Mike hired his brother Scott to come repair a leak on my refrigerator on 11/17/09. Then on 12/8/09 I received a bill from Scott. My insurance covered the work that Mike did but not the bill that Scott sent to me. My insurance company says that this is a matter to be resolved between this company and myself. I never hired Scott, Mike did and since he did this bill should be forwarded to Mike "His Brother". Any sub contracted work should fall under the estimate given. I rate Royal Flush as an F because the service was not contracted by me but rather his brother mike starks. And as such I feel I should never have receive this bill in the first place. Mike Starks never informed me that the work to be done was an collaborative effort between himself and his brother "Owner of Royal Flush Plumbing". This information was only made known upon the surprised receipt of the bill of $146.65 from Royal Flush Plumbing on December 8 2009 for service performed on November 17 2009.
Description of Work: Scott Starks is the brother of Mike Starks. Mike hired in Scott to install an on line shut off valve for the ice maker.

Response from American Carpet And Tile Cleaning
AmeriClean Carpet and Tile Cleaning was contacted by her to come to her condo and clean up water damage. Her insurance carrier notified her the following day of the amount they would pay for this job. Upon arriving at the condo, AmeriClean found that the water was still leaking and in order to stop the leak, a shut off valve would need to be installed on the water line supplying the refrigerator. She was immediately notified that this was the case. She was asked if she had a plumber that she wanted to call to immediately fix this problem. She stated, " no just call someone" and therefore AmeriClean contacted Royal Flush Plumbing to come and install the shut-off valve. IF the valve was not installed, the only other choice would be to shut all water off to the condo until the leak could be fixed. This too was explained to her. ( Please note: both AmeriClean and Royal Flush are on the approved vendors list for this condo association). AmeriClean does have various sub-contractors that assist them with work, from time to time, on an as needed bases. Sub-contractors were used to move her furniture with her present to observe and instruct workers where she wanted the various pieced placed. The owner of AmeriClean was there while furniture was moved out. No rips or other damage was noticed while moving furniture out of unit. She had a different group of persons move her furniture back into the unit after repairs were complete. AmeriClean owner nor his workers were present when furniture was moved back into unit. The reason why AmeriClean asked if she was the owner of the condo unit is because, all work must be approved by the true owner of the unit. In and around the Anderson University area, many of the units are owned by other individuals and simply used as rental properties. The owner of AmeriClean jsut wanted to be sure that he had the correct person's approval for the work to be done. Michael Starks-Owner

I rated American Carpet Cleaning and Tile a "C" because I felt like he was trying to pressure me to involve himself in other aspects of the job. I was also uncomfortable how he handled my furniture. He went to move my china cabinet with all my fine and delicate dishware that was still in the cabinet. Other pieces of my furniture were torn by a hook in my garage. I did not think that he had acquired the professionalism to handle this type of stuff. And the drying out of the water was incomplete and a another company had to come in and take days to remove water from the kitchen and the breakfast room, along with the crawlspace. This has also caused me to acquire an allergy from the extended time it took for my home to be completely dried out.
Description of Work: I hired Mike to provide cleaning and drying of water damaged floors caused by a water line break emanating from my refrigerator.
