Great, from start to finish. Kevin is a no pressure, thorough sales rep to deal with. Explains everything that needs to be done and why. Provides pictures to better understand some issues. The crew is wonderful, great personalities, easy to deal with. Covered up everything that needed to be covered, and cleaned up after themselves quickly. Kevin is very responsive when you need to ask a question if he's not on site, he actually answers his own cell phone right away to make sure his customers are getting the service they deserve. Definitely would recommend Hills Roofing and be sure to ask for Kevin.

Kevin and his team repaired the leak. It took two visits to pinpoint the problem but they were able to fix the nail causing the leak. They were very knowledgeable and quick to respond. Would hire them again for any future repairs

These guys are the best. Looking for a roofing contractor, or any contractor, can be tough. Most of the guys that came out walked the property and gave us a quote 5 mins later. Come on really, there has to be more to it? I am not going to pay 20K+ to a contractor that spends 5 mins and doesn't even pull out a ladder and doesn't detail the quote out. Kevin and Hill's roofing are the best you can get. They came out and not only examined the roof from the outside but when into the attic as well to see if any plywood was rotten and so forth. Kevin returned with a detailed quote didn't pressure us in any way. One of the many deciding factor was the crew. They use the same crew all the time, no sub-contractors. Now that meant we had to wait an extra couple of weeks but we didn't mind. Another key point is that they stand behind their work and craftsmanship. About a month after the job we found a squirrel in our attic. We were naturally upset. But when I called Hills roofing about it. They came out and acknowledged it was their fault and they would take care of it and pay for any additional expenses to fix the problem. Their prices are fair and they quality and attention to detail is above the rest.

It would have been an A rating. Continue reading and you will see why they did not get the A. The guys that did the work were great. They were respectful of my home and left the work area spotless. Kevin, who estimated the job, is, a true professional. I had a concern after the guys left and it was Kevin that came right over and made it right! Kevin knows about customer satisfaction and how to treat customers, especially repeat costumers with respect and courtesy, which, unfortunately, in my opinion, is something that Tom, the owner knows nothing about. If you have occasion to need their services, which I said were excellent, ( I have used them twice) and the workmanship is top notch ), You would do well to speak directly to Kevin.

Work completed promptly and professionally.

They came earlier than we expected, which was great, and did an excellent job, as described in the description above. They removed all debris and left the area clean. We made a 1/3rd down-payment and they billed us for the balance a week or so later. They did a complete replacement of our roof several years back and we were pleased with their work, so called them again for this job.

It was a total nightmare. I have leaking and I have nails coming through every room of my upstairs. The guys were nasty and they left a giant mess in my yard. They ruined my neighbor’s tree. It was a nightmare. I was very dissatisfied and I am probably going to end up in court with them. They told me that I needed skylights and I now have skylights with shades that didn’t work properly that are leaking. Everything they touch is a problem. Their workers were nasty and they didn’t take care of my yard properly. I ended up spending $31 000 and they broke windows. It was a horrible nightmare and I am still living it. They should hire people that know what they are doing. Their workers are shoddy. I don’t have an attic I have real high ceiling, I have nails from putting up the roof in every single room upstairs in my house. I have cracks in my wall. I have all kinds of problem and they ruined a bunch of things here. I would tell a friend that my experience was horrible and not to hire them. They don’t stand by their work, they want me to repair all the things they broke and deduct it from the bill.

Kevin came out to inspect our roof. He recommended we have the chimney flashing redone and redo the area by the exhaust pipe stack. He gave me an estimate via email within 2 days. I asked him to have his worker check to see if your attic fan was working. He quoted me $450 to install at the same time as our roof repairs were completed. The repairman "Ray" was very professional and came at the time he told me. He worked on the roof for 5 hours. Unfortunately he could not get the new attic fan wired. I emailed Kevin who also spoke to Ray the next day about the problem he encountered. Kevin gave me the name of an electrician they use and I set up time for him to come wire the fan. The electrician was able to wire it from within the house. I will see if we have any water leaking the next heavy rain. For now, I am completely satisfied with the work they performed.

The guard was installed in less than a day and is a much more permanent and effective guard than the old plastic guards. Estimator and installer were very professional. Couldn't ask for more!

I called Hills Roofing with a repair, they sent someone out that week to take an estimate and sent it over the next day. A couple days went by and we decided to move forward with them. When I called to schedule, they said they would be in the area that day and would stop by to do the job. Very efficient and professional.

They were friendly, honest, and offered expert opinions. The tech that came out showed me that my problem was actually in a totally different location than I thought it was.

Hill's Roofing did an excellent job! Kevin called me back with a quote within a day of me calling and had me on the schedule for the next week. The work was excellent and you can't even tell where the damage was.

5 stars for responsiveness. Squeezed me in for same day inspection then moved schedule around to take advantage of early December warm spell - crown protection requires 24 hours of above freezing temps and we were having 50 degrees plus for two days. I received a competitor quote that included concrete repairs before addition of crown coat which Hills did not do but that provider wanted to wait for spring. Shared quote received from said competitor and although Hills did not match the much lower price they cut me a break. MUCH appreciated- especially during the Christmas season. Highly recommend..

Finding a good roofer is not easy! I needed a company to replace a portion of shallow sloped roof on my house and replace a portion of gutter/facia. After contacting five separate contractors, only three showed up. HR was the only one to show up on time and provide a detailed quote. There quote was between 10-30% higher than the other two contractors that showed up. However, I was impressed that the person that came to my home, Kevin, took the time to look over the areas of my roof and gutters that I provide an honest estimate of what needed to be done. I'm a pretty handy person and I had a good idea of what work needed to be done and was prepared for the up sale. I did not get that with HR. Plus, I had a few gutters that were in poor shape and had caused the facia to rot. Kevin was honest and explained the process to me. HR is licensed and insured, which I think is a must for a roofing company. They also use their own crews of workers and not day labor. On the day of install the crew arrived early and was there almost to nightfall. The job was not large, but there were some tricky gutter work that needed to be done. After initial inspection, the work seemed very good. They left a few slivers of aluminum and tar blobs around, but overall they cleaned up the site well. The only negative is I discovered a portion of my facia was not replaced as expected...several weeks after the work was completed. I called Kevin back to express my concerns and he came back within the week to inspect. I was expecting a bit of confrontation in getting the work repaired...and a less than favorable review on Angie's list for HR after. But, Kevin agreed that the issue was overlooked, apologized for the inconvenience, and had a crew out to my house to repair ASAP. Having a poor opinion of roofers in general, HR changed that perception. I'm very satisfied with HR Roofing and will use them again in the future.

All went well. I used them before and highly recommend them. They were able to do it while I was at work. Can't tell there used to be a skylight on that part of the roof. Great job again guys!

Had of work done, Kevin came across very professional and knowledgeable. Selected Hills Roofing simply because they mentioned skylights. I had 5 older skylights that all leaked and did not think were worth replacing. I have a very old house with many additions over the years so my footprint/roof is very expansive. I have a semi-flat area that has always been a problem area and has been re-roofed many times with unsatisfactory results. Watching the work preformed I feel that Hills actually did it correct and going forward the roof will not suffer the same old, seemingly unsolvable problems. Dumpster was delivered shortly after 5 man crew arrived and was removed shortly before crew finished. I still see dollar bills flashing before my eyes but they did a great job and am very happy with the work preformed.

HR Hills Roofing did excellent work on my roof replacement. Also the attic mold was removed and a very effective ventilation system was installed. The team was punctual, professional, attentive to details, and left the property spotless. I fully recommend HR Hills Roofing.

Estimator was on time, professional, and knowledgeable. The bottom line is the price which is way over my budget. I got a local person with the same qualifications for $5,250 which includes soffit vents on the garage and house. Their price did not include that service.

We are very happy with Hills roofing. They were responsive and easy to work with on this job. They were here when they said they would be and finished the job quickly. They made suggestions for the gutter system to prevent problems in the future. We would highly recommend them for any roofing and skylight jobs. They were very professional.

They did a good job. I'm happy with the work. They billed me what they said they would bill. There was a small problem and they came right back to make sure everything was right. I would definitely use them again.

Kevin was very thorough with his inspection of our roof. Did warn us that we probably had to replace some plywood, etc. Our house is not really big, single family split level. The tear off and reroof was done in one day. Well they came back to finish in the next morning because they didn't have enough shingles to finish the day before and had to wait for them, but that was minor. The area around our house was inspected and was clean, no nails or debris. Even though you will pay a lot for a reroof, they take the time and energy to be sure all is done correctly. Do I think it was over priced, Yes. But they were light years more professional than several other companies we had out for an estimate, and they sent people to inspect the area after the installation. Very professional, punctual, reasonable price - fully explained where needs to be fixed, how and provided reasonable estimate. Were very punctual on inspection as well as the for the fix.

Arrived on time of appt. and immediately conducted inspection that we needed for our home owners insurance. Roof was in good shape except for a couple of spots where minor repairs were performed. Hills provided a written report that was needed for insurance and did quality work to ensure our roof continues to do its job. They were easy to work with, were professional yet personable and provided quality work at a fair price. Additionally, we called them back during one of the snow storms we had which ultimately created ice damming on the roof...they were out next day and took care of the problem...in a timely and cos effective manner. We WILL use them again!

Kevin was on another job not far from us when I called their office, so he stopped by later that afternoon. He went right up on the roof and came back with pictures of the conditions to backstop his recommendations. He also explained exactly why the old flashing had failed. Since this was a requirement for closing the sale of the house, they were very accommodating in scheduling (given that we have had a very rainy spring and early summer). Kevin showed up right on time and went to work even though it was lightly raining. His work was first rate, completely effective, and looks great from the ground. This was a small job for them, but they treated it like it was important - an attitude we appreciate.
