We contacted 3 tree service contractors. JAD from Cary, IL., priced their estimate at half the price of the lowest estimate. I contacted the company to say we would accept their estimate and that same day they arrived with what I would describe as the "big guns". A sizable cherry picker, a truck for mulch, a mulch-er capable of grinding a 2 foot tree trunk, and a small front loader. The men put signs up to block the walkway, and began immediately to cut top limbs off using the cherry picker. The cutter appeared very knowledgeable, took precautions. As he dropped the limbs the other men were grinding. The 2 trees were quite large, but the job was done in less than 4 hours. Each man seemed to have a specialty. 1 cutting, 1 grinding, 1 lifting and loading large limbs. They were very professional. They were quick. All the rubbish was cleared from the lawn and sidewalk. I was truly impressed with a job well done.
