Chuck built us a BEAUTIFUL second story deck and pergola. This work also included cutting out and installing a new door and installing an electrical outlet. He also removed an old awning on our front porch. I cannot say enough good things about working with Chuck and his crew. We've worked with many contractors over the years, and he by far was the most prompt. He returned phone calls and emails, showed up when he said he was going to and fit us into his schedule quickly. His work was top-notch quality. I would say it definitely exceeded our expectations. He takes great pride in his work, and it shows. I would definitely work with Chuck again in the future and recommend him to anyone.

Chuck was prompt in responding to several e-mails and/or phone calls. He was on-site each day - did the work exactly as planned and finished in a very timely manner. We plan to have more work for him in the future!

I'm very, very happy with the results. The best part? Chuck made sure, prior to beginning, that he understood what I was looking for. And he called at least four times during construction to ask for my preference with regard to some of the smaller design elements. In short, Chuck's communication was excellent, and I think that went a long way toward making me really happy with the end product. Chuck's craftsmanship is also top-notch. Chuck arrived with a co-worker; both were friendly, organized and did excellent work. Old decking was replaced and new looks great. Chuck was very helpful with how the new might be upgraded, and helpful in recommending staining tips and future work. Highly recommend Chuck Javit Construction.

Very pleased and impressed with Chuck and his team. Chuck's crew showed up on time, looked professional, and worked hard for 7 hours straight. When they were finished, we had a really great looking deck. The finished product looks good, the crew and owner were professional, and the cost was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this company.

Chuck responded to my email within 24 hours and also came the next day to look at the porch and give me a quote. It was the most reasonable one that I had received and he came back the next day and did the whole job in a timely fashion. He was the main person and had one other helper. Both very professional and tidy as they cleaned up after themselves and took away all the trash. I would certainly use Chuck again for other jobs.

Chuck, the owner, was very professional and listened to all of my ideas as I was also going to be having a patio installed by another company. I changed things several times and he remained professional and thorough and he did a great job. We are really happy with the way the deck turned out. He was honest and upfront about costs and even discussed with me how to save money through different materials, but was willing to do what I wanted to ensure a quality deck and construction. Very informative and will recommend him to anyone who is looking to add a deck.

Chuck built a beautiful addition to our deck. We asked for a curved edge design instead of a square which was much more labor intensive. His craftsmanship was superb. Chuck is dependable, professional, and punctual. We found Chuck to be extremely attentive to our needs. We believe his price was reasonable. We would highly recommend Chuck's Construction.

Chuck is awesome to work with! He always answers his phone and goes out of his way to make sure everything is the way you like it. They built our deck in one day and it looks awesome! They do really good work, not only on decks and fences but he has advice on everything and knows how to do it. I would recommend him always! Thanks Chuck for all of your hard work!!

Chuck was able to give me a same day estimate when I reached out after finding him on Angie's List. He was extremely knowledgable and provided a quote for a 16x16 on ground deck with two L-shaped built in benches. He was very flexible regarding the build date, and his crew of two finished the whole thing in about 5 hours. I would highly recommend Chuck to anyone wanting a deck, and we plan on giving him a call as soon as we are ready to build a fence as well.

Chuck and his crew of two did a fantastic job installing our new deck and side porch. They began their work early on a Saturday morning and finished the entire project in one day. They were very punctual and polite, and they did a great job with clean-up, etc. Though I never saw a final scale drawing or plan from Chuck before he began building, he did a great job of building exactly what I described to him through images/floor plans I found from the internet. He even suggested adding a few decorative trim pieces to the base of the deck/porch that will really make them stand out once we stain them next year. A few final nice touches.... Chuck was very prompt in responding to my initial inquiry, and he was able to perform the work within a few weeks. I thought that his price was very fair, and he even took $100 off of the total price if I purchased my own post caps (which was my preference anyways). And finally, he bought my husband a dozen select beers to enjoy on our new deck!

They really went above and beyond the call of duty and just did an excellent job on my new deck. The wood looks really good and they even put 2 solar lights on top of the entry posts. It looks great and is no longer dangerous to walk on my new deck. Chuck and his crew cleaned up really well especially since it was snowy and wet when they did the install. I would hire them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a quality deck remover and installer at a reasonable price.
