SUPERIOR HOME INSPECTION

We had spoken to Stan about ten days prior to our inspection. We wanted to have our house inspected, so that we could identify any potential maintenance issues. We knew that we needed to replace our 20+ year old roof, but we wanted our skylight and chimney given a thorough look-over before proceeding with the roof work. Since we were going to incur that expense, we elected to have a complete inspection. Stan suggested that we have him perform a "pre-listing" level inspection, so that he would not just do a "nuts & bolts" review of the basic mechanical components of the home, but also do a very detailed (as in a 45-page report!) look-through, detailing every deficiency, so that we could select which issues to address from the list he would generate. Stan spent more than 3 hours, and completed his very thorough review, pointing out to us as he went along particular issues of concern, and how we might want to address each of them. Finally, the next morning, we received his report by email. It contained all of his findings, and pictures to document any critical issues. The summary sheet was of particular help, as it stratified concerns by importance, giving us a working list to help us address issues by order of risk. Stan was professional, pleasant, and helpful throughout the inspection process. We heartily recommend him to anyone looking for a thorough home inspection professional.
