 + 1 moreWe hired him because he was local and knew the local codes. We gave him a downpayment of $800 to start work on Oct 19, 2010. He started and then came back and asked for more money. The original estimate was only $1000-1200. He stated he ran into some problems and explained that it would cost more. He gave us an estimated time fraim for completion. He then billed us for an additional $1000. We gave him that money on Oct. 23, 2010. He came to us a third time asking for an additional $1700, and we said we wanted to talk to him first. When we went to the property all of his equipment was gone. He had not completed any of the work. He left everything half way done. Now we're left with an unfinished home and have to hire someone else to finish the job. He was over three times more than the initial estimate. The work that he had done was poorly done, sloppy, and incomplete. Everything that he did has had issues.
Description of Work: They did misc. plumbing, electrical, and drywall.

 + 1 moreThis was the first time we had used their services. It went very well. They provide good and friendly service. They worked hard and they stuck to the estimate.
Description of Work: They sided our house and painted our barn and our deck. He installed a shower door as well.
