I've used them over the last couple of years. They have a very good product. They're honest and they communicate very well. I will be using them again.

Troy and Rachel Pierce of Create-a-Crete did an outstanding job, essentially saving our old concrete patio slab. They stripped the old surface, grinding off a bad epoxy job and removing the top layer of the pitted concrete surface, patched the cracks, skimcoated it for a new smooth surface, applied a textured surface over that, and then applied several coats of pigmented sealer to finish it--of course allowing each layer to dry before beginning on the next, which with the perfect weather we had that day, they were able to do the job in one day. Our patio surface now looks like a well-executed pool deck, and the textured surface is beautiful and provides traction. It was a real pleasure to watch Troy and Rachel work, and to interact with them ? nice folks. While most other contractors shied away from our project (in one case giving us a similar estimate only to strip the surface by sandblasting--re-sealing would have been extra!), Troy quoted us a simple $6/square foot for everything: resurfacing/grinding, repairs, new skimcoat and concrete texture, and pigmented sealant. And they had no problems incorporating two simple stripes, which they rendered expertly. These guys definitely know what they're doing. We would use them again in an instant. They are well worth the money, and a much better alternative to jackhammering and replacing a perfectly good, structurally sound original concrete slab.

I did not use this provider yet there is not way to indicate that on this review form. You are forcing me to grade someone that I haven't used and it is unprofessional and unethical..

My job was too small for them to do. They sent me my money back.

They came out and surveyed the extent of damage to an old concrete pool pad/patio. Determined it would have to be replaced rather than resurfaced. So a request was made to Angie to refund Deal.

The guys from Create-a-Crete were very nice and on time. I just decided not to do the work at that time.

He came out to look at the project. He was honest and upfront about my project not being his area of expertise. He was very nice and issued me a check for a refund. He was very professional.

We had a new concrete patio poured in 2008. Cracks appeared the following year. He came out and repaired and sealed them. The crack was getting bigger and i was willing to pay for the services, he would not honor the Angie's List special ( which Angie's list refunded)

Very honest, said he would refund amt due to the minor repair.

I ended up getting a refund for the deal because I called the company and they couldn’t do the small job I had for what they were advertising.

Troy Pierce , the owner of this company, is knowledgeable and courteous. After a site review and interview he responds to your questions with answers and suggestions. He calls "a spade a spade" and will not accept an order for something that he, his product, and or service can not provide. If you subscribe to his service you will be pleased. Troy and his crew are dependable,hardworking, efficient and clean up after their work. The concrete overlay is not cheap but it does enhance and improve the aesthetics of your patio, pool deck, or whatever concrete surface you may want altered.

The experience with Mr Pierce at Create-a-crete was very good and I will use him again.

I was very satisfied with them. I interviewed two companies. I was stratified with the job they did.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal to obtain a free quote and a discount on labor for a few hours. I contacted the provider but never received a response from them. I telephoned the provider and left a message on their voice mail. I did not receive any followup. I finally emailed the provider and I did receive a 2 sentence reply that my job did not meet their $2,000 minimum. The Big Deal did not call out a minimum purchase. Angie's List refunded my money. The provider's customer service is extremely dissatisfactory. I would never contact this Company in the future.

They did not indicate in the BigDeal that there was a $2000 minimum and said they could not help us.

Troy, the owner, was very responsive and prompt. I had used him 4 years ago and was very pleased with the work that was done. He provides a high quality product. The only negative was a substantial amount of concrete dust got into the pool. They should have shrink wrapped the pool before grinding and sanding the concrete. Troy covered the cost to clean the pool.

When Mr. Duran came out to give me a quote he listened to what I wanted and then showed me pictures of his previous work. He had a variety of colors and styles to choose from, and choose I did. He was very courteous and did not push. When I asked him to proceed with the project, he was flexible to my schedule. Mr. Duran and his crew showed up on time on day one. They cleared and prepped the site before lunch, poured the concrete in the afternoon and had it stamped and stained by dinner. They left a clean yard, picking up everything and taking it away. The next day they were back to seal the concrete. The entire crew was polite and meticulous. I am definitely going to have them back to widen my driveway as soon as it's in the budget.

I purchased a BigDeal coupon. I called them to schedule an appointment, and they never responded. I emailed them about this, and I finally got a response. I tried to schedule an appointment, and they said that they would come out the next day to look at my house for the estimate. It has been a week and I have gotten no response back.

They did not tell me it would apply to jobs costing more than $2,000. This was not made clear to me. They were straight-forward with me about it.

It went better then anticipated, especially with all the rain we have had this spring.

The owner is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He was prompt in giving us a quote and gave advice on best way to fix our problem. The work was done in two times to give the new pour adequate time to cure before resurfacing. They were hard workers as they had to break up a section during the hottest week of the year. We were very pleased with the results as it turned out better than expected.

I think they did a good job. I did dig out the part I wanted them to do and they did end up doing a bit extra but they did not charge me anything extra for the extra work.
