Chris answered my first call.After explaining what was needed, we set an appointment date. He was prompt and completed the job efficiently.

Chris exceeded our expectations on multiple levels. I took me almost a year to find a contractor that I felt comfortable hiring. His quote was neatly laid out and broken down by plumbing, electrical, drywall, etc... His time estimate was very close to what was in the quote. We wanted to use our own painter and he found some unexpected problems with our basement which he was able to work around. We also changed the layout slightly during the project which he gladly modified. He clearly communicated when he would be at the house and returned our messages when we had concerns. On New Year's Day we had some pipes freeze due to poor work that was done by HVAC repair service that was unrelated to Chris. Chris stopped by, and temporarily fixed the problem and gave us suggestions on who to contact to apply a permanent fix. Things that exceeded our expectations: We asked for a utility sink in our laundry room and we were expecting a cheap plastic standalone sink. Chris suggested as reasonably priced alternative to drop a utility sink into some cabinetry. The modern banister he installed was much nicer then we envisioned. The built in custom entertainment center worked perfectly with what we were looking for. Even though I told him that I didn't need my unfinished shop to be insulated, he used the spare insulation in that area which was a great improvement. He cleaned up the support under our stairs to create extra storage for my lawn mowers or snow blower storage. This frees up space in my garage! I would consider him for future projects and to anyone looking to do a remodel. Note: The fireplace in the pictures was not worked on by Chris as we have hired another contractor for this job and it is not finished.

It went very well. It took about 4 hours and looks awesome! I will definitely be using Artisan for our future home improvement projects.

Artisan was very professional from the beginning and was patient with us while we got other bids (which took a few months). Artisan continued to follow up and ended up aligning the best with what we were trying to accomplish -- a quality finished basement for a reasonable price. The other companies tried to sell us things we were not interested in or were just too expensive with general contractor fees adding to the overall cost. Artisan met with us a couple times to go over plans before starting construction, but even during construction would answer any questions we had or make modifications to the plan. With any large job there are quirks that need to be worked around and Artisan did a great job giving us options to choose from. We're very happy with the end result and would use Artisan again for future improvement projects. I've added some photos to show progress at different phases to highlight how Artisan took a completely unfinished basement and turned it into a great living space.

What a fantastic job! Wonderful owner and craftsmen...Gave us exactly what we had in mind and also had great suggestions too! Would definitely hire again for any kind of construction. They were so helpful when discovering a major problem that was found with our original construction and they knew exactly how to resolve the issue. Thanks guys!!!

Excellent. Chris is professional, honest, knowledgeable, and great to work with. We had no issues at all, and the work he did was top quality all around. We had extensive work done, from electrical to plumbing to custom details and he did it all beautifully. He was very thorough and made sure we knew what was going on the entire time. He told us it would take about 9 -10 weeks and he was spot on. For as big as a job as this was, it was the easiest and least stressful project we have ever taken on. I have no doubt that we will hire him again for future projects.

Although Artisan Enterprises Inc. is a general contractor, we saw that they are licensed electricians, so we gave them a call to see if they would be interested in our small project. They found time for us and we found them to be prompt, courteous, caring and thorough. I would welcome them in my house to do other work.
