Tom responded almost immediately by stopping by for a roof inspection and free estimate. He promptly delivered the estimate. Once the job was confirmed, he performed roof maintenance and was done within a few hours. He was very prompt and professional.

I got very good quality roofing materials, and it was a major job because they had to remove two roofs before they could replace the wood and install the new roof. They did a wonderful job, and did it all in one day! They cleaned up everything after they were done. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had a roof installed by one of those storm chaser companies and after 3 years we had multiple leaks. I fought with them for the last three years and finally gave up on them. I called Hills Roofing and after one inspection of the roof they found multiple problems from the previous roofing company. They gave me a price to fix the mess and were able to do all the work right away. I called them in a panic after the roof began to leak during a light drizzle 2 days before Christmas. They were able to come out the next day. They were great. Professional, prompt, clean and the roof has not leaked a drop sense they fixed it. Even after heavy spring downpours. They were kind enough to take pictures of the problems and give me a written report describing what was wrong which we are now using to recover the repair cost from the original contractor that did the job. Hills roofing did a great job and they were very accommodating. I would highly recommend them and will hire them again when our current roof is due for a replacement. It's nice to find a really good contractor that cares about the customer.

We called Hills Roofing to come out and give us a price for a new roof. It was between 15 and 20 years old and had a significant leak. This inquiry was in the late fall and someone was quick to respond. He went up on the roof and into the attic taking measurements for what we thought would be a new roof. When he came down he told us he didn't think we needed the entire roof done.Just some major repairs. We were very appreciative for their honesty. The repairs ended up costing half or less of what a new roof would have cost. We set up a time for the repairs to be the first thing after the winter weather broke. Then it was done promptly. The roofers were professional and did a good job of cleaning up when finished. The repair was a success.

Ray was here for about an hour and replace a screw and water barrier and shingles. Also he tested the skylight and everything was ok. The real test came this Sunday when we had a rain storm and no leaks. Great job!!!

Upon the initial visit, Kevin reviewed the three areas of my roof that suffered damage from raccoons returning to see if they could get into their old digs. One area was actually torn through and Kevin did a quick fix to prevent further damage from any potential storms. More extensive patching was required and Kevin sent out a crew about a week later to handle these repairs. One of the areas that was patched was where Hills Roofing did a repair in 2013 that suffered surprisingly extensive damage by raccoon determined to get in to the crawlspace - this time, raccoon was only able to slightly turn up the corner of a shingle which was good but probably prompted said critter to tear up the other two areas trying to get into the crawlspace. All-in-all, it is not even noticeable where the patches were done and I only wish I had taken "before" photos to the great job that was done would be even more obvious. Very happy with the great job that was done!

They came out and explained things in detail. He was very aware of my budget and did a great job!

Arrived early but had called to confirm it was ok to arrive early. Very knowledgeable and I would defiantly use this company again!!

Ken came a few weeks ago and looked at the skylights and give me a quote and answered all my questions. Skylights were replaced on Friday-the 28th of Nov. Man who came to do the work talked to husband and myself and was very professional. He answered any questions we had and covered up the area in our family room under the skylights. After he was done he cleaned the area where the skylights were put in and also our driveway. He came in after and told us if we had any problems with the skylights to call them. He was very nice and a very hard worker.

We noticed some water spots on our ceiling and called Hills Roofing to inspect our roof. Kevin came out and informed us that the water spots were not due to a leak but rather condensation. He also offered to inspect the entire roof free of charge. I was highly satisfied with the service - Kevin was punctual and extremely polite. I'll definitely give them a call whenever we need any future work.

It went very well. The week before they put in the new skylight it rained every day. Kevin came out and put a tarp over the skylight, thus protecting the drywall in the bathroom. The company is very professional.

They quoted the job with a decent price. They showed up on schedule and completed the work in a timely manner. The work quality was good. Overall pleased with the work and the service.

, Called Hills at a busy time in our area. Storms had caused roof damage to many homes. Though storms did not cause our problem, and it was a small job, the dispatcher found a person working in the area who came to our home a few hours later. While he was here we asked him to look at the condition of our roof. He correctly assessed the age of the roof. He said roof was in good condition and gave a projection as to when we need to replace the roof. They worked professionally, honestly and gave quick response. When we need the new roof, we will call Hills

Kevin arrived early for scheduled appointment time. We were experiencing water leaking thru kitchen ceiling during heavy rain and suspected a failure of the flashing on the plumbing collar. He confirmed the failure and also inspected the second collar had similar problem. He repaired both and the leak seems to be gone. Work was done quickly and professionally. We will definitely call Hills Roofing if we need service in the future.

At the suggestion of my insurance agent, I contacted provider to request an evaluation of storm damage to house. Spoke person to person on Monday 6/2. Rep indicated they would be in area Thu/Fri of that week, however, Thu and Fri came and went with no phone call. Received phone message the next week to contact them (rep - Kevin) regarding scheduling. Called and left message on 6/11 and never heard back again. Pursued another provider who has been absolutely responsive and a pleasure to deal with. (Future review coming)

The entire operation went well and we are very pleased with the outcome. Kevin was professional, efficient, easy to work with and got the job done! Hills has done work for us previously. We will call them again!

The skylights were done exactly as described. They look great and are no longer leaking. There was a slight complication with one of the bathroom dampers but it was addressed in a timely manner. I would use Hill Roofing again.

They were able to schedule quicker than previously stated. Performed all work quickly & efficiently , cleaned & removed all debris. We were move than pleased with this company& would use again.

Hills Roofing installed gutter guards and replaced some undersized gutter with a more appropriate size last fall (see previous review). They could have suggested more work/material but a money-saving solution was offered instead - and it worked. In the interim, my neighbor had some serious roof issues, called Hills and experienced the same thing: alternative approaches to solving the problems....that work, and at a fair price. When I developed problems with my roof following the recent severe winter, I didn't even bother calling anyone else. Because I had another (major, well-known) contractor put a second layer on this same house in 2000, I feel I can make a pretty good comparison regarding quality of work. The important point for me were: 1 - They return phone calls and emails promptly, and show up when they say they will. We all know this is not the norm. 2 - They treat your property with the utmost respect. I have extensive gardens around the house and was prepared for the worst, as it is impossible to avoid damage on a job like this; they need to get stuff down/up from the edge of the roof. I was thrilled with the condition of my plants after the job was over. On my second layer with the other contractor in 2000, everything was trashed. And nails......face it, it is impossible to get every single nail. However, the crew uses a magnetic roller around the yard, plus someone comes with a magnet later to follow up all around the job site. We found just a few because we were looking for them - and that's the point; we had to look hard for them. With the other contractor they were strewn all over the place. I'm still finding old rusted ones years later from that job. 3 - I have a brand new concrete driveway and was concerned about the 20yd dumpster.... not an issue at all. 4 - The crew is friendly and very considerate. Not a lot of unnecessary yelling going on.....unlike a recent job a block away from me where they were broadcasting to the entire subdivision, similar to my job in 2000. 5 - The subcontractor who did the insulation was just as professional and considerate. Also, if something goes wrong or gets broken, they take care of it. We have a metal splash guard attached to the gutter in one spot near a downspout that somehow became dislodged during the job, and the rear side of the downspout had a slight scrape. I didn't care about the downspout because you can't even really see it, and told them so. They surprised me the other day by showing up to repair it in spite of the fact that I said I was fine with it. Plus, the roof looks great.

After discovering we had a leak during a rain storm, we called Hills Roofing after looking through Angie's. List. Due to a customer cancellation, they were able to set an appointment the next day. The representative arrived early and was prepared with supplies and equipment. After describing the problems in more detail, he went to work to and examined the problem areas. After his inspection he gave us a quote and told us he could complete the fix that day. We agreed and the work was done that afternoon. I was very pleased with the appointment and will call them again if we have any future problems.

Job went very well. Completed as promised. Work performed with good quality workmanship.

At this point the work is fine, but it took maybe an hour to an hour and a half tops to perform the work and at $750 that means I paid top end price.
