+ -1 moreTo this day, I have no clue what is wrong with this fellow. He wants to open a shop in Wauconda, IL where I live but I would say he isn't qualified. His lack of customer service and professionalism is, quite frankly, startling. Communication is NOT his forte. Perhaps he is like a bear and hibernates for the winter but don't tell people you can do something that seems to be way over this guy's ability. Never returned any calls or emails. I just happened to reach him the day he said he would be out. But no follow up, no recommendations, NOTHING!
Description of Work: My above ground, 28' diameter pool, was losing a LOT of water and was down about 15,000 gallons of water. In early November, called Bella Pool and Spa based on other reviews. His voice mail was full and couldn't accept more messages. Was to call back later. I was sent an email he was out of town and would be back toward the end of November. I asked him if he would then look at my situation. Paul said that was right up his alley! Gave Paul my address and he, in turn, gave me his cell phone. The end of November, he was back in town and would look at it. I called him, texted him, or emailed him about 6 different days. Finally, he told me he would be there THAT DAY. Showed up. Took off the winter cover. Never contacted me again...

+ -1 moreNot well at all. They came out and took the cover off. They started the pump and poured a couple of gallons of bleach in. They said they would be back in a few days but never showed up. We tried calling may times but they would not answer the phone or return the calls. We had to hire someone else.

+ -1 moreI called Paul to shut down my pool. We set a date and he and his crew showed as expected. They worked very fast and completed the task in just over 2 hours. We had just purchased the home and have never owned or maintained a pool. I had several questions and they were answered. Paul offered other advice on safety and maintenance. I had the company that had maintained the pool start it up this spring. I noted a skimmer ws not working and was told it had not worked for years and did not know why. They were not interested in trying trying repair it even though they are a full service company. Paul had it fixed with in minutes as it was simply clogged. At this point I would not think of calling anyone else.
