LOWE'S

I like them very much. They were just really helpful. The guy that came out to do the inspection was also the installer, and he was excellent. He made recommendations, told me what to look for in picking out the flooring, and he was excellent at putting in the flooring. He was wonderful. He was very professional, helpful, and he did a good job. I didn't really compare the price to other places because I liked what was happening with them. Although, I felt like I got what I paid for.

They subcontract to have things done. I bought from them and they had installers to do the work. I was not too happy with the work that was done. Two weeks after the year ran out I realized that there was something that was not right. I tried to explain it to them, but they had a person who was new. I don't know exactly what his title was. I was not at all satisfied with his answers and experience. The installer said if I had any problems I could call him directly. I did not call Lowe’s. There is a person that owns the installation company. I don't know whether he subcontracts the work out or not. The storm door was where my real problem was. They had to come back and reinstall it because it was hanging and not operating properly. When they took the old door out it left holes. The new door did not cover it. The holes were exposed right along the door. I called the installer and they asked me to call Lowe’s, which I did. Their price was good, though. The installers were pretty quick about answering the phone. I had them out here about four or five times for different problems with the door. They were here more often for the storm door than for the entry door. The owner of the company was very responsive when it came to taking care of my problems. The lady that took care of me at Lowe's was very professional and very efficient. The person that I had to deal with after the job was done was found to be lacking.

The guy who did the job was very good. He is very good at what he does. They weren’t the cheapest, still we went with them. In my opinion it was a little extra money.

They were fine. The service guy they sent did a pretty good job. It was neat and tidy, it looked right.

Everything was fine from start to finish, the ordering the delivery time and everything. I was a little disappointed because I didn't want any pressed wood at a ll, but on the back was pressed wood. I don't think that is something that they knew, but I think it's something the maker knew and they don't put in their brochure that the back of the cabinet is pressed wood. I liked the cabinet and I wanted to get it in, but I am sensitive to formaldehyde. We have not done it yet, but we really need to seal it with some paint or varnish. It not like I sleep in there or spend that much time in there, but it out gases formaldehyde. It's not in the information and it should be. We really didn't bring it up. It was one of those things that we could have sent it back, but we just really want to get it done. We had a hard time finding a vanity that would fit because we need a shallow depth. Unless we built it ourselves, I didn't see any way to get one we liked. It was take this one and seal the pressed wood, or build one. I think it is more of a problem between Lowes and the maker. Lowes was really good to work with.

The salesperson was very helpful. We were looking for a counter depth refrigerator and he directed us to a Samsung saying it was the best model. We were able to confirm this with consumer reports. After doing some additional research, I found the same model at Best Buy at a cheaper price. I called the salesperson back and he said they would beat their price by 10% if I brought in the ad. The delivery went smoothly and they were right on time.

All was well with the exception of the carpet and vinyl installation.

They were prompt and did a good job with the work. They came out on a Saturday to finish the work.

They did a good job. One guy did the job in about 2 hours which included removing old unit and installing the new one.

Great! The people at Lowes were very helpful and knowledgeable. The installers they used were very good about getting in contact with me for arranging the measuring and installation. The installers did a nice job. They even did a little extra work on the stairs for me.

The whole process was fairly quick and easy - just felt like a little bit of back and forth to the store. I had a pretty good idea of the carpeting that I wanted and didn't need much help shopping. Once I selected it, they sent out an estimator. She was on time, quick and very pleasant. When the estimate came in, I had to go back to the store to sign the contract and pay for the carpet and service. The carpet came in about 10 days later. My husband and I had to move the furniture out of the room ahead of time because the installers (who will move funiture if you pay them to do it) won't move antiques or pianos. The installers were also on time, quick and very pleasant. They were at work ripping up the old carpet within about 30 seconds of arriving and were gone an hour or so later. I was at home with a newborn and kept her shut up in her room next to an open window - the glue smell got pretty strong at one point but they assured me it was totally safe. All in all a great experience. Product and service are great!

When our old water heater went out Lowe's had the best price for a water heater. Furthermore, they would do the work on the same day. They removed the old water heater, and installed a new water heater. Shortly, the water heater stopped working. There was a defective thermocoupler on it. Lowe's would not work on it saying that it was the manufacturers problem.

They were very good about answering questions. They were quick, efficient, and professional. He knew what he was doing and did it calmly, quietly, and competently like he had done it a million times. He cleaned up and was very meticulous.

They have quality materials and craftsmanship. The workmen are very knowledgeable. We feel confident in what they are delivering and in who is doing the job. We have security and piece of mind. They have excellent follow-up.

Had a great experience, the sales person was helpful and explained all different models and what sizes of wheels meant to the lawn. She was very helpful.

It was a great experience from start to finish. The lady who sat down with me to come up with a plan and pick a laminate top took a lot of time in explaining to me the different options I had. Then, the gentleman who came out to measure was very polite and also suggested some options that I had (he suggested I had room to add an overhang that could be used as an eating bar). When the counter was delivered and installed both gentlemen were polite and professional. They got the job done quickly, cleaned up well, and hauled away the old countertop.

The carpet came loose and we contacted Lowe's about coming out and fixing it. The carpet is only guaranteed for one year and the representative said the only way the could fix it is if I paid it. She asked if we had ever moved our furniture around which could loosen the carpet and we haven't since the day of installation. We wouldn't go to Lowe's in the future for carpet installation.

Their specialized staff for the various departments there is always very helpful, knowledgeable, and professional in answering any questions that I may have.

Getting the old door out was a hassle since it was improperly installed. The Lowes folks got everything squared away, and the new door is perfect.

The customer service at this Lowe's location is lacking. First, when I asked an associate where the ladders were, she stated ''down there'' without giving me more precise directions. She then abruptly walked away. When shopping for both lighting a lawn and garden items, I never received assistance, even though I had requested through their customer service desk.

The room was small but they were in and out in a hurry. No problems. The job looks good and I was really happy with the service.

They are very professional and do great work. They clean up after themselves and they all speak English. I love the lady that works there at the store, she really knows her carpet. It was a good experience from sale to installation.
