+ -1 moreCalled and scheduled appointment on Friday May 26, 2023 for Tuesday May 30th between 1 :00 and 3:00 to have my air conditioning heat pump checked for a leak. Recieved call from Alaska Heating and Cooling on the day of the appointment stating they overbooked and would not be able to keep the appointment. The lady said that Angi would call me back when their was an opening. I called Alaska back late afternoon and Angi said I could not schedule an appointment because they were booked for the next few weeks. They were a person short and I could not be worked in on any day. Not sure about this company, got a bad vibe from Angi. If they did not want to work on my unit they just should have said so. Would not reccomend this business. I was not sure what was going on.
Description of Work: Air conditioning heat pump needed to be checked. It was not working properly.

+ -1 moreIt was just fine. I would definitely recommend them. They are prompt and friendly.
Description of Work: We have local people that take care of us and we use Alaska Heating & Cooling. We had them in the fall. We had an issue that they took care of. We had a clogged drain in the furnace. There was an issue with where it was supposed to drain the extra fluid and it was leaking out on our floor. They had that cleaned out and got us back in business.

+ -1 moreThe ignition on my furnace went out in the winter and they were able to get here in 20 minutes and fixed it within an hour. For an emergency service, their price was very reasonable. And I was happy with their overall service.

+ -1 moreSmoothly- we knew the TXV valve was bad for awhile. Alaska HVAC sent us a quote and called us when the part was in(it took awhile as it had to be ordered from the manufacturer).Since we'd been using them for our geothermal needs we decided to use them again since they knew our system, and what service they had already done. We then made an appointment and they came out and installed it in a timely professional manner.
Description of Work: Replaced TXV valve in our aging geothermal unit-and, they have done other work for us in the past-new fan, electrical contacts, adjustment of water flow and freon levels. They have always been there when needed.
