The worker sent by Feld's to install our vinyl flooring did such a horrible job that we documented 47 mistakes, including: ---craters in the floor; ---gouges in every single piece of molding he installed; ---cement and other materials smeared left on walls and floors and other places; ---creating very noticeable ridges and valleys in the flooring; ---badly scratching every inch of gold edging he installed; ---leaving grimy fingerprints and handprints on all six door surfaces he touched; ---making unsightly cuts on the ends of each of the molding pieces he installed; ---leaving our garage door--and even the door from the garage to the kitchen--open for both days he was here, in subzero weather; ---not installing shoe molding at the bottom of two doors as was ordered; ---leaving so much debris and misplaced furniture when he left that it took us two hours to clean up his mess; ---putting some sort of greasy goop on the outside of the toilet; ---spilling sealer on the seam that left a large/long unsightly area all across the seam in the bathroom; ---taking many hours longer, both days he was here, to complete the job than what we were told--meaning that we could not use our kitchen, living room, downstairs bathroom, living room, or the rest of the first floor for most of that time; ---using our supplies as his own !---paper towels and even one of our towels for his cleanup while we were gone; staining one of our best kitchen towels with cement and something else and leaving it sopping-wet in the sink; ---damaging our baseboards in many places where he installed quarter-round; ---The Feld?s installer also made our water pipes freeze by leaving the cover off the Water Meter Pit, on a subzero day and night; We had to hire a plumbing company to get water back into the house, and the only one available that day took 11 hours to get to us and charged us $433; ---The homeowner also had to take that day off from work?without pay?to research plumbing companies, make all the phone calls it took to get a plumber to our home, and wait those 11 hours for the water to be restored; ---We still don?t have the Heating bill that will show how much the installer?s carelessness in leaving the garage and kitchen doors open for two of the coldest days of the year. And much more that won?t fit here--we have a 5-and-a-half-page document listing all the mistakes they made. And Mike Poor, the Owner, has made an unacceptable "offer" and has continued to refuse to come see all the problems caused by his installer. Another contractor?who does work for an Angie's List executive--has inspected the work and advised that it needs to be completely redone. Thank you for your assistance.

They seemed to have some confusion about the layout, which resulted in being short a couple if tiles rather than having some extras. The grout appeared to have been poorly mixed and the result was that some chipped out right away. Diagonal cuts to accommodate trim we're sloppy. It was disappointing. The date of service is just a guess

We ordered Hunter Douglas blackout shades. Felds measured windows and installation was included. They were very nice, with a valence type design. I was pleased with the service and final product. We were especially concerned about the safety of the strings/ hardware, and they were able to make the shades meet our safety requirements.

They're very professional and always perform the work to our satisfaction. Mike is very polite, knowledgeable about his work, and definitely knows what he's doing. His crew is dining a fantastic job and always cleans up after themselves. We hired them several times and we will definitely hire them again to do more work in our house. They're very easy to work with.

Mike came out and measured all the windows late on a Saturday afternoon. Within a week he called to schedule the installation. the Plantation Blinds look Great! I could not be happier! Mike was a true professional and the installation was great! Thanks!!

The carpet installation went well. Very smooth and organized process. It look great. We also asked them to move furniture and in the process the damaged a very nice entertainment center. Recommend their carpet and installation. Do not let them move your furniture unless under tight supervision. Celan up was well done.

They did a good job. The moved the furniture and did a nice job of coordinating their work so that they were efficient.

What I found frustrating and the reason why I gave a C for quality and professionalism is after the installers left, I noticed three of the boards they used were chipped exposing the interior of the wood. The chips in two of the three boards measured almost 2 inches. I could not believe that professional installers would have missed this damage during the install. In addition to this problem, they also left glue residue on the laminate from under the wood transition strip. When I called to schedule repair, they were going to charge me for another box of laminate boards to do the replacement board. Overall I rate the company a B- or C+. I am not sure if I would use them again due to the fact that they installed damaged laminate boards and did not clean up the glue after install. I would like to be able to trust the quality of work done with a company I use and I am not sure I can with this company. The entire laminate flooring that was installed had to be replaced since I made this original review. The laminate was horrible. The quality of the product/finish was very poor. The laminate finish did not withstand NORMAL daily traffic of two people. Within 5-6 months the floor began to buckle, chip, and scratch. I have sinced replaced the laminate with a better product at lowes. It has been 2 years since install of that product and no buckeling, chipping, or sratches are evident.

They had excellent service, were very courteous and also very prompt. We would use them again.

It went fantastic. Put it this way, about to put hardwood down, I'm calling them again. They were on time, only took a ten minute break in eight hours. Got right to work. They were very nice and polite.

WHEN OLD CARPET WAS REMOVED, DISCOVERED GOOD HARDWOOD FLOOR UNDERNEATH. WORKERS CLEANED IT OFF NICE AND WE DECIDED NOT COVER IT WITH CARPET. FELD'S ADJUSTED THE TOTAL COST FOR US. OVERALL, A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE CONSIDERING WORK WAS CHANGED.

THE COMPANY DID A VERY GOOD JOB.

THE CARPET QUALITY WAS MISREPRESENTED. THE WRONG CARPET WAS INSTALLED AND THEY HAD TO TAKE IT UP AND REINSTALL THE CORRECT CARPET. THEY EVEN WANTED TO CHARGE ME $600 TO CORRECT THEIR OWN ERROR. THE JOB TOOK ENTIRELY TOO LONG.
