Arrived a little later than expected but worked well, checked in where decisions should be made answered all questions and completed the job to my full satisfaction. I will definitely use them again.

I'm very satisfied with the work performed and would use them again.

1) Shawn fixed my leaky faucet when previous plumber couldn't. Saved me $1200 in not having to order a new copper kitchen faucet. 2) Final bill was much lower than expected because they charged based on time at house-Not a flat service call rate.

Shawn was on time, kept his work area clean and made additional repairs that were found during the installation.

We did not use this provider as the scope of our project changed, however we would certainly re-contact them if a similar project came to light.

Wondeful-service was excellent, start to finish. I will be spreading the word among my friends and family.

Shawn was very personable and capable. He showed us the repair before moving on to installing the new door, to make certain we were satisfied. Reasonably priced.

I have used Doug and his company several times in the past. This time around Dan, Doug's son responded and quoted me 400-600 for the initial work. I asked for few additional things including caulking of the bath etc and I expected to pay 2 days worth of work. Shaun completed all the things requested although he did call me to say he had to cut out more drywall to get the fan in but he ultimately managed to get it up there. He cleaned up after he left and also left me the receipts of the home depot materials. He was conscientious enough to call back mentioning he had made a mistake on the final bill and I adjusted my check accordingly. It is a pleasure to work with Doug's company. Only thing I would request is that they clarify a day ahead what time they would have some one in and out for the work. I was somehow assuming Shaun would be showing up earlier in the morning around 9 am and that I would be showing him around the areas that needed work. Since he came in around only after 11 am on both days, we worked everything over phone and he left around 6 PM. Nevertheless, they charged me only 750 for the time spent and not the 800 I was expecting so that was fine. The work was done very well, as always. This is one company I can trust with my home keys with. Maybe I said that earlier too.

Shawn came out & quoted price $200-250 - 1st visit spent an hr (drywall repair & insulation). From then on it depended on them being in area or me calling to see when they were coming out.

The issue with this company is not in the quality of their work but rather in their ability to accurately estimate/quote a job. Originally we asked for a quote that also included replacing a 10' x 4' section of siding on the side of the house. We decided not to have that portion of the original estimate completed. When the job was finished I was shocked to receive an invoice for an amount that was almost as much as the original quote, even though I did not have them complete the biggest portion of the work. The owner claimed that the job took longer than expected and that his quote was just an and quot;estimateand quot; of how long it would take to complete. He said that quotes could not be exact or his company would lose money on a job that took longer then estimated. There was nothing that came up unexpectedly that would have caused the job to take longer. I was billed for the time of 3 workers and given a copy of receipts for materials used. I could not determine from the copies of receipts which materials were used or even if the materials were used on my home repair. Additionally, there was lots of idle time spend by the workers. .

The tech arrived later than expected. Performed the tasks well, although it took longer than expected (3.5 hrs). Was charged an hourly rate, so ended up quite expensive, IMO. The work done: hung two mirrors (underestimated weight and therefore wire snapped as it was being hung, rehung using the eyelets that came with the wire) , re-fixed a wooden baton that had come loose from the drywall, cut a fabric strap from a tree. I also requested one strip light in garage be removed and the cover attached to another existing light, which had missing cover. In place of the strip light I wanted a pendant light installed. I was informed they'd be back 3 days later to finish the job, but they never turned up or called to rearrange. I emailed Just Fix It today and received prompt apology for not turning up or calling. I've decided to use an electrician to finish the job.

The electrician could have brought a ladder with him especially that he will need it. But they did a good job.

Doug responded to my email query very quickly and gave me an excellent quote for the work. I asked if he could come on a Saturday as I work during the week and he was very flexible. He arrived, completed the work in the time he quoted and at a better rate than anyone else. I was so pleased with his work that I showed him a couple of other jobs in my house that I'd like to have done and he offered great suggestions. I'll definitely call him for these other jobs and any other work I need done. Great guy.

I saw his name on a truck. He never responded to me. It is very frustrating - he must have more business than he can handle.

Doug sent a quick and detailed response to my email inquiry and was able to schedule me right away, at my convenience. He arrived on time and got right to work. He was able to diagnose a problem with the toilet that had actually caused the wax ring to fail-- something a previous handyman was not able to do. This was clearly due to his experience and expertise. His fix was fast and effective. I did not have all the parts needed to install the kitchen faucet, but he quickly bought them from a nearby store, did not charge me for the travel time, and finished the installation with no problems. The light fixture was a little tricky to put together and hang, but he did the job well. Overall, the work all looks great. The price was terrific. And Doug was a very nice guy to work with and have in my home. I would HIGHLY recommend Just Fix It anytime you need a handyman!

The guys showed up on time, got the door out, cleaned it, determined that one of the wheels had a blown bearing, andd put it back together, telling me to get the parts and let them know. (They would have gotten the parts, but I would have had to pay labor for them to go get it.) I need to call and schedule a time for them to come back and put the new wheel assembly on. I'm sure it will be a good experience then, too.

Everything turned out great. Sean finished all 3 jobs in one day. I will call him again when we have more odd jobs to do.

We had problem with them. We tried a number of times to get them to schedule an appointment but they didn't return our calls. We bought a gift certificate or something through Angieslist.

I had asked Doug to do this job for sometime before winter sets in since I did not have any emergent deadline. At that time, he took a look at the attic when he came by for a different job and estimated that it might cost around $500 to do the insulation. This particular room had literally no insulation whatsoever and was clearly feeling cold in the 40s weather. In any case, Doug stopped by 2-3 weeks later and inspected the attic/venting situation with a roofing friend of his. The next day evening he had completed the work, cleaned up, and left me a note with the bill for materials and labor. He even emailed me contrasting before and after pictures. Now the room clearly feel warmer and I am very pleased with the insulation situation. As for the price, it seemed reasonable to me although I admit I am not the kind that shops around aggressively. So I cannot speak for whether what I paid was reasonable or not ($180 parts and $420 for labor). Hence the N/A on the price. Doug is pretty popular on Yelp and generally pretty busy and booked for weeks; so, if you have emergent situations that require same day or next day attention, do not expect him to comply with emergent requests. On the other hand, he is trustworthy and I can leave the keys out for him while I am away without having to worry about the stuff I leave out in the open at home (dollar bills to check books and credit cards). For me, that is priceless.
