I felt they were very professional. The technician took a lot of time to explain things to me. With the breaker box, he took breakers out to explain the basics of them so I would understand from now on. I appreciated that.

Job 1: They did an excellent job. It was a challenging job and they did fine. Job 2: Went really well!

It was excellent. They came when they said they would come. They were efficient and then left.

1) Bathroom fan/light fixture installation. Bathroom fixture was partially installed by my husband. Hired Frye to do the complete install. The electrician did make the ceiling hole bigger to allow the fixture to be installed properly. The shower light (which is on a different switch) stopped working, and he told me that the light had burnt out. After he left, I tried multiple bulbs and it did not work although it had worked that morning. After a couple of days, the fan light stopped working. Frye came out on another date to fix the problems. The electrician explained that he had not touched any of the wiring my husband had done for either fixtures. I was frustrated that he had not checked any of that in the beginning. He did fix it and we have not had an subsequent problems, although I later discovered that he had not attached the vent house to the exterior wall. 2)Installed dedicated outlet. No problems with this installation. He was careful not to destroy visible drywall.

Kevin did the estimate and we explained in detail what we wanted. We provided Jay with a drawings showing the switches and connections and reviewed locations that morning. They were still installed incorrectly, but later corrected. We had to have them reroute some wiring because they put a run right through the middle of some joists that were going to be left exposed. They left a hole open in our siding (for the security light) when poor weather was forecast. Did not save mounting hardware for lighting that was to be reinstalled so we have black screws in a brushed chrome fixture. Did not leave manufacturer information or warranty information for new, owner supplied, fixtures. Installed incorrect 220v outlet for the stove even though the stove was in the room the whole time. They ended up replacing the cord. Did not call us about which side of fan blades we wanted exposed or if it was ok to replace the stove cord. They were willing to work with our sporadic renovation schedule.

He was very professional and came within a half hour of the estimated time (for which I had called that day) even though it was not an emergency. The whole process only took about 15 minutes, so for someone not electrically inclined like me it seemed very quick. I appreciated his honesty, even if the price was more than I expected, I would use this company again.

Arrived on time and they did a very professional job. They had a $10.00 per hour discount for Angie's List members which I forgot about, but they reminded me which I appreciated.

THEY DID ELECTRICAL WORK IN THE BATHROOM, REWIRED THE OUTLET ON THE BACK PORCH, THEY PUT IN A NEW ELECTRICAL RECEPTACLE AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS PROJECTS.

Kevin came to the house to give the quote. He remembered me from a previous time he had been to the property to give a quote. Both times he noticed that the front post light was constantly burning and said they could easily replace it. He finished the quote quickly and left me a whole packet of information. I asked how far out they were for completing orders and he said a couple of days. I was ecstatic. I called Mike and got the job scheduled for 2 days later. Joe arrived early, checked out everything I needed him to do, and was almost finished with the front porch light before I even pulled out of the driveway to go to work. He was missing a part (my fault) but finished everything he was able to. I called Mike and he again quickly scheduled him to complete the job at my convenience.

We were experiencing brown outs in certain areas of our house. We called IPL, they sent a service man to investigate. We were told our meter base would have to be replaced, and that this was the customer's responsibility to maintain, not IPL's. We called Frye Electric, they gave us a verbal estimate, and they were able to come within an hour of the call. The service man and I waited together for hours for IPL to arrive to turn off all power to the house. After the power was off, the service man installed the unit and we called IPL to return to do their part with the meter and turn the power back on at the main box. The service man and I waited together over four hours, and IPL did not come. I called IPL three additional times, each time I was told a truck had been dispatched to my address. Frye management allowed the service man to leave at 5:00, although IPL had not arrived. When IPL did arrive, they indicated everything was in order, and they completed their part of the project.

The workmen showed up on time and worked diligently until the job was complete. They cleaned up well and even took away the boxes to the fans I had supplied. The workmen were professional and personable. I would not hesitate to contract with them again.

They were the most responsive of the companies I called. They seemed very professional and did the job well. I was glad that they came early enough to take care of it because I had quite a lot to do.

They were lacking in the clean-up department.

They were easy to work with. Very responsive and when I went over what I wanted done, he gave me the good and bad options. He really worked with me to ensure I was pleased.

Kevin Swionhart came out to review the work and provide a quote. I thought Kevin was honest, very nice, respectful and gave me his full time and attention in explaining what he thought needed an update and what was ok as it was. Because he was so definitive, I trusted him and felt his recommendations were accurate. It was simple to schedule the work, Frye Electric was very accommodating to my work schedule. Jay was the electrician assigned to the job. He arrived right on time, was very careful and clean while working in my house. He even took his shoes off to go through my carpeted areas. Jay was very respectful and took time to answer my questions, but worked through each project efficiently. It is important to me to have someone I trust working in my house, not just on the project, but feeling safe and respected while they are here, and Jay was great. He completed every project - including a trouble-some two-way indoor/outdoor switch and kept at it until he solved the problem. Great!

He did very nice work. The technician was professional, clean, nice and polite. Although the price was slightly higher than other electrician's, because of the service I received I will move my business to them.

He came and looked over the circuit breaker that controls my heat pump (which was not working). He replaced it, and immediately the heat pump went on. He looked over the whole circuit breaker box and told me it did not need to be replaced. He asked if there was anything else that needed to be done, and he took care of them all.

Frye Electric did a fabulous job. A friend of mine that is a contractor was shocked at how little they charge. Two men worked all day, they were both very courteous and worked hard all day. They also told me when something didn't need to be done that I thought needed to be replaced.
