 + -1 moreWhen you call and answer the phone he is able to get someone out right away. Ours was part of a new construction. They sent someone out to show us how it worked and to make sure it was working properly. We were impressed.

 + -1 moreWe met with several contractors in regard to our water softener. Aqua Systems wasn't the best price, but the small difference was made up by their Angie's List grade and Jason, who came out for the site visit. Our basement is finished and doesn't have a drop ceiling, not an ideal situation. Aqua systems worked with us to get the best result out of the installation. The two installers show up on time and were very professional. The guys really knew what they were doing! I'm sorry I don't recall their names, but they really thought outside of the box and our installation is great. Couldn't be happier!

Description of Work: On 10/4, I noticed leakage of water and salt from the salt tank attached to our water softener. This equipment was installed by Aqua Systems when our home was built approximately 12 years ago. When I called for service, I specifically stated that I knew the technology had changed and I was interested in looking at alternatives vs. trying to fix our current system. An appointment was scheduled for 10/6 and they informed me they would call that morning to give me a specific time frame. On the morning of 10/6, I was called and told they would be here between 2:00 and 4:00. At approximately 3:50, I called the Fishers location (since I am in that service area) to check on the serivce call. I was told someone would return my call. THEY DID NOT. So then, I called the Avon location since I was led to believe that all service is scheduled through that location. I spoke with someone in service who indicated that the service man could "probably be there within the hour"... which meant it could be after 5:00 by the time he would arrive . The person with whom I spoke said it would only take around 5 minutes to put in the new tank...ie, their intention was to just replace what I have vs. what I had requested...ie, an evaluation of installing a new system. Thus, I asked if they could come tomorrow for the purpose I had originally requested. I was then told the earliest they could be here would be NEXT TUESDAY - October 12th....which means we would have continued leakage from this unit for EIGHT DAYS!!! I hung up - called back AGAIN and asked for the Service Manager. I'm not really sure they even have one - but I was connected with Derek (Derrick) who listened to my rant and then responded that "IF" we can come tomorrow...... IF they could come tomorrow after totally disregarding the appointment today AND my request for an evaluation of a new system. These comments are not only directed to the Avon locaton, but Fishers and wherever else they are located, because their pathetic service comes from one location. I might point out that we have done business with this company for approximately 12 years - including service on our r/o system.... and this is NOT the first time that they have failed to show up for a service appt. I've certainly learned my lesson and will never do business with them in the future.... Their customer service (or total lack thereof) deserves an F-

 + 0 moreThis was the third time we had to get Aqua Systems back out to our home. We were disappointed that it took three times for them to find the true problem. Mike said that about eight years ago Aqua Systems had put a bad connector port on these systems. We wished Aqua Systems could have taken more responsibility in this error. We wished that Aqua Systems would have notified us (they had our contact info) as soon as they found out that they had used faulty or defective parts on our water softener as this could have saved us much effort and money instead of having to figure this out the hard way, hence the decreased score in grading this company.
Description of Work: They re assessed the water and water softeners due to continual water problems.

 + 0 moreInspected old, competitor's brand, water softener that was no longer working...leaking & corroding. Recommended new, larger model for our large house. Suggested to cleanup piping and remove the filter system too. They removed old & disposed of it back in the spring...per our request. We asked for time to repaint the walls & floor from the ws damage. When our projects were finished, Friday 8/20, we called them to schedule the install. They were very prompt, organized, and clean.
Description of Work: Replaced water softener, removed filter system, and cleaned up plumbing lines to ws.

They handled it very punctually and they answered question. Their response was very timeless. It was like a seamless experience. Their price is a little on the high side.

They said that, that was not the one that we had ordered and that it was on back order. They said that they would come and install it when it came in, which they didn?t do. However, it didn?t really mater to me because the faucet that they put in was fine.

Description of Work: After years of difficulty with an ARS iron filter, we decided to rent one from Aqua Systems rather than buy another. It seems to work fine. I'd rather rent from them indefinitely than go through the aggravation of owning one that doesn't work properly.

They always ask what you actually want up front and what you want to pay, which I appreciate. [UPDATE - After about a year and half, the resin tank malfunctioned and spewed resin into the house plumbing, clogging the pipes at every faucet and toilet. Although they were not able to send anyone on the weekend when I discovered the problem, they sent a person on the following Monday to replace the resin tank and unclog the pipes for free under warranty. They also confirmed that they would cover the increase in my water bill resulting from the purging process. I am pleased with the promptness and quality of service given the circumstances.]
