This company ripped up our blacktop driveway and installed a new concrete driveway. Everyone that I dealt with in this company was very nice, polite, and willing to answer all my questions. The crew was extremely friendly and hard-working. They were on time every single day, and when they were done, they cleaned everything up and left no messes. I would definitely recommend this company!

This was a job to put down concrete to divert water from the house and remove the water from down spouts and sump pump around the house. The project was very professional and communication was great all the way through the process. The trench drain and pitch have been great especially with the rain we received this year. Would highly recommend this company. You may be able to save a few bucks somewhere else but I have seen some of these jobs and a wet basement is not worth a few bucks. You will not be disappointed in this company and the experience.

We hired Cal and Shans for a brick paver patio, a brick walkway and a boulder wall. They were on time, amazing to work with, super helpful and knowledgeable and did an incredible job. We get so many compliments on our yard!! Thank you Todd and crew for an awesome job well done.

Love our new patio!!! Cal and Shans did a stamped concrete patio with a garden area for us. They did an excellent job. The patio and garden area looks great. It actually looks better than I imagined. Todd, Ross, and the crew were a pleasure to work with and very friendly. They were very helpful in the design of the patio. The crew was always on time and cleaned up afterward. Thanks to them, we can now enjoy our summer on our new patio. They delivered excellent customer service. We will definitely recommend this company to other people.

We used Cal and Shan's when we were looking to replace our driveways, sidewalk, patio and install a handicapped accessible ramp and we could not be more pleased. We mentioned that we had some landscaping work we wanted to do and they went out of their way to be accomodating and helpful. Everyone from the top to the bottom was extremely friendly, capable and neat. The work was done on time and by their expressed schedule. The level of creativity and responsibility for our property was amazing. They went over and above what was in their contract, we are extremely pleased and would recommend them to everyone. We have dealt with many contractors and find Cal and Shan's the top of the list! Their philosophy is that they will treat your property as if it was their own, and they follow it meticulously. Their workmanship was phenomenal.

Absolutely fantastic from the first meeting throughout the entire job. We had a concrete driveway, new fieldstone retaining walls, new steps, along with a brick walkway and entry to the house installed. In addition, we had ten giant trees planted. Todd and his crew were professional, knowledgeable, and fastidious during this process. They alerted us to any potential problems, listened to us when we had concerns, and worked with us to ensure a wonderful completion of the project. I was especially impressed with Todd’s knowledge and insistence on correct drainage throughout the process, including drainage that might affect our neighbors. We even added a few smaller projects to help with existing drainage problems. I can’t say enough about how terrific this experience was and how pleased we are with the results. I guess that saying we are having them back next year to do some landscaping might say it all!

We had an overgrown backyard deck space that needed a lot of help. We had a number of contractors come and speak with us about concrete and paver patios, but Todd at Cal & Shan's was the most thorough. He listened to what we wanted and put together a free 3D virtual layout. My husband is a very visual person and this is just what he needed. We talked about may options once the layout was done and when the initial quote came in way over our budget Todd was very willing to work with us and figure out things we could change to get us down to the budget we wanted to work in. When work started I had many questions on a daily basis that the crew was very willing to answer. The work was done in a timely manner and the Unilock pavers look amazing. We now have a very inviting open backyard that we can't wait to spend time in!

Our new patio is more beautiful than we even imagined. Along with removal of the old, and install of the new patio, they also did some re-grading around our home to eliminate our sump pump from running constantly, and also filled our culvert with boulders. We could not be more pleased. Todd and Ross were great to work with; knowledgeable, experienced, accommodating, and most of all, patient and responsive to our design needs and desires. The crew was on time every day and were polite, respectful, very hard workers, and did an excellent job cleaning up before leaving every night. Cal & Shan's Landscape & Design, Inc. have reinstated my faith that a company still exists who cares and truly makes customer service their number one priority. Great landscape company!! Todd & Ross are a pleasure to deal with. They are professional, timely, listen to what your needs are, do great work, and back up their product or service. Honesty is a big factor for me and I trust them to do all my landscaping needs. I have a new house and they put all new landscaping beds in with plants, mulch (best quality I've seen), and retaining walls. I have had them come back and do other projects such as putting in rock around my pool and installed an awesome natural gas fire pit. They also put landscaping lights shining on the front of my house. I did have a problem with the lights and they came out right away and fixed the problem. Honesty, Trustworthiness, Great Work, Quality Products, Professional.......what more can you ask for?

After taking over 5 feet of water in an out building Todd came and gave us a solution to the water problem after many companies said there was no solution without pumping. He and his team of workers have done an amazing job. They trenched our entire property from 2 feet to over 8 feet deep. Very professional and hard working guys. The crews were very respectful of our yard when working with their equipment and always cleaned up the drive of dirt or rocks. Todd came often to check in on his crews and the overall project. He answered cell phone calls promptly and replied to emails in a timely manner along with sending the estimates and quotes for our jobs. After trenching the yard, they came back and did rock landscaping around our house. They did a great job of laying fabric around my plants and flowers and were so careful when dumping the river rocks. We will have them back when we have more landscaping projects in the future. Todd's should patent his saying "we dont have problems, we have solutions". We would recommend him and his company for any job.

Todd from Cal and Shan's was very helpful in obtaining flood plain approval for my garage re-build's foundation. The work performed, after the flood plain approval, was done quickly, efficiently, and with minimal mess considering the project.

Top notch company. Would definitely hire them again. Very easy & polite & courteous to work with as we changed our minds a couple of times in what we wanted. Gave us a beautiful patio with lighting, garden walls & privacy fence. Our project turned out nicer than we envisioned. We are very pleased.

We had a rock wall that was falling apart and plant beds that were over grown with foliage, including small trees and scrubs that needed to be removed. We also had 3 overgrown birch trees which hung over the roof of our house. Todd came out and diagnosed the problem of the rock wall / garden beds, which was due to the run off from the down spouts and sump pump during heavy rain. With his knowledge, vision and expertise everything turned out above and beyond our expectations. Now that the rock wall is done correctly, we will no longer have to rebuild it again and again. It turned out beautiful, even down to the detail of putting the nicest rocks at eye level. Todd, and his crew were professional, timely, detail oriented, and kept the work site safe, clean, and damage free. The plants were placed perfectly where everything looks neat, in place, and compliments the yard and the house. The trees needed to be heavy cut back, and I thought they would end up looking "Edward Scissor Hands" trimmed them. Not at all, the trees turned out great, and made a big difference on how the over all yard looks. Now, that we look the rest of our yard that we didn't have Cal and Scan's landscaping do, we clearly see how shabby it looks. We look forward to working with this company again. I highly recommend them, as you will not be disappointed as they will go beyond your expectations. I was so thrilled with the work, Todd and his crew did a wonderful job. I wanted a certain type of patio and encouraged me, and suggested additional lighting. I've had lots of compliments on the work they did. When Todd came to do his estimate and he gave me some reviews. I checked them out and they all raved about him. My neighbors were very happy with them as well. He stayed on my property, and was very careful about their property.
