Everything went very smoothly. We called them in the morning of 2/13/2012 and they came to to the job in the afternoon. They were very thorough, courteous and we feel that they did an excellent job. We will definitely use them again for any electrical problems.

It was excellent, the two electricians arrived at the scheduled time, we explained the work needed completion and unfortunately we had a different electrician start the jobs, but I terminated/fired him as his quality of work was pitiful. The electricians had to undo what little the previous electrician had started and re-start the entire process. Everything was completed at the end of the day with our satisfaction and we inquired if the same electrician could return to hang a couple of ceiling fans and the response was yes. The work was exception, upmost professional, cost was what we expected and everything works!! It was an excellent experience.

Good experience. They made an appointment for the next day. Tech (Kurt) was on time and friendly and very willing to answer all our questions. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

We discovered two days before Christmas that our main breaker was sparking badly!! ( if you smell an antifreeze like odor in your home...check all electrical possibilities. We did and it led us to the breaker panel!). While other companies were closing early due to the holidays Frye said there was no way they could leave us in this situation. The technicians, both named Michael were hoping to have an early start to their holiday and then got dispatched to us at 4pm. They had to replace the entire control panel and did not leave until 10pm!! My husband put a bow on it and said Merry Christmas. I gave the wonderful Michaels some cookies to take home...not much but I felt so bad keeping them so late. I would highly recommend this company. They went above and beyond for us!

They do a real good job. I have used them several times. They are great. I would recommend them.

Sunday, while decorating for Christmas, we unknowingly plugged in a decoration that was damaged (very old with a damaged cord). This caused sparks to fly and a circuit to blow. We quickly unplugged everything on the circuit and attempted to reset the breaker without success. Upon inspecting the decoration we discovered a nick in the cord and disposed of the decoration. Because there was nothing important (such as kitchen appliances or the furnace) on this blown circuit, we waited until Monday morning to call for an electrician to come out. We called Frye Electric because we had used them before and been satisfied. Mike said someone would be there between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. At 4 p.m. Sam and Derek arrived. Sam removed his boots when he came into the house - which we appreciated (Derek remained by the front door and ran back out to the truck when Sam needed something). Sam reset the breaker and instructed us on the correct way to do it. Then he inspected the outlets along that circuit (all ok) plus the extension cord we had used (advised us to dispose of it). Sam patiently answered all our questions. Sam gave us a discount on this service call due to our Angie's List membership. If we have another need for an electrician, we will definitely call Frye Electric again.

We needed two outlets installed. This entailed going into the crawl space and fishing a line up the wall. Kurt and Mike were efficient and very professional. Mike even told us about a leak he found in our crawl space. Although this slowed them down a bit, they were able to finish the job and for the price quoted. This is the second time Kurt has been to our house and I would request either Kurt or Mike for future needs!

I bought the light.I needed someone to exchange the light for me. It took two men to replace the light fixture. If I knew anything about electric I would of done it myself. The $199.00 is with a discount for belonging to Angies list.

I had two exterior outlets and a lamp post that were not functioning. Mike showed up on time, did some quick trouble shooting and learned that I had a bad GFI switch and a bad photo cell. He replaced both and now everything works perfectly.

Thanks to Angie's List we were able to compare electrical companies in our area. We had gotten approximately three estimates from different firms. The estimate we were given by Frye Electric was more reasonable than what we had gotten from other firms, so we chose Frye Electric. On the day the work was scheduled, the Frye electricians showed up on time. They went to work and did all the jobs we had asked them to do. They swept up after each job and you would have never known they were here. We were very pleased with the work they did and they were hard working and very professional. We recommend Frye Electric and we would hire them again.

Sam, the technician, was one that I used all three times. He arrived when he said he would, and explained everything thoroughly. They charge by time, and he was able to very quickly find the problem in each case. They have good coupons on their website to save on a trip-charge.

The electrician made the early call, saw the uncommon switch, and promised to come back later with a replacement. When he could not find the right one, he suggested a motion activated light. He said it would be an easier and less expensive fix than installing a light switch in the wall. I was sceptical about this, but agreed so that we could get a light in the pantry. To my delight, this has proven to be the best thing we could have done! We now have a light that is immediate and hands free. It took minutes to install. And even though the electrician actually made two stops at our house, we were only charged for the installation time.

Kurt was very helpful in performing the repairs, provided several suggestions in how to avoid costs in the future. Provided suggestions on other maintenance issues in the house. He worked very quickly and was very cordial while inside our home. Very professional. Would definitely use again.

They seemed very professional. I had used them in the past and their price was very reasonable. This time the price was a little higher but still reasonable. I felt very comfortable having them out to do more work after they completed the first time for me.

They seemed very professional. The lighting was very reasonably priced. They took extra care in the lighting and I felt comfortable having them back out to do some more work. They had to cut a hole in the wall and they were very clear beforehand what they needed to do. They would always ask me first before doing any work.

The service went well. All of my expectations were met.

I would agree with all the reviews posted before mine (regarding basic services). The electrician arrived before their estimated arrival time (due to another customer's cancellation). And it only took him about an hour for him to complete the work. The cost is more than what I might've paid with another company, but I'm completely happy with the finished product. You get what you pay for. The fan is completely level, and no problems with lighting.

The electrician was on time, immediately went to work, and completed the installation within about two hours. He agreed to remove all the packing materials for the fans he installed. I was pleased with the service he provided.

This is second time that I have used Frye Electric Company in the past six months. I asked for Curt again. He was prompt, appropriately dressed polite, and funny. I bought a microwave oven that was to replace the oven fan/vent over the stove. He knew what he was doing. I appreciated the fact that he didn't put up the microwave after installing the electrical plug since it would have been to low. Instead Curt recommend a carpenter to adjust the cabinet so that the microwave would fit correctly. He could have just installed it and let me unhappy... or he could have tried to mess with the cabinet to make it fit properly...and he could have made me feel stupid for not thinking ahead. His professionalism and warm personality made me feel confident and comfortable. I would highly recommend Curt at Frye Electric company for your electrical needs.

The guy I talked to on the phone gave me the wrong prices. They electrician's that came out wanted to charge me over double what I was quoted. And then when I talked to the owner about the cost they wanted to charge me. The owner called me rude and told me just to pay whatever I thought I should pay, which made me feel bad, especially with the way he said it. So I just paid what the salesman told me over the phone. But I don’t think that good business practice to treat your customers like that and then to just tell them to pay whatever they thought was appropriate.

I called because a neighbor's tree fell on my power line. I called on Monday and Frye Electric came out on Wednesday. That is why I gave a B for responsiveness. We were without power until they could come out. I understand that other people may have been without power since we have had a number of storms lately, but I thought that was still too long. I had 8am to 10 am window and Kurt arrived at 8:30. He took down the old wires and let me paint in back of the pipe before putting it back up. It only took a few minutes for me to slap some paint on (it is hard to get to once the pipe is up), but I appreciated his patience. He fixed everything and checked the box when he was done. Luckily the line pulled free and didn't blow anything in the house. He was done in 1 hour. And we had power -Yeah.
