Chris and his crew did a fantastic job, completing the project on time and on budget. They provided up front ideas and recommendations that fit in with our vision and it was clear that they are experienced in their trade. I would recommend UpperDeck to anyone who is looking to add a new deck or remodel an existing deck. We are very satisfied with the end product and the open lines of communication throughout the process.

I got Chrisâ info from a coworker who had his deck installed by UpperDeck and he was very happy with the result. I saw the pictures and called Chris for the job. We met with Chris several times to plan the project before jumping into it. I threw him a curveball in that I needed not only an addition to my existing deck, but also wanted a dry storage place under the addition not visible. Chris tackled the challenge and knocked it out of the park, getting his concrete contact involved who dealt with a gnarly grade in the yard to get the concrete pad poured. The deck crew came in and did beautiful workâ ¦true craftsmen of their trade. Great guys in general to interact with and they paid so much attention to detail. Chris and his crew brought our half-developed vision and idea to reality plus more. These guys are great at what they do and I encourage anyone wanting a new deck to stop searching and call them!

I'm very pleased with Chris and his team. They removed my old deck, taking care not to disturb the existing landscaping, cleaned up and left nothing behind. The new deck was the same design as the old with one slight change. David and Chad who did the work were pleasant, professional and hard workers. David kept me informed as to the time frame and they adhered to the schedule. One small light was on order and had to be installed at a later. Chris called to let me know when it would be installed and it was done on schedule. My new deck is lovely!

Chris is so terrific to work with! We wanted a high quality deck replacement and he totally delivered! He was a total professional from start to finish. I actually ran into Chris, the owner, in town and saw his van and inquired about a deck. Even though it was the end of the day and he was headed out, he opened up his trunk and gave me a solid presentation of options based on my query. After reviewing everything with my wife, we immediately got in touch because we wanted it done in about 4.5 weeks. Chris got right on the design and communicated with me along the way. He was good at responding and he always left a message or contacted me in a timely manner. Once everything was agreed on, we talked about labor and he appropriately pro-rated us for digging our own post holes and other related labor. The materials were delivered exactly when he told me it would be and the work began immediately after the permit was approved (which he also did and provided the receipt for). His employees and contractors were all very professional. They arrived on time and worked while they were on-site. They asked questions when they thought it was appropriate and were more than willing to stop working to talk about a concern or design inquiry. The work was completed in the time we asked for, and Chris made sure it would happen and his team was excellent. We are extremely happy with the way our deck turned out in such a short time period and I would definitely recommend Upper Deck Design and Construction for anyone in my region.

We can't say enough good things about Chris and Upper Deck. We first thought of doing a deck demo and re-build, but then decided on a patio. Chris was patient and knowledgeable in both areas. He listens well to what the customer is thinking/wanting and offers options that best suit the customer's needs. He was responsive to emails, calls, and texts. He kept us up to date with every step of the project. We couldn't be happier with our new stamped patio with corner walls. All that's left for us to to is finish assembling the gazebo and enjoying our patio.

These guys are great to work with. Switched to have our deck to go from wood to composite and planned to build an addition for a hot tub install. Chris had great communication throughout the process, and went above and beyond to get our deck project done. Dave and crew did a great job with the prep and build out of the project. We were considering repairing a 30yr old deck or replacing it with composite. Chris was there from the beginning to the end the of the project. He helped assess the current deck, design, and provided multiple options. If you ask him what he would do if it were his deck, he would give you an honest answer. He brought samples and gave recommendations on materials and colors for the house. I met with other builders about the project and none met the same level of investment in the project, most were more hands-off in varying degrees and relied on us to make decisions and find the right material. Chris and his team did a great job from the demo, build, and to the final clean-up. They take pride in their work and treat the project as if it were their own. He communicated frequently throughout the entire project and the team worked quickly and efficiently. The deck came out looking great and we look forward to many trouble free years enjoying it.

"Upper Deck" is the best. I had done my research and homework on composite decking. I met with many deck builders and got my share of estimates. I got lucky to have had Chris, owner of "Upper Deck", meet with me. All aspects of my deck tear down and rebuild went smooth. Chris and Dennis are fabulous, hard working, and knowledgeable guys. I love my deck and the lighting system that Chris surprised me with.

Chris did an excellent job replacing some of our rotting deck boards and some repair work on our very large deck. Chris does good quality work in a timely manner. He is very detailed and gives you lots of options. Chris had also replaced some interior doors for us with the 6 panel wood and they look beautiful. I would definitely hire him again.

Our cedar fence started leaning quite a bit to the point we were afraid it would topple over. Chris and his crew arrived on time and immediately started removing twelve rotting posts and the concrete they were set in and installed new ones. They completed the job the same day. The posts are plumb and sturdy as ever. I highly recommend him and would gladly be a reference if needed.

Chris and crew are awesome! My first contractor bailed and he jumped in and saved the day! So honest and knowledgeable, he makes sure you get what you are dreaming. He is so passionate in his work! Top notch, 100% satisfied!
