase flooring at Lowes and the only problem I had in transaction was return call on the purchase. The Lowes staff in flooring was very slow in getting back to me to schedule someone to coma measure. Once that task was done the rest of the process when great. Bill Paul flooring installation was nice to work with. Scheduling was breeze, and staff were on time and very nice. They moved my furniture without a mark and we even have a door that is in a unusal position and they breezed right through it. They were did a great job and my room looks wonderful. Make sure to ask for them when you are ready to install

There is someone who always helped us there. This particular store is different from others. We get help every time we asked for. They contract all their installation people. We got a water heater from them last year. We also got patio furniture from them. It is not the closest store, and it is 6 miles away; but I will go anywhere to get a good service. It is a good service. The availability is good. They have better quality. They have always been professional, friendly, and charitable. We might paint their Tudor.

The experience was fine. They came out and measured when they said they would. They put the carpet in when they said they would. They worked efficiently and cleaned up after themselves.

All went well. No complaints. Professional and personable employees who cleaned-up the area when finished.
