It was a very cold day and I was disappointed some other work had to wait until Spring, but I understood why. Overall, the electrician fixed my immediate problem quickly and was on his way.

The bathroom fan did not need replacing, instead they removed the motor, cleaned the parts and replaced it. The chandelier installation was great except they did cut the fixture wire rather than bundle into the electrical box but when I asked for a revisit to extend the length of the chandelier stem, Kevin came out the next day to investigate and was able to lengthen the stem with the existing wire. There was no charge for the second visit and the followup and concern over a problem that thankfully did not materialize was very professional and friendly.

Service manager failed to return phone call about a return visit. I had to call again to ask when they would be returning to finish their work. They could have done a better job informing me of the status of the job.

Frye's was available to install the unit on less than two days notice. Did not compare the price with other contractors due to time constraints, but we felt it was fair. Electrician showed up on time and was courteous. Did not mind answering questions about the work being performed. Completed the work in time efficiently. Removed all waste, including the packaging from the ceiling fan we had bought and the old ceiling fan.

Highly professional, easy to work with, readily supplied an estimate for future work.

Kevin came out next day to give us an estimate for the above items & several others (total about $1000). We decided to do about half the work now. Kevin provided line-item cost in estimate so that we could split out the portions to do immediately. The work was completed quickly & exactly per estimate. Clean-up was great;no mess left behind. We are very pleased with the outcome & looking forward to completing the rest of the project.

Steve was extremely pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and thorough. I was very impressed with his honesty and attention to detail. While he was at our house, he noticed a conduit on the exterior of the house was faulty as a result of some siding work we had just had done. He wrote down an emergency number for IPL and told me to contact them ASAP to prevent a fire. I was so happy he noticed that and even more happy that he gave me instructions on how to have it fixed. We have decided to postpone our kitchen project for the time being but will definitely hire Frye when we decide to proceed.

The estimator was punctual and polite, but his suggestions were off the mark. He wanted to run wiring through drapery rods rather than try to get in the attic or run through the crawl space. The emphasis seemed to be ease of installation rather than aesthetics.

I had several problems with the company. I felt deceived by them because the work was suppose to be more intensive, so the estimate was higher. The work ended up being less than they anticipated, but they didn't want to lower the price, instead they wanted to add more money, so I got them to finally lower it a little bit. To top it off, there is still 1 item that still needs to be done that they haven't comw back out to finish. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!

I have yet to actually use Frye's for any work, but they did come and give me estimates on about 10 different electrical projects, ranging from replacing track lighting to installing exterior lights. I have gotten quotes from several other electricians and Frye had the most reasonable prices and the most professional representative. He gave lots of suggestions. I will be calling Frye in the near future to complete some of the work.

The technician (non-union, OTJ trained) arrived on time, and was friendly and pleasant during his visit. However, he failed to take standard safety precautions while performing his work. The tech did not turn off the circuit breaker for both the wall switch and outlet prior to replacing them. When I questioned him on this he said that he would perform the work with the wires hot. After replacing the outlet, he failed to test it to ensure that it was working correctly. Later the same day I attempted to use the replaced outlet and found that it had no power. I called the company and they sent the same tech out later that day. The tech determined that he had tripped a GFI outlet on the same circuit as the replaced outlet. He said that he must have touched some wires together while replacing the outlet. While I was happy with the company's next day service and price, I would not hire them again. I'll pay extra for safety.

Work was performed well. They did not communicate well. We had a deadline and when we realized the work was incomplete, I had trouble tracking down the right person to talk to. Their bill was way too high but we were able to negotiate satisfactorily.

Employees who came to our house were friendly and knowledgeable. They worked efficiently.

They did a good job. They were very personable and professional. The guys that came out were real sharp and really took care of things. They came out for a simple job which a lot of electric companies will not do.

Workers were very professional, polite and friendly, competent, and hard-working. We appreciated their expertise and recommendations.

They offered to match the price of a competitor who came in slightly lower price. I thought that was good of him.

The service was excellent. The price was great. He was very helpful and did a super job for less than original estimate. I would call them again for service.

The power line was pulled away from the house and almost disconnected in a storm. They came the same day we called. The worker was prompt and completed the work quickly. A very positive experience.

He was very prompt and very neat. He kept everything clean because it is a big office.

Company is very professional. Someone actually answered right away and sent a professional out to the house. He took as much time as needed and explained things very well. He provided a detailed estimate the same day. Scheduling the work was just as easy. This company has excellent customer service.

Frye Electric was personable and provided excellent customer service from the telephone call to set up our appointment to the very end of the job!! The electrician who did the job was ABSOLUTELY the nicest man! I felt completely comfortable having him in my home, with my two small children, for several hours while he completed the jobs. He was professional and absolutely appropriate in his interaction with me. The work was excellent and his abilities were undeniably professional. He was right on time and completed the work in almost the exact amount of time he estimated. The cost estimate given for the job was right on target as well. The estimate was prompt and fair, they worked with us to find the safest and most cost effective way to satisfy the buyer's concerns and completed the work quickly. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly, professional and capable. After the free estimate, they gave us a packet of information about the company and their Angie's List awards. No pressure to make an appointment, they let us make a decision in our own time. Great experience!
