We purchased a foreclosed home last winter, and - as might be expected - the place needed some work. We first called Woodstock Heating because they had a sticker on our (non-functioning) furnace. The technician on that call was able to come to our home the same day we called, and we were really happy with the promptness, service and price. So when we discovered (what a surprise) that the central air conditioner wasn't working we again called Woodstock Heating. Once again, they were able to come quickly, assess the problem, and offer a variety of solutions. We chose to replace the unit and within a couple of days were were cool and happy. I can't say enough great things about this outfit. Just when I think this kind of business no longer exists, a company like this one comes along and reminds me that there are great small businesses out there ready to provide speedy, competent service at a good price. Hopefully we won't need another emergency service call, but if we do, they'll be the ones we call.

We landed at Harding Real Estate because we were looking to buy a home in Woodstock and passed a house that looked interesting, and it had a Harding sign in the yard. We didn't end up purchasing that particular home, but our agent at Harding ("Lynn") was a dream-come-true, in terms of her willingness to go above and beyond the call to help us find just the right property. We called, and that same day she sent us a list of a dozen of the top listings that met our criteria. Day or night, she answered her phone, or in the rare instance we had to leave a voicemail, we heard back from her in less than an hour. When we decided to make an offer, she walked us through the (somewhat complicated) process of purchasing a FNMA "Home Path" foreclosure, and made sure our offer was submitted correctly and speedily. Thanks to her diligence, we managed to get the home, despite the fact that there were competing bidders and time was absolutely of the essence. I can't say enough good things about this local business. Their office may be small, with only a handful of agents, but they are all consummate professionals. There's no question we'll return to Harding the next time we are in the market for a real estate purchase (or sale).
