+ -1 moreI was expecting a very modest crew to show up given the competitive price and the fact that I was corresponding with them via a g-mail account. It was a nice surprise when two neatly labeled Yahne vans showed up for the job. One van had a supervisor that helped the crew get started and then left after about an hour. He came back as the job was nearing completion. They were careful to put down coverings on our floors so as not to track on our carpet. A/C works like a charm! Yahne was originally recommended to us by a friend (sorry Angie's List), but I wanted to give them a nice review here since they did a nice job for us.
Description of Work: Replaced our failed (only 11 year old) Carrier A/C with the new environmentally friendly Bryant version.

Description of Work: Yahne heating has been the heating/AC company that has provided service for us the past 10 years. The company did the planning and install furnaces when we built a new home and has continued to service that location. We are now moving and Yahne Heating is doing the hvac work and regular service at the new place of residence.

+ -1 moreYahne's keeps appointments, unlike other places. If they say they are going to be at your house at 9 O'Clock, that's when they will be there, maybe a few minutes early, which I like. They call you if they may be a few minutes late. They leave the area clean, and are friendly and professional. I am thankful that I found Yahne's Heating and Air Conditioning. Yahne's explains things, and there is no high pressure sales from them! They show you what is wrong before they start work. They are honest and competent, and priced lower than other places I checked. Who could ask for anything more?
Description of Work: We are completely satisfied with Yahne, and I wouldn't have anyone else! Before we found Yahne's we were ripped off by another company who didn't check things he should have. They put freon in our unit, and it lasted 3 days, and our a/c didn't work at all after that. That cost us nearly $300 for nothing! We called Jack Yahne, and he certainly knows what he is doing. He repaired the a/c, and things were fine after that. Recently our OLD furnace needed replaced, and we knew we would, definitely, get Jack Yahne from Avilla. Jack Yahne gave me an option of repairing or installing a new furnace, and after a discussion, I told him I thought it would be best to install a new furnace, with a humidifier; He agreed with me, but I was the one who made the decisions after he listed the pros and cons. Neither of us saw many pros with the old furnace. I am very pleased with the work done, I highly recommend Jack Yahne!

I had a new system put in a couple of years ago and no one had been out to look at it since so I thought someone should come and check it out. They sent two guys out; one did the heating and the other the AC. They did a nice job and I would call them back in a heartbeat. I think their pricing was reasonable. They came right out so they were very responsive.

+ -1 moreThey will call to see if we want them to come out and do the service. If the filters do not need to be replaced, then they will not replace them. They will show them to me and give me their advice. They did install the heating and cooling system. They have been honest and great with their services. One time, my heat went out with a power surge and I called them and they were able to tell me what to do to start the unit over the phone without a charge.
Description of Work: They came out to do the fall servicing and they replaced filters, etc. We have a 2 furnacess and 2 air condtitioners with a 4 zone system.
