Water Tight Plumbing & Sewer Service

When called to ask for service there was no information given except the 3 hour window when he would be arriving. When he arrived he said that the pipes underneath the sink needed to be repaired and it would cost around $500.00. I wanted to get a second opinion so he asked for $149.00 for his time. He was there for maybe 20 minutes. I would not pay him the $149.00 so he said only $49.00 for showing up. When I asked him about companies that usually did free estimates he stated that I should have asked for that on the phone. Very unprofessional and will not use again.

Steve came out promptly after we called to give us an estimate on the job which were were quite satisfied with. He seemed enthusiastic to do the job, but thats where it ended. When we called to schedule the job Steve said the date would work,but he wanted to do it first thing in the morning , which was a problem with our work schedule. I told him I would have to call him back on that.. I confirmed with a neighbor to let him in and called him back 2 days later. I called the number and got a voicemail on which I left a message, asking him to please call me. I did not receive a call back. I called again a couple of days later and I talked to him about scheduling the job and that I had a neighbor that could let them in. He said he did not have his schedule book with him. I asked him to just call me back and let me know if that would work. He said why dont you call me on Monday. I called back on Monday and spoke with the receptionist about scheduling the job. She said he was on another line and would call me right back. Well I never heard from him. Its frustrating because we wanted to hire him to do the job, but he never returned the call to schedule it

When asking for an estimate to replace an old toilet in the basement, he was pointing out other things as well that needed "fixing." Told me I should have a sprinkler system installed by the furnace, and the hot water heater replaced; also mentioned having to redo some piping. Did give an estimate on the toilet, however he included all the other projects he said needed to be done in the quote. He was polite when I told him that since we had just had some major expenses recently that we were not able to do it at this time. Is Water Tight now encouraging their workers to include in their estimates other jobs that the customer didn't ask for as well as the original request?

These guys were great! I had chosen another vendor on Angie's List who didn't show up twice. I called Water Tight and they were out within a few hours of my call, had the repairs done in half an hour and charged about $500 less than I was previously quoted by the other vendor. Bill and Tomas were great, very communicative before and during the repair. I wouldn't hesitate to call these guys again!

The work is not quite finished yet, but I am very happy with the overall job so far. Everyone has been professional and easy to work with.

They were clean, efficient, knowledgeable and prompt. They were excellent. In the future, if I needed to I would use their services again.

We were having issues with a foul smell in the sump pump pit. I called WaterTight for a diagnosis and an estimate. Steve was at our house within 2 hours. After inspecting the area, he suspected that the septic line coming out of the house was leaking. He gave me a preliminary estimate upon which I told him to proceed. Within 1 hour, two of his plumbers were digging outside the house and confirmed that the pipe had ruptured. They determined the materials needed and said they would be back at 8:30 the next day. They showed up on time and proceeded to make the repair. They had to bore through the concrete foundation to remove the old pipe and reconfigured the interior plumbing to make any future clean out jobs easier. They recemented the pipe in the wall and tarred the outside area to minimize the chance of any water leakage. They refilled the area with gravel, covered the area with dirt and put back the landscaping stone. The plumbers (Bill and Tomas) were very professional and courteous. I was very pleased with the overall experience and would highly recommend Watertight.

I called the office mid-day on Wednesday; someone answered right away. I explained the situation with water coming up out of the drain when the washing machine emptied. She told me to clean it out it would be 160 and someone could be there Friday morning. I was not home, but my grown son was here, and all went well. The even looked at my leaking sink for me at the last minute.

Workers were very professional. Company rearranged its schedule for Monday morning in order to attend to my problem, which had caused severe plumbing problems in my house. Nature of the work required workers to come in and out of the house. They were very careful to be neat and polite throughout the all-day repair job. There was one minor misstep with the invoice, but the office fixed it immediately and was very apologetic. Highly recommended.

He was there on time. He gave me an estimate. He sent me a mail regarding another company and was very negative in saying things about them. I didn’t appreciate that. I would not use them in the future.

The man who came to our house was courteous and helpful.

We found the leak on Friday night when we arrived home from work. Steve came out to help us shut off our water Friday night on his way home. Later we found that what we thought was our B-Box in our yard was not ours. Steve came out Saturday and helped us find ours buried in our yard. He dug it up and got our water off. Monday they showed up to replace the line. Work was done well and at a great price. We really appreciated the extra time Steve spent on a Friday and Saturday to help us get our water shut off. Will be the first person we call if we need any plumbing work.

Watertight was done in three days. They were very professional. And the result was better then I had hoped.

everything went great. I'm glad I don't have to worry about water in my basement again.

They came right over and handled the problem with minimal hassle and cleaned up well after the job was complete. Fast and courteous service.

Wasn't there. Family member was present and said everything went well and worker knew what he was doing.

They are very good. We have been using them for the last twelve years. The owner, Steve, is the one who calls to see what is going on. He is good at quoting the prices. He sends out good people. Seldom do they have to go back to the shop. They can fix it on the spot. When we were shampooing our carpets once we got a part logged in the toilet. They came out on the weekend and were unable to get it out. We thought they were going to have to install a new toilet. They came back on a Monday and tried to again get the part out and they were able to. That saved us the price of a new toilet.

Company representative arrived promptly as promised. He drained and removed the old water heater carefully without spilling residue from old one onto the carpeting. He installed the new water heater, cutting and sweating new pipes versus using standard connections. He tested the new water heater and went over it completely with me before he left.

They were pleasant, professional, the owner of the company did respond very quickly after some miscommunication and he had it resolved.

A crew of two plumbers showed up on time. They immediately knew the source of the problem (grease clog), however the drain unbeknownst to us had become unclogged from hot water we had poured down it the night before. So they checked that we had reconnected the pipes and told us to pour boiling water down the drain each month. At that point we were happy. Then, as a result of out the kitchen drain problem they found other things they thought needed fixed (a drain pipe with a small crack, a fitting on the hot water heater that looked like it was leaking, the garbage disposal that was making a noise that needed replaced - all in a house that's 3 years old). It was like going to the dentist just to get your teeth cleaned and the dentist took it as an opportunity to treat your mouth like a gold mine, or to a mechanic opening your hood to fix one problem and finding several others that needed fixed. That part we didn't like, and politely told the guys to go.

WHEN I CALLED TO ASK HIM TO WORK WITH ME- HE WAS VERY RUDE AND HAD A VERY BAD ATTITUDE.

VERY DISAPPOINTING. PREVIOUSLY THEY REPLACED A BRASS TOILET FLANGE FOR A GOOD PRICE ($350). ALTHOUGH I HAD TO RESEAT TOILET AFTERWARDS? SECOND JOB, I TOLD THEM I HAD ROUTED THE DRAIN AND USED SULFURIC ACID WITH NO SUCCESS. AGREED JOB WOULD COST NO MORE THAN $120 AND LESS 1HR. 2-3 HOURS OF ROUTING LATER, DRAIN STILL CLOGGED, WAS TOLD THEY COULDN'T FINISH WITHOUT PUTTING HOLES IN THE WALL. THEN I ASKED HOW MUCH I OWED HE SAID $160!!! I REFUSED AND ASKED FOR A REASONABLE PRICE OR AT LEAST WHAT I WAS QUOTED, WAS SHOUTED AT AND THREATENED WITH COLLECTIONS AND BEING A DEADBEAT. FINALLY ABLE TO HAGGLE $100. IN THE END NOTHING FIXED, LEFT A MESS AND WASTED MY TIME. THEY HAD TO BORROW TOWELS & CALL IN THE BOSS, THEN TRIED TO OVERCHARGE BECAUSE THEY WASTED SO MUCH TIME PUTZING AROUND. I GUESS THESE GUYS ARE USED TO HELPLESS HOMEOWNERS WHO NEED THE TOILET PLUNGED FOR $100...
